    1. How far along are you? 8 Weeks 5 Days

    2. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
My OBGYN scheduled an appointment for me on the 10th. May or may not keep my appointment next week on the 16th. So I’m nervously waiting for that US appointment. I honestly will just be relieved to know one way or another at this point on viability.

    3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
    Nothing at the moment.

    4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Hmmm. I’m going to go with cheese. Of course, I am wanting some mac & cheese right now, so that might be the key to my answer at the moment.

ETA: @Spartanrd4 Food twins today it seems! Congrats on making it past your previous loss date! I know that doesn't alleviate all of your worry, but I'm sure it does make you feel a little better. :)

  • @BelcherEars another cheese lover! I think for me its genetic...I have dutch heritage and we are known for our gouda. When DH and I went to Amsterdam last year, we found this store that literally sold like at least 100 different kinds of gouda. It was hard to not buy the whole store!

  • 1. How far along are you? 8 weeks 4 days

    2. Next milestone you are looking forward to? NIPT testing at 10 weeks and of course 12 week visit on September 1st.

    3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I wish there was a way to check on LO between appointments. I have considered buying a doppler, but I might drive myself crazy with it.

    4. GTKY? I'm going to say pizza! I could eat it any time!!

@AverageAsh I am usually a steak lover too, but that has been my #1 aversion during this pregnancy. It makes me sad lol

    Edited for spelling
  • @allysondunn2 I thought about getting a Doppler as well but my uterus is tilted and only on my left side so I would probably drive myself insane! I wish there was a way to check as well.

    2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? I have an appointment Friday. As always, looking forward to making sure things are on track.

    3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: PGAL brain seems to hit me when I am getting close to a Dr. appointment, making me super anxious that I'm going to find out something is wrong.

On a plus side, we told some more of my husband's family about the baby while we were all together camping this weekend. His grandma was really excited and his aunt cried.

    4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? I'm with all of you who said potatoes; hash browns, french fries, mashed potatoes, all of the above! Also, cheese is a close second.

  • Are any of you working out? I wanted to stay active during my pregnancy but also wanted to wait until second trimester. Just wondered if anyone else was already working out and what you were doing for fitness
  • 1. How far along are you? 10w5d, due March 1st

    2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? NT scan on the 22nd

    3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm really trying  to stay positive, but every so often that doubt creeps in. I had a terrible dream the other day about going for my next US appointment not going well and it was really upsetting. I've also made a decision to stay in a positive place and have confidence that this baby is going to stay here. The good news is that this is the longest I've ever been pregnant!

    4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Hm.....I would have to pick Pasta. I loveee pasta

  • @mcdonald-bailey I usually exercise 3-4 times a week (jogging, 2-3 mile walks, yoga, Zumba, etc.) Since getting pregnant, I've limited myself to long walks instead. Even then, I get easily winded and I get a stitch in my side. My abdomen also starts feeling a little tender and heavy too (?) which makes me uncomfortable. I even felt like this after standing on my feet 3 straight hours at a concert on Friday. To compensate, I try to eat healthy and am just listening to my body for now.
  • Yay for a good u/s @DaniBanani16

  • @mcdonald-bailey I'm still working out. Lower intensity cardio and strength training. I've just lowered the amount of weight that I use. My workouts are definitely happening less often due to nausea and fatigue.
  • I had been just walking the past two weeks but last night I went to the gym for a workout. My weights are much lower than what I would do normally and I'm not doing anything with impact. After working out last night I've felt the best I've felt in a while... which of course has me worried now! LOL...

    2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Getting past the 18 week mark when we lost our little boy.

    3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Feeling excited for my scan and genetic counseling appt this coming Monday!

    4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Pizza!

  • @mcdonald-bailey I'm envious of anyone who can work out at this stage. Just the thought of walking my dog is too much for me right now. I really want to have a fit and healthy pregnancy, but I don't think I've ever felt more unhealthy in my life. Second trimester, where are you?

  • 1. How far along are you?  9w2d

    2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? hitting 9w was a milestone for us...so now just waiting for our appointment next week...another ultrasound, seeing the heartbeat and getting our official due date

    3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: ready to have my appetite back

    2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Next appointment in 3 weeks.

    3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: So, my midwife's office called the other to say they scheduled my 18w anatomy scan in October already. My first thought was, if something happens will I have to unschedule it? Ugh, I hate PGAL brain.

    4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? I think I'll go with all types of breads.

  • 1. How far along are you? 7 weeks, 1 day

    2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? 1st OB appointment on the 24th

    3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm currently on hiatus from the TV show I work on, so I am trying to fill my days with things to keep me busy and not worrying. I lost my daughter on her due date in 2012 and even though I now have a wonderful son who is 2, all the fears and emotions came flooding back when I found out I was pregnant again. I should be less anxious once I can feel the baby moving, but that isn't for awhile!

    4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Peanut butter. Don't get me wrong, I adore cheese. All cheeses. Especially the raw, super-soft cheeses we aren't allowed to eat right now. Peanut butter, however, is simply divine straight from the jar as well as cooked into things (peanut butter cookies!).

@mcdonald-bailey I was training for a 10K when I found out I was pregnant. In my previous pregnancies, my doctor has said to keep my heart rate under 140 but other than that, no restrictions. I row, do the elliptical, jog very slowly, and do some weight training. It definitely helps you get back in shape after the baby arrives!
  • 1. How far along? 6 weeks and 5/6 days.

    2. Next milestone: Tomorrow, the big 7 week ultra sound for heartbeat. I have been agonizing and stressing this all week. Googling percentage chance of 2 miscarriages in a row after 2 consequetive healthy live births... Driving myself crazy. I've been praying for a heartbeat tomorrow. Next milestone, heartbeat on the Doppler at 10 weeks 0 days- if I get past there I'm past my old loss date. I'm really crushing tomorrow though, praying no spotting has really meant I am ok and baby is alive in there.

    3. GTKY: anyone food for the rest of my life? That's hard... I guess I second breads. Doesn't hurt my stomach, easy to digest, really tasty. Never get sick of it ever!

I was was also going to do half marathons in the fall, best season for it, but now I'll be sticking to 5k's and jogging. Totally fine with it as long as baby is ok.
  • @MrsBinPA I'm so glad your treatment plan is hopefully working and you're moving right along through the weeks with ease! (PgAL brain does enough wonders without extra stress!) Can't wait to AW your US!
  • Yay for good news @MrsBinPA!! Looks like the voodoo may be working! ;)
