2. Next milestone you're looking forward to?

Re: PGAL Check In 8/8
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? NT scan at 12 weeks
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: This is the longest I have ever been pregnant! I am past my loss date and starting to feel a little bit more positive but then the PGAL brain creeps back in from time to time. I am still having pregnancy symptoms and my pants are now feeling tighter- I can't even fit into the ones anymore that don't have stretch to them. Guess I will have to bust out the belly band for my work pants.
I had my first OB appointment today- not much was done because I already had my ultrasound 2 weeks ago and everything looked good. She didn't try and do the doppler to hear the HB because she thought it was too early so guess we will wait until my next scan to see how my little spartan is doing- she gave me a referral to genetics so I will have to make an appointment. I will go back to the doctor in 4 weeks.
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? I love cheese!! Specifically my favorite food item involving cheese is Macaroni and cheese, I could literally eat it every day. Not the most healthy I know but it is sooooo good!!
1. How far along are you? 8 Weeks 5 Days
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? My OBGYN scheduled an appointment for me on the 10th. May or may not keep my appointment next week on the 16th. So I’m nervously waiting for that US appointment. I honestly will just be relieved to know one way or another at this point on viability.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: Nothing at the moment.
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Hmmm. I’m going to go with cheese. Of course, I am wanting some mac & cheese right now, so that might be the key to my answer at the moment.
ETA: @Spartanrd4 Food twins today it seems! Congrats on making it past your previous loss date! I know that doesn't alleviate all of your worry, but I'm sure it does make you feel a little better.

I'm 10 weeks and some change:)
I'm looking forward to getting my doppler from my cousin, hopefully tonight! I loved that sucker with Lu.
I guess my rant is that I am tired of being borderline crippled by nausea. I'm barfy if I'm hungry, I'm barfy if I eat. There's no winning:( Hoping it will pass soon!
I would normally say that I would eat steak forever and ever but meat is doing me dirty lately so... carbs? Lol.

1. How far along are you? 7 weeks 5 days
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? My 1st appointment with the high risk doctor on August 18th. I'll be 9 weeks 1 day.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm really trying to keep knowledge of my pregnancy limited to certain people but two weeks ago my co-worker asked if I had any 'news' to share. Of course I lied through my teeth but I just hate when people ask questions like that. She knows my history and knew about my testing this past spring for recurring loss so you'd think maybe she wouldn't ask these questions. Last summer I was late to work and she asked if I was late coming from an OB appointment and I said no I'm coming from an ultrasound and I had another m/c. You would think people would learn. I feel like I'm being watched... Grrrr...
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Potatoes... you can eat them so many different ways!

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Our 9 week ultrasound on 8/24
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I am tired of feeling anxious and scared all the time that something will go wrong! The panic I feel every time I go to the bathroom or experience cramping is threatening to rob me of the joy of this pregnancy. Can't wait to feel "safe".
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Mac and cheese!
2. Next milestone you are looking forward to? NIPT testing at 10 weeks and of course 12 week visit on September 1st.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I wish there was a way to check on LO between appointments. I have considered buying a doppler, but I might drive myself crazy with it.
4. GTKY? I'm going to say pizza! I could eat it any time!!
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? NT scan towards end of month which will also be when I get into 2nd tri
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: initially I had anxiety about this pregnancy but all of a sudden I became extremely positive about it. I don't even have any pregnancy symptoms except that I want to eat and sleep all the time but I'm still calm about it. I wasn't going to tell anyone I was pregnant and now I completely changed my view and even thought about possibly blogging my PGAL journey.
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Pizza maybe
Edited for spelling
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? My ultrasound on the 15th. I'm dying for it to get here! I have a regular OB check up today, but there's nothing too exciting about that. I'm still confused as to why they want to see me again before I've even had an ultrasound.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: My feelings change from hour to hour. At times I feel confident that there's life inside me. The nausea and fatigue are hard to ignore. But then I fall into a hole of thinking, "I feel a little better than I did yesterday. Am I sick enough? I didn't have to get up to pee last night. Am I still pregnant?" It never ends, and I just want confirmation that everything is okay.
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Count me in as a fellow cheese lover, @Spartanrd4 & @BelcherEars! It really is one of my life's passions. But if I had to choose one meal to eat for the rest of my life, it would probably be sandwiches. They have all the food groups, and the combination possibilities are endless. Plus, bread.
Me: 29, DH: 34
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? OMG. I'm 9 weeks tomorrow.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I started therapy last week, and I am so grateful that I initiated getting help! We even discussed starting a post-partum plan when I get closer to term, so that we can start prompt intervetion in the event I end up suffering from PPD. I'm a big planner, and knowing we can be proactive is very reassuring!
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? I need a coin with potatoes on one side and cheese on the other and then flip it to determine which one, because I can't choose between the two on my own!

Next milestone you are looking forward to? 13 week appt on 8/24! It will be the longest I've ever been pregnant and I'm praying that I'm not just waiting for the worst until then.
Rants/Raves/Randoms: I totally understand you all! So worried all the time...I decided I won't let myself carry a mega pad in my purse"just in case". I'm doing better emotionally though, I keep telling myself "I'm pregnant until someone tells me otherwise". Our lost EDD is this Thursday, 8/11, so DH and I (while on our anniversary trip) plan to memorialize Bean the first by saying Kaddish (a Jewish prayer traditionally said after a death). It will be a hard day but glad to be away from home in a beautiful setting.
GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Can I say chicken and potatoes? You can just do so much with them and I always crave comfort food.
For some reason this pregnancy, Mac and cheese is the ONE thing that sounds good but I can never actually eat! So annoying! Once I'm out of the first trimester I'll probably eat it every day lol

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? My weekly check at the RE on Thursday.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: All my previous pregnancies have had development stop between 5+6 and 6+3 so this week's appointment is REALLY important and stressful for me. I wish it was sooner. I have an appointment tonight and work in the office the next two days, so I think the time will go relatively quickly form here on out until then. At least that is how last week was. Monday was dragging & then before I new it it was Thursday. I still don't have many symptoms and feel overall well. Just constant indigestion & hunger, sore boobs, and the bizarre dreams + insomnia. I feel a little sluggish sometimes but by no means would I call it serious fatigue. I have always had concerns about symptoms not escalating & this time is no different. I feel like I would take comfort in the symptoms if I had them. RPL PGAL just sucks.
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? This is SO hard. I love all the food. I am going to go with sushi though. Nom Nom. Maybe my opinion is biased by the fact that I am avoiding (or at least limiting...i haven't decided yet) it. My next choice would probably be pizza.

