Why is it so hot???? My shower is today and will be held at an air conditioned restaurant but my hair is going to look like crap and yesterday I couldn't convince myself to leave the house early enough to get my eyebrows threaded. I hate this weather!

@scostel2 That was me yesterday! I went and got my hair done, decided to get it straighten (even though my hair is straight, it usually flips out). With the downpour of rain I got caught in, and the humidity, my hair went puffy and frizzy. A nice waste of $30!

My petty problem is sad - my dog doesn't like me anymore

For the first 4-5 months of the pregnancy, she wouldn't leave me alone - I peed, she was there, I had a bath, she was there, I went for a nap, yup she was there. Now she barely comes near me. On Friday I had the bed to myself for a bit while hubby was out playing baseball, and I had to use my stern voice to even get her to come into the bedroom. Finally she came WITH HER EARS DOWN! and laid for 2 minutes then left. She has gone totally sucky with my husband though. *wahhhh* I want my dog back!!

@LauraPCOS ... Our big dog doesn't like me as much pregnant. Ever since I got KU he just doesn't follow me around like he used to. At least our little dog is still obsessed with me I guess

I am way too hot. It's making me feel sick. This heatwave/ humidity needs to go. And all my friends are going to the beach today but I don't think beach with a toddler and modified bedrest really work well together. Wahhhhhhhhhh!

@scostel2 can you curl your hair? Sometimes when it's humid like this- curling my straight hair is a better option because if it falls out it still looks good! Also- you could throw your hair straightener in your bag and do a quick touch up at the restaurant before you walk in!

My petty problem is even though I got a LOT accomplished yesterday, I didn't finish everything I wanted to do. Now instead of doing nothing today I have to do laundry and clean the floors.

I have a massage at noon set up but it's rainy and I don't want to leave my house. Plus I have so much housework I need to do, but after my massage no way in hell am I going to do any of it.

I accidentally slept in this morning and didn't get my daughter up to stay on her schedule. I'm trying to get her used to waking up at 6:30 so she'll be ready for school next week. We didn't wake up until 7:45, so now I basically have to start over adjusting her back towards 6:30.

I need to go food shopping but it's too hot and j don't want to wear pants (or a dress for that matter!) to go. And I need to renew my license tomorrow after my 2 Drs appts and I don't feel like waiting at the DMV all day lol ... Could have renewed it by mail but I lost the stupid paper!!

Did you have the waffle fries? Oh god, the waffle fries. And the #1 (I add cheese and bacon to mine) is an original you can't go wrong with. If you like pickles, get extra of those. Their nuggets and strips with their chickfila sauce is to die for. Also, I'm a huge ranch fan so I like to mix Polynesian and ranch sauces for the nuggets. Their salads are good, their icecream is good, their lemonade is good. Chickfila was my first job so I strongly advocate for the quality of their food. It's all pretty fantastic.

And now now my petty problem is @MRSCORKERs problem.

TONS of stuff is closed here on Sunday too. Some few places open mid afternoon but Sunday morning? Desert town. Haha.

Now I really want chickfila. I would settle for Zaxby's too but we don't have one (yet! Apparently there's one in the works). Gahhh some waffle fries and a milkshake would be amazing right now.

Maybe my petty problem is neither root beer nor floats nor milkshakes exist in Germany. I find myself craving milkshakes at LEAST once a week and literally the only option is McDonald's.

I love that the last few posts are about Chick-Fil-A lol... They are Catholic so they are closed on Sunday and so is Hobby Lobby around here! The line for Chick-Fil-A is always sooooo long! But the chicken is worth it! LOL

I went to a diner for lunch today. I ordered a veggie burger and fries. I got a veggie burger... with fruit. And, because I know it was my fault for talking too quietly to be understood, I didn't say anything. I just ate my fruit. On the upside, it was pretty good fruit. And now I won't feel guilty about eating ice cream later today.

@ignoscemihi For the sake of total honesty I must say they have milkshakes, but they literally mean MILK with a bit of ice cream and/or fruit.
And I like your idea. The guy who owns the ice cream café in my town drives a Maserati, so clearly it's a plausible business venture

One of my cats is attached to me when she used to be all about my hubby. She gets upset if I talk to someone else instead of her, and if I'm in the bath she tried to get in the water but doesn't appreciate that it's wet.

I had their original chicken burger (no add ons or anything, just to try it straight out if the gate). Yes, waffle cut fries were had. I like the texture difference from regular fries but they're still just fries. I tried their honey mustard sauce and garlic herb sauce and meh. I got DS the chicken nuggets and he seemed to like them (ate all 4). Didn't have anything more than that. CFA JUST appeared in my area in the last few months so it's still quite new.
