Hello April '17 moms!!! I'm a mom to 3 boys (7, 5, 2) and just found out we are expecting our 4th child due April 20th! DH and I are both 32 years old. We are very excited but not sharing the news with family and friends just yet. I'm nervous to tell people because everyone already tells me I'm crazy for having 3 boys and I don't want to hear what they think of us having a 4th. I'm also dreading the "I hope you have a girl" and "how terrible would it be if you have another boy". DH and I went into this pregnancy knowing full well and actually expecting it to be another boy. Anyways, I'm excited to be able to share and talk pregnancy with internet strangers!
Hello ladies! My husband and I are both 28, we were married in September of 2015 and have been TTC ever since. We had a CP in Nov of 2015, then a MC at 8wks (baby measured 6) in March.
We are over the moon excited, but I am scared as well. I just want to get through these first few weeks!
I got a BFNS at 11 or 12 DPO (on sunday) and was devastated. My period was not due until today but I just.. idk felt pregnant... so I took another test after work yesterday and I'm pregnant! Yay! EDD is April 17th
@buzzellsl I love being a boy mom. His little world is so interesting and he's already taught me so much about the opposite sex. I'm almost a little scared if this one is a girl.
Hi ladies! I'm 26 and my husband is 29. I got my BFP on August 6th at 12DPO after a negative test on August 3rd (9DPO). I've tested a few times since because I'm still craving the reassurance. Estimated due date is 4/17/16.
This is our first and I'm having a really hard time feeling excited when I'm just so nervous. My first appointment isn't until September 6th. Does anyone have any tips for relaxing between the period of time when you find out and your first appointment? I miss wine already.
Hi ladies! For some reason I could not find this group on my phone. Glad I have some time now to post a quick intro.
BFP: 8/6/16
EDD: 4/16/17
Married: 5 years this December...who hoooo
This will be my second baby. I have a 14 month old son. For those first time momma's-to-be, enjoy the ride!! Motherhood is hard, but it will be the most rewarding thing you will go through in life (My opinion). I look foward to getting to know all of you!
Hi, I was hoping to be a May/ June 2017 Mom but had a nice surprise this week. I am 32, due April 14th, and have one child, DD who is 20 months. It was great being part of the DEC 14 board but it pretty much ended with everyone leaving after some drama. The two lessons I learned from that are people hate stupid questions and snarky responses. However, It looks like The Bump has made some improvements to their boards, so I am excite to be part of this one.
@Missa0830, ugh, I'm sorry to hear about the ruptured ovarian cyst. I had that happen during my first pregnancy and it was so painful! I hope you're feeling better soon!
Hello all. Estimated due date right now is 04/05. I'm excited/terrified for baby #3. DS1 will be 3.5 and DS2 will be a little over 2. I had pre-eclampsia with both at 35 and 34 weeks. Oh and I'm advanced maternal age at 36, husband is 35. We live in the Twin Cities. I'm looking forward to enjoying this (likely) last pregnancy!
Hey y'all - Got my BFP on 8/3, current EDD is April 10th. We are from GA and have an almost 2 year old little boy. We're excited for #2 and can't wait to meet this little one. I mainly lurked on my son's board (Aug 2014) due to my job being crazy but hopefully I can be more involved this time!
Hi! I am 29 years old and expecting my 3rd baby April 2017! We found out 8/6 that we are expecting and the estimated due date is 4/15/17! My first appointment and ultrasound will be 9/6. My husband and I have 2 adorable boys already, ages 3 and 1, so we are praying #3 is a girl! This time around was a TOTAL surprise. We were not trying and carelessly preventing so here we are!
Accidentally made a separate thread for this, but figured I'd add here. I'm Emily (31). DH (also 31) and I got our BFP on 8/6, but I had a strong feeling that I was pregnant for a few days prior to that. This is out third child; we have a daughter, Lily, who is 5, and a son, Jackson, who is 3. I am a high school English teacher, so I am gearing up for back to school. My EDD is 4/15, tax day! I am super excited to be here!
Yay! Only took about 2 weeks to be able to join in on the conversations. I am very excited to be a part of this group! Hubby and I got married in 2013. We weren't TTC at the time, but we weren't using protection and never got pregant. We finally decided to try in July 2016. After using an ovulation predictor kit, I got pregnant the first try! EDD is April 3rd. It's been an ordeal finding an OBGYN after being turned away from my established GYN, but I have my first OB appointment August 29th for routine stuff and an appointment September 12th with the Dr. for an ultrasound. I can't wait for that one!!!
Hello all! I am 30 and found out last week that we are hopefully expecting our first baby on 4/15! We have been TTGP since Dec and have had 2 losses at 5 weeks and 10 weeks so I'm a bundle of nerves. Im looking forward to getting to know you ladies!