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? I have an appointment Friday. As always, looking forward to making sure things are on track.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: PGAL brain seems to hit me when I am getting close to a Dr. appointment, making me super anxious that I'm going to find out something is wrong.
On a plus side, we told some more of my husband's family about the baby while we were all together camping this weekend. His grandma was really excited and his aunt cried.
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? I'm with all of you who said potatoes; hash browns, french fries, mashed potatoes, all of the above! Also, cheese is a close second.
Baby Boy: coming March 2017
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? This morning I FINALLY had my first ultrasound!! I literally cried at seeing a healthy baby measuring (mostly) on schedule and hearing that heartbeat. But naturally my PGAL brain keeps pipping in to remind me that I saw my baby and its heartbeat in my last pregnancy too and two weeks later I miscarried. I so desperately want to make it to 12 weeks....
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: My DH and best friend both offered to go to my appointment with me today, but over the weekend I convinced myself I was having a miscarriage and I refused to let either of them come. When I heard that heartbeat today I was so distraught that I made DH miss that...
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Pizza. Omg I love pizza so freaking much.

3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm really trying to stay positive, but every so often that doubt creeps in. I had a terrible dream the other day about going for my next US appointment not going well and it was really upsetting. I've also made a decision to stay in a positive place and have confidence that this baby is going to stay here. The good news is that this is the longest I've ever been pregnant!
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Hm.....I would have to pick Pasta. I loveee pasta

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to?
I'm having a hard time looking forward to milestones... always holding my breath wondering if I'm still pregnant. But I suppose I'm looking forward to finding out the sex!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
Rant: I have made it very clear to my OB office that it's important for me to not know my weight. To make sure, I stand on the scale backwards at each visit and remind the person weighing me "Don't tell me my weight!" They always oblige, BUT THEN they write it down at the top of my file in plain view and make zero attempt to shield it from my vision. I'm going to need to work with them to figure out a way to get everyone on the same page with this!
Rave: My OB has a little hand-held ultrasound machine, so I get to see baby at every visit if I want!
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Normally, I'd probably say pizza. But right now I can't even think about pizza without wanting to barf. So...ummm...toast? Lol
Me: 29, DH: 34
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? hitting 9w was a milestone for us...so now just waiting for our appointment next week...another ultrasound, seeing the heartbeat and getting our official due date
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: ready to have my appetite back
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? that's a tough one....pizza and Mexican are high on the list
EP: 2.17.2016

2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? Next appointment in 3 weeks.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: So, my midwife's office called the other to say they scheduled my 18w anatomy scan in October already. My first thought was, if something happens will I have to unschedule it? Ugh, I hate PGAL brain.
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? I think I'll go with all types of breads.
2. Next milestone you're looking forward to? 1st OB appointment on the 24th
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I'm currently on hiatus from the TV show I work on, so I am trying to fill my days with things to keep me busy and not worrying. I lost my daughter on her due date in 2012 and even though I now have a wonderful son who is 2, all the fears and emotions came flooding back when I found out I was pregnant again. I should be less anxious once I can feel the baby moving, but that isn't for awhile!
4. GTKY: If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Peanut butter. Don't get me wrong, I adore cheese. All cheeses. Especially the raw, super-soft cheeses we aren't allowed to eat right now. Peanut butter, however, is simply divine straight from the jar as well as cooked into things (peanut butter cookies!).
@mcdonald-bailey I was training for a 10K when I found out I was pregnant. In my previous pregnancies, my doctor has said to keep my heart rate under 140 but other than that, no restrictions. I row, do the elliptical, jog very slowly, and do some weight training. It definitely helps you get back in shape after the baby arrives!
2. Next milestone: Tomorrow, the big 7 week ultra sound for heartbeat. I have been agonizing and stressing this all week. Googling percentage chance of 2 miscarriages in a row after 2 consequetive healthy live births... Driving myself crazy. I've been praying for a heartbeat tomorrow. Next milestone, heartbeat on the Doppler at 10 weeks 0 days- if I get past there I'm past my old loss date. I'm really crushing tomorrow though, praying no spotting has really meant I am ok and baby is alive in there.
3. GTKY: anyone food for the rest of my life? That's hard... I guess I second breads. Doesn't hurt my stomach, easy to digest, really tasty. Never get sick of it ever!
I was was also going to do half marathons in the fall, best season for it, but now I'll be sticking to 5k's and jogging. Totally fine with it as long as baby is ok.
I had my weekly RE check this AM. Nugget's development from last week is right on target. Still measuring a few days ahead 7+4 (I'm really 7+1). HR was 150! I'll AW my US in a bit.
I still have RPL PGAL anxiety but I am the most pregnant I have ever been. It appears that my treatment plan is actually working which give me hope that even if this one has a genetic abnormality uncovered I will be able to stay pregnant. I go back weekly until probably week 9 or 10 and then I go to the OB. Looking forward to my NIPT.
