Testing: BFN today at 8DPO. I am a crazy person, I know.
R/R: My kids brought lovely sicknesses home from daycare, so I have an awful cold and pukey feeling. Ugh.
CS/Q: Nope! I'm past the point in my cycle when my temp usually starts to drop pre-AF. So, is nothing else, at least my LP is probably getting a little longer.
Testing: Firm and Final answer: Saturday morning on 10dpo. MH doesn't want me to test until the morning on my hcg blood work next Tuesday. Pshhhh. Yeah, okay.
R/R: MH was telling me last night about something cute that our almost 1 year old nephew did yesterday. After he was done telling me, he said, I really want a baby. It broke my heart. I told him I was trying, but he said 'we're trying! It will happen!' He's so optimistic. I love that about him.

R/R: I'm on my way to a dentist appt before work. I'm one of those weird people who enjoys going to the dentist. My mouth always feels so clean and the people in my dentists office are so great!
Y'all I really need to find some motivation in my life. Motivation to clean, motivation to go grocery shopping and then to cook, motivation to work out. I'm not sure why, but I feel like my life just stopped. I've been SUPER lazy lately and I need to snap out of it. But now, everything has piled up for so long that I'm avoiding it because it's "a lot" to do...
CS/Q: Nada...
GTKY: What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self?
Hmm....I'm not sure. I think I've always had a level head and am happy with where I'm at in my life (other than the rant above) and how I've gotten here. I think I would say to study finance or accounting in college. I chose communications because it was the "easy" major and I just wanted to get in, get out, and move on. But I really love money and accounting, luckily I happened to stumble into that field anyways, but it would be nice with that extra knowledge.
GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self?
Ugh, I feel like I have so many. Stop worrying so much about what other people think about you, be more serious about school, save more money. But I think the biggest one goes along with @Sevenn, that it is not fair to myself to always put everyone else's happiness before my own.
@KirstinH88 I feel the same way lately... not sure what to do about it either. But I have also been procrastinating about going to the dentist, and I, too, love going, for all the same reasons! lol <img title="Image: https://memecrunch.com/meme/1X3JE/weirdo-alert/image.png" src="https://memecrunch.com/meme/1X3JE/weirdo-alert/image.png" alt="" height="387" width="330"> Actually, I need to start seeing a new dentist since we moved, and that's also been holding me back (in my own mind), so I'm hoping I like the new place as much as I loved the last one...
@sevenn Your chart looks great! Don't worry about that one open circle, because you were tracking all those other signs. Even if it might not have been QUITE so high, I'm sure it still would have been elevated enough to give you CH. FF weighs those open circles in there when assigning CH, so don't worry! It's all good! :)
FX @BusinessWife! I am sorry @shstephenson Month/Cycle 1/1 CD26/12dpo Testing: all BFN R/R: pretty sure I am out I know have no right to be sad, first cycle and all, but I am sad. Stupid identical as last times symptoms played on my emotions. Gtky: *to me as a young mom* you're doing better than you think.
After raving about my dentist office...It takes a lot of work to get into my appts. Early in the morning so I don't miss much work. I have to wake up early, get my son up and to my MILs early. And then ride the train around the city (with a transfer). Well I get there and the lady who does my cleaning tells me that the insurance paid my last cleaning 4 months ago (we didn't think they would), so this one wouldn't be paid for. My insurance covers a cleaning every 6 months but they have me on a 3-4 month cleaning schedule because my gums are not the best. Well, I decided that I didn't want to pay out of pocket $117 for the cleaning, so I just rescheduled for 2 months from now. The lady said she should have called yesterday, and gave me a Starbucks gift card for my "troubles," but (UO) I don't like coffee. Or anything of the sort.
@Brooklyngirl6 I'm a school speech therapist. Today is my last day of freedom, teacher's start back tomorrow. When do you go back?
@sevenn I think your chart is fine, especially since the following two temps are up and you got a positive OPK the night before it went up.
Month/Cycle: 16/15
CD/DPO: 20/7
Timing: -3, -1, +1
Testing: Probably not. Although my husband is sure we are pregnant this cycle.
R/R: My drs. appointment yesterday was actual more productive than I expected. I already said this in IF check-in, but my doc ordered 8 different blood tests to check all my hormone levels and referred me to a gynecologist who will go over the results with me next week. Next step is a SA for DH.
CS/Q: My chart's looking okay.
GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? Get out of your shell during college. You will never have the opportunities available to you on campus again, take advantage of them.