Hi! As I've seen someone else mention here too - I've lurked on previously Boards (especially when I was pregnant and in the newborn phase with my son, who is now 3.5 years old), but with the advent of this pregnancy, I'd like to become an active member of the conversation. I hope you'll bear with me as I learn the etiquette of the posting threads, abbreviations and appropriate use of gifs & tickers. My intro basics: *This is my second pregnancy - EDD 4/10/17 (based on LMP, but I'm quite confident that's as accurate as a due can be) *BFP - 8/4 Thursday evening; 3 days after my period was due to start. *I'm 31 years old. *My husband and I have a 3.5 year old son, a dog (almost 9 years old), a cat (11 years old), a rabbit (maybe 5ish?), and 4 chickens (new! ~2weeks old)
We've been hoping and trying for this new little one for what feels like quite a while & are excited to add a new little human to our family. I'm a little nervous as well, but nothing like I was with my first. Having a generally idea of the journey ahead calms a lot of my anxiety (as long as I don't think too much about delivery or those newborn sleepless nights).
I wish you all happy & healthy pregnancies, smooth deliveries and adorable spring babies.
Hello! I got my first BFP on July 25th and the next BFP on August 3rd. I am 23, and my DH is 24. I am a first-time mom. We've been married for almost 2 years. We are looking forward to welcoming our little baby on April 2nd 2017. We live in Romania. I am studying Pharmacy (with a secret love for marketing and social media) and my husband is an electronics engineer turned beekeeper.
Married: December 14th, 2014
BFP: July 25th, 2016 EDD: March 30th, 2017 (FTM)
I've had a pretty rough ttc journey. This is my 6th pregnancy and I only have 1 living child. Ectopic rupture resulting in the loss of my left tube and ovary in August 2012. Ds born July 2013. Natural miscarriage at in May 2015. Chemical pregnancy in July 2015. Blighted ovum requiring a D&C in Dec 2015.
I had some testing done and found out I have MTHFR. Hopefully the baby aspirin and folate keep this pregnancy viable. Im also taking progesterone as a precaution.
Due Date is April 19th (my birthday is the 18th). What a great birthday present a baby would be!
Hi Everyone! I'm 28 and DH is 34. We have been TTC since about November. Today is our anniversary and this will be our first child if it goes smoothly!
**loss mentioned ** I have gotten pregnant twice in 2016 already in January and May with both ending in losses between the 6 and 7 week mark.
I got pregnant this time immediately following a Mc so dating is a bit challenging but my current estimate is 6+3 with EDD of April 4!
Although I'd like to go the midwife route, I had an appointment with my OB by chance this week. She sent me for Hcg testing and told me to get an ultrasound in two weeks unless i experienced bleeding. My Hcg only went up 63% but my tests were only 45 hours apart so I'm going to try really hard not to stress about it I have an ultrasound scheduled for Aug. 22.
I am cautiously optimistic and trying to stay calm and relaxed. I hope to get to stick around this time!!
Hi All! Got my BFP on 8/1 after getting my first ever positive ovulation test on 7/21 (I was so excited I ran downstairs and screamed "I'm ovulating!" to my husband- he was on a work call and his co-workers apparently heard me- we got a good laugh out of it). We have been TTC for about a year, but I have very irregular cycles and it was hard to pinpoint my ovulation date- looks like we finally got it right and here we are! EDD is 4/13/2017 and we couldn't be more excited! We are, also, foster parents and found out our current placement was going to be moving the day before the BFP! We live outside of Grand Rapids, MI. I am so excited to be on this journey with all of you!
Hi everyone! Another AMA here - I'm pregnant for the first time two months shy of age 39 (DH is 41 - will be his first too). We live in Santa Monica - I'm a financial analyst and DH writes proposals for business development. We got married almost two months ago in June, and this was our second cycle/first cycle paying attention (with the temping and the OPKs) - it appears to work.
BFP was 8/10 (16th high temp, 1-2 days after AF was due - CD 31/16 DPO). EDD based on LMP/O is 4/17/17 (which happens to be DH's 42nd birthday). I may have actually had a faint positive CD 28 /13 DPO but I generally need to be hit over the head with stuff like this.
I finally got my marriage certificate in the mail last Friday, so went to social security and changed my name on Monday, we opened escrow on a house (not in Santa Monica) on Monday too, and then this on Wednesday - maybe kind of a big week.
I know it's early yet, but I really hope I get to stay here! DH is working to manage his expectations/excitement, but I can't help but be optimistic. I didn't even have an ob and just made an appointment for 9/7 today, which kind of made it feel more real.
I look forward to getting to know you all!

I am a 35 year old woman living in London (UK). This will be my first baby!!! I am 4 weeks 2 days and the due date is 20 April. HE is also 35, we have been married for two years and we are sooo excited!!! Have a 6 and 7 week viability scan scheduled already and currently looking at hospitals and options. Me: 35 year old FTM, a busy city banker living in London, and a constant worrier. My DH: French guy, car fanatic, best husband ever. Our baby boy: Due on 17 April, currently 37 weeks. I can't believe it - I made it to full term!!!! Last measurement: 3150 gs at 37+1! This is going to be a big baby
Hello everyone! Expecting baby #2 on April 11th! Got the faintest BFP on July 27th. Ultrasound this past Wednesday confirmed that there is one sticky little bean in the right spot Im 32, DH is 33 and we live in North Jersey with DD1 who is 15 months old. In the beginning of that pregnancy, I was in and out of the May 2015 board, but the drama was out of control. Hoping the April 2017 board is much different congrats to everyone.... Looking forward to sharing this journey with you!
