I'm with @books&icecream and @AllyTheKid - Not circumcising. I was anti all along, but left it to DH. After watching Elephant in the Hospital he decided against it too. Just doesn't seem necessary, but to each their own.
We circumcised DS1 and will circumcise DS2. We really didn't debate it and I really let DH decide- as I don't have male parts.
However- any first time moms that are circumsizing- it does look very ugly right after. And make sure you have aquaphor or vasaline for when you go home! Also once it heals, make sure you pull the shaft of his penis down and clean under the head of his penis. It can get stuck together. You want to see the purplish ring around the bottom of the head. We had to do this for a few months. Our pedi had to pull a little hard at one of DS1s appointments to unstick it. So thought I would let y'all know since I don't remember anyone telling me this!
My pregnancy brain has been pretty real and I forgot my prenatal but your post reminded me @annabenanna, thanks!
Shit got realer today when I laid down to rest for a few minutes and when I tried to roll over to get out of bed I pulled a muscle or had RLP on the right side of my stomach so bad it brought me to tears. I couldn't get out of bed by myself, and had to wait for my husband to get home from work and help me up. Beached whale status!
Just to add to what @serenaxo84 said, I don't have a boy but my best friend does and that absolutely happened to him. She started to notice it around 9 months (the head sticking to the shaft) luckily her ped. was able to get it unstuck in the office (although she said he screamed) and she was putting Vaseline on it everyday and just in July at 15 months, it got stuck again and this time she had to take him to see someone else and it was almost bad enough that they were going to send her to the er. Luckily, they got it unstuck but now every single time she changes his diaper, she puts a LOT of Vaseline down there.
please don't take this as a don't circumcise position, since I don't have a son and won't this time around either, but neither her or her husband knew it was a possibility and it could have gotten worse. So just keep checking!!
***holy use of the word 'and' batman! But I'm too lazy to edit so sorry!
Shit just got real yesterday when I went to see my OB and he said that the baby is already head down and probably won´t move from that spot. I´m 30w+3.
football is on. and my doctor told me she's pulling me from work in 4-5 weeks. WHA?????
Why is that? What do you do for work?
Seriously. I may not want your job, but can you put me in touch with your OB? ETA- Not to be glib though. I realized my comment may be insensitive. I hope she's just pulling you so you can rest and take it easy, not because of anything serious.

No kidding. During my last pregnancy, my job was very physical, outside in the heat, on my feet 40 hours a week, doing lots of manual labor. I thought surely he's not going to want me to work the whole pregnancy. I worked up until 6 days before he was born and that's just because I gave up. Wah! I love my doctor but a little sympathy would've been nice.
Had our biweekly appointment yesterday-- baby's head is down and he is in the right position.. His little butt is sticking out of my right side according to my midwife! I keep rubbing his little bum now.
I'm not sure how helpful or true this advice has been, but my doula and midwives recommended a lot of "Belly Down" time... So I usually color or do a puzzle or even 10 minutes of yoga (downward dog, cat/cow position) for 10 min 3x a day.. Seems to have flipped him from transverse to head down!

I tried some stuff on spinngingbabies.com with my first and he never budged! And I had an anterior placenta with a SCH early on in the pregnancy so we opted to not try and flip him. This time my placenta previa is causing the babe to be breech. So I'm not going to even attempt to try and change his position. It doesn't matter much in the grand scheme of things!
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
I work for cps and we do field work, aaaand I started off extremely overweight and while I haven't gained anything the pressure is a lot on my insides and she's worried. and I have lupus. but I'm fine I just won't argue being taken out of work 2 weeks earlier than planned.
@serenaxo84 I know you said you tried some things before but...did you try that thing where they burn something and touch it to your toes? It sounded odd to me but my doctor said out of a lot of techniques that don't work, that one has some validity. She also said sometimes babies flip while the mother was in labor too though.
And, heyyy labor buddy!
ETA: that technique is apparently called moxibustion
@AllyTheKid I just opened this thread and it was at the post where you talked last week about your mucus glob and BH. How have you been feeling since? Any more scares?
@LauraPCOS No more scares m'lady, and thank you for asking you sweetheart you I just needed to up my water intake, and am not used to being as active as I was that day is all! Been doing great since
@uponastar16 hey hey hey! I've been meaning to send you a message!
and no, I didn't try that! But that is interesting! We got to the point where it just felt like my baby was supposed to be breech and that moving him might be bad for him. And now that this baby is in the same exact spot I kinda wonder if maybe my uterus is shapped funny or something!
@ignoscemihi good choice!!! I love that stroller! We have a baby jogger City mini GT and absolutely love it! I'm sorry for not knowing but are you having twins or do you already have a toddler? Just asking because I'm debating the double stroller but think it might be a waste of $$ for my toddler.
@serenaxo84 We have a 2 and 1/3 year old. He still rides in the stroller a lot (I walk most places because I hate driving), so it's worth it for us, but we also got a glider board for when he grows out of the stroller.
SO finally felt Kinzley kick. We just set up her crib, got her rock and play ready for his gaming room, put together all her little gear. Our shower is 1 month away but I'm so excited I just want to buy everything now.
Edit because spelling.

Left my parents after a weekend with them today and realized the next trip we have planned to see them is December, and we will have our son with us!! Now it's getting real!

@ignoscemihi okay! Yours are a little younger. My LO turns 3 next week. We typically only use the stroller for the beach and trips to places which isn't often since DH and I work full time and our weekends are usually filled with friends/family events. I might try the glider board for the GT and then decide if it's worth purchasing.
i was also debating on the side by city city mini double... But I just love how yours can be a one seater or a two seater!
I realized I'll be induced in 4-6 weeks or theoretically could have the baby at any time, and there's still a shit ton of stuff to get done. I just don't feel ready - is this one of those things that no one ever feels ready for, or you usually get it together then it's hurry up and wait? Everything from important (finding/deciding on the pediatrician and daycare, opening the stroller and carseat box) to seemingly minor (pedicure and haircut, nursery wall decor to be put up) things still aren't done Omg lists and energy need to make their way into my life ASAP!
I've joked around that this baby could really come any time, and today I woke up from a nap and for the first time I thought - "OH MY GOD. WHAT IF THIS BABY CAME TODAY?! I AM SO UNPREPARED." Like, I have plans tomorrow and work all week and no bag packed and the thought of going into labor like NOW pretty much gave me a panic attack. Guess who's bag is now packed? THIS GIRL'S!
Realizing I had my last TWO kids at 35 weeks and I'm 31 this week, this scares me ! I was singing my kids to sleep, and they all have their own lullabies and now I'm thinking that I'm going to be singing a new one soon to another baby ! Errrkkkk, put the brakes on I have so much to do !