R/R: So last night was the 3rd night in a row I fell asleep without the help of a sleep aid or anything. I have the worst insomnia so that's a huge accomplishment for me. I'm trying meditation and relaxing techniques. Going for a fourth natural sleep night later!
CS/Q: None today.
GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? Don't let anyone tell you that you're not beautiful and never let anyone treat you like an option.
R/R: Guys, I'm so totally amped. For the first time since I started charting/temping in April, I got solid line CH!!! WHATTTTTTT!! It makes me feel so accomplished. I don't even care what happens this cycle (lie: I totally do) it's already a success. Also on the plus, as mentioned above, we had some stellar timing (for us). DH works nights, I work days, I pull into our parking lot as he is backing out. So as some of you know all too well, it can make FW a little frustrating. Adding in the grief train we've both been riding lately for MIL, well it's nothing short of a miracle that we were even able to get it in once during FW, no less 3 times. So much excitement over here!!
CS/Q: nopppppe
GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? In my packing spree on Monday, I came across a few journal pages from Aug 1999 (16 years old). So much teenage angst for no reason. But my favorite was 'I don't think I'm going to do Spring track this year. I want to work at Target. It just looks like so much fun.' I never got to live my dream and work at Target. My mother probably didn't allow that. I can't remember but I probably spent another year finishing last in the 800 because I was too lazy to run the two mile which I would've excelled at. Who wants to run 8 laps around a track when you can do 2 and be done. Who cares if you are the slowest human with the shortest legs?
Your mother cannot read your mind, she does not know everything, and she is not as scary as you think (well she's a little scary), so go have a couple of beers, flirt with some boys, and let go a little. She most likely will never find out. And no matter what happens she's going to be so proud of you. PS I'm pretty sure she was a way worse teenager than you could ever be.
Testing: BFN this morning- expecting AF either today or tomorrow :-(
R/R: just pissed that I know I'm out this month
CS/Q:
GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? 1) dont over pluck your eyebrows!!! 2) what happens in high school will not matter to you as an adult!
@shstephenson I think I'm going to be joining you... Felt like I woke up to CD1 cramping but no proof yet so I'll probably be out in a couple of hours.
Month/Cycle: 1/1
CD/DPO: 29/14ish
Timing: hmmm now I'm confused
Testing: AF cramping so no
R/R: went to bed and woke up to AF cramps. I know I'm out which its only out first try but I still have all the anxieties and wish I wouldn't have waited the three months after stopping BC to start trying.
CS/Q:
GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? Generally I don't have any major regrets either @KirstinH88 . But I might've went back and made it very clear to my little sister not to announce my 1st pregnancy on social media before I got to tell everyone and then when I did I got no excitement back in anyone's reactions cuz they already knew!
R/R: The amount of times I convince myself I'm out and that it's not possible followed by "well maybe" and "think positively" in a 24hr span....is RIDICULOUS lol Also, to the ladies who have bought diapers and maternity clothes...I bought a onesie yesterday that I want to give to DH when the time comes, and promptly followed that up with a minor anxiety attack and had to go meditate lol So, currently, the non-scientific reasons I can't possibly be knocked up are: -2 of DH's sisters are already KU, how could there be 3 pg women in the family? -someone in my FB chronic illness group is KU, there can't be more than one in the group at a time -I bought a onesie and *jinxed* myself
CS/Q: my temps are all above the cover line but it still is stressing me out a bit that they're low and not these mountainous peaks I seem to see everywhere
GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? Love yourself. You are beautiful and stronger than you know. YOU ARE ENOUGH.
I'm sorry for all of the BFN's this morning. Stupid hump day.
@BusinessWife Totally broke my heart too lol! I also hear you about the wishy-washy I am, I'm not feeling. I keep reminding myself that the majority of people don't implant until 9dpo, even 10dpo. So there is hope lady!!
@Dilynne 10dpo could still be early to test! Don't give up hope yet!
@KirstinH88 Even the thought of the dentist gives me the shivers lol. The gritty texture of the toothpaste is. the. worst.
@momomsess You have every right to be sad. First cycle, or 10th. It doesn't matter. We completely understand the let down.
@krisnicole23 Yay for easy sleep!! And no sleep aids! Sleep aids always make me groggy, so I know how annoying having to take them can be!
@berg Awesome positivity lady!! That's the way to get through the TWW
@rainbowturtles No need to respond if you don't feel comfortable, just curious about the chronic illness. I was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis in 2012.
@mrsdaddario sorry about your MS, that's awful I have a connective tissue disorder which they think is hypermobility type ehlers-danlos with some classical characteristics. Mine affects my joints a lot and causes a lot of pain and so far only subluxations, not full dislocations, but it also affects my bowels, bladder, circulatory system, etc. I also have celiac disease, which is autoimmune. All super frustrating!
Way too many BFN's today guys... So sorry for all of you with BFNs and/or impending CD1.
@sevenn I agree with what other PPs have been saying. Your other signs also lead to O as well!
@BusinessWife as far as the procrastinating and being lazy goes, I think I just need to suck it up. Do one chore tonight after work. If I can accomplish SOMETHING, then maybe it will give me the boost I need to keep it going. Finding a good, welcoming dentist can be hard, so Fx for you!
@MandyBeeSLP Fx that your test results come back normal. Or maybe not normal, so then you can start some sort of treatment? Either way, hopefully this will lead you to a BFP. Also, I'm not a big fan of pastries either. I may save it for a hot chocolate once winter rolls around.
@berg Yay! Glad to see you over here and with some good timing!
@bswishe4 I'm sorry that you don't feel like this is your cycle. You're only 5 days in the TWW, keep up hope! -1 timing is not horrible.
@rainbowturtles That sounds very painful! (I had to Google it lol). And celiac on top of that! My best friend has celiac, bad. Very, very sensitive. She'll get sick from GF foods just touching a surface that non-GF food's have been prepared on. So she's hyper vigilant when it comes to where/what she eats. So I understand all about that. Is there medication you take for your other issues?
@mrsdaddario yes, unfortunately my celiac is very bad, too....I really didn't want to believe it, but I got glutened from my SHAMPOO a couple months ago (wheat protein in it). I had scalp sores and massive headaches and my hair was falling out by the handful but I thought it might be stress from moving but then on a whim I checked my shampoo ingredients and lo and behold things started getting better once I switched...unbelievable! It also really scares me because if you get accidentally glutened while pregnant it can cause miscarriage A lot of people don't understand the severity, so thank you for understanding
As for the other issues, they can only treat the symptoms, and I've tried all sorts of meds and the only ones that helped at all without major side effects were opiates, and trying to get those prescribed here is THE WORST. I also was on Trazodone to help me sleep, but now that I'm TTC, I've gone off all meds. And it. Is. Hard. I exercise when possible, take a lot of breaks throughout the day, and have a love affair with my heating pad lol But I want this more than anything and a baby will make all this pain worth it
@KirstinH88, I WISH I liked
the dentist! We actually found a practice that we really like and have gone
three times. The last time, our insurance billed it as out-of-network, which is
wasn’t. I started calling them in March and have called 6 times and it still
isn’t correct. They finally fixed my cleaning to in-network, but still have DH’s
cleaning and filling as out-of-network. We really need to go back for a
cleaning but I don’t want to get a huge bill in the mail again and have the
stuff from last year not even correct yet. UGH!
R/R: My rant of the day is about Amazon.
Generally I love that company, but it has taken them almost a week to ship my
order! I don’t have Prime at the moment, but still! I think we’ll have to get
Prime back because I CANNOT wait over a week for my stuff! How is waiting that long really going to satisfy my impulse buying?!?
CS/Q: just chugging along…
GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your
younger self?
Don’t worry about what other
people think of you – their opinions are not important. There was this
especially horrible boy in my class who just loved to make fun of my wide hips.
Yay, can’t really control that douche bag! They are good child-bearing hips, so
I hope to put them to use one day!