Congratulations to everyone here! I'm Christina and my DH have been married for 5 years August 20th. We've never stopped pregnancy from happening but when something hadn't happened by 2014, we looked into health issues. Turned out due to irregularities, I had built up endometrial hyperplasia and had to go on DEPO for 6 months to remove it and an additional six months of birth control pills to avoid the spotting and potential buildup after. We then tried naturally in 2015 and nothing happened again. In January, I was tested and found out I had insulin resistant PCOS and I was put on Metformin. After a few months on that, they decided Clomid might be an option. I started my first round of Clomid July 2nd, took an Ovidrel shot on July 11th after finding three follicles (two of which were mature enough to ovulate) and by the 14th, I had ovulated on my left ovary. I got my BFP on August first and my first OB appointment was August 3rd. All the blood work has been done, an appointment with an hematologist is scheduled on the 24th (elevated platelets and history of in prior of labs), hospital tours are scheduled after the first ultrasound on the 29th and morning sickness officially started this Thursday.
Hi, all! This is my third pregnancy, and my husband and I have two sons (ages 1 and 2.75). I really wanted our kids to be close in age, but now I'm feeling apprehensive. Ha! We live in NC, near both of our families. My 30th birthday is in April, so that will be interesting as baby's due date approaches. I'm guessing baby will be due mid to late April.
Hiiii!!! STM EDD 4/13. BFP 7/29. PGAL brain after a recent early loss. Prev active on TB in my first BMB. I feel so honored to have passed my probation period! I like to garden and gif (as soon as I remember how).
Hi Ladies! I'm 35, due with my 2nd on April 2nd. 7w today. My DS is 2. I'm a vet of the July14BMB. My first u/s is tomorrow, FX for a healthy little heartbeat!
Hi Everyone! DH and I are 35 and excited to give our 2 year old DS a baby sister or brother! A little overwhelmed to think of life with two littles, but very excited. EDD is April 23rd.
Hello everyone Just got my BFP yesterday on 13DPO. I had been a poster on TTGP since March but have became more of a lurker over the last couple monthd. According to FF my EDD is 4/23. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
August 4th, I took a test at 3W3D and it was positive. I didn't believe it so I took three more over the following days. My EDD is April 18th. I still am not believing it. I have two kids, 10 and just shy of 5. I have a 12yo step son as well and have been with my SO for 3 years. I'm working shift work and in school, so this was a surprise o.O
Pregnancy # 6 4 missed chances 2 loving children 1 on the way
Hello everyone. This is my second time around. My daughter, Kaitlyn was born Christmas Day 2012. My husband and I are both 35, been married for 5 years, and are both teachers. My EDD is April 11, 2017 as far as I can tell. I'm very cautious about this pregnancy because with my first, I developed gestational diabetes and after my daughter was born, it turned into Type 1. I now wear an insulin pump and controlling blood sugar while pregnant is extremely difficult!. I've already seen my endocrinologist, but my first appointment with my OBGYN is September 6.
Hi everyone! This will be my second child. My daughter was born in December 2014, so she'll be 2 when this LO is born. I was marginally active under a different username in D14 before the mass exodus of 2015 (that's what I call it in my head). I'm a high school teacher so I'm gearing up for the school year and not looking forward to morning sickness at the same time! I'm hoping to have a VBAC and to have an easier time nursing this time around. Looking forward to talking to you all!
Hello April 17! My girl Ariel is doing a pretty good job demonstrating how excited I am to be here! I'm 32, DH, is 39, and DD is 17 months. BFP for #2 was confirmed with a digital today and due date is 4/25! I participated briefly in my previous BMB before the Great Exodus so I am excited to see how our board grows over these next few months!
Re: ***INTRO & EDD THREAD***
Hello ladies! My husband and I are both 28, we were married in September of 2015 and have been TTC ever since. We had a CP in Nov of 2015, then a MC at 8wks (baby measured 6) in March.

Im 31(32 in a few months) and my husband is 37, we got married in 2012 and are the proud parents of a DD (14months) and a furry mutt (4years).
This will be baby #2 for us and if my math is correct it is somewhere between April 11 to April 17.
I apologize ahead of time if I am not as active as most, I use to be here for June 2015 but couldnt handle the drama and left.
I had my positive ptegnancy test on July 29th and have been in shock since... a happy shock! Nice to meet you all!
This is our first and I'm having a really hard time feeling excited when I'm just so nervous. My first appointment isn't until September 6th. Does anyone have any tips for relaxing between the period of time when you find out and your first appointment? I miss wine already.
I'm excited to get to know you all!

Baby #2 due April 2017