R/R: I have two rants: 1) I started a new diet and after sticking to it for two weeks, I want ALL of the food! I'm trying to be good, but it's so hard. Someone have a cheeseburger and fries for me! 2) I know that this is only our first month TTC, but I feel like I am already having mild symptoms. I keep telling myself that it's all in my head and I am trying to hold off on testing until next week to be sure.

@achays11 Not sure if you are just writing it out wrong, but in the timing section -#s are used for days before O and +#s are used for days after O. For example: -2, O, +1 means 2 days before ovulation, ovulation, and 1 day after ovulation. Typically FW consists of -5 through +1 (possibly +2), but would definitely not consist of +3 or +4.

Actually, I need to start seeing a new dentist since we moved, and
that's also been holding me back (in my own mind), so I'm hoping I like the
new place as much as I loved the last one...
I am sorry @shstephenson
Month/Cycle 1/1
CD26/12dpo
Testing: all BFN
R/R: pretty sure I am out
Gtky: *to me as a young mom* you're doing better than you think.

ETA:
@kirstinH88 Sorry about your appt. But... Starbucks has pastries.
Fur babies: Yeti (cat)
#1 Boy E 9/30/17
#2 Girl A 7/27/2020
#3 ?? ? est. 1/5/2025
CD/DPO: 16/2
Timing: 0
Testing: Next week
R/R: So last night was the 3rd night in a row I fell asleep without the help of a sleep aid or anything. I have the worst insomnia so that's a huge accomplishment for me.
CS/Q: None today.
GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self?
Don't let anyone tell you that you're not beautiful and never let anyone treat you like an option.
CD/DPO: 17/3, FF finally updated this morning
Timing: For us: AWESOMENESS.
Testing: Nahhhhh
CD/DPO: 23/12
Timing: good
Testing: BFN this morning- expecting AF either today or tomorrow :-(
R/R: just pissed that I know I'm out this month
CS/Q:
GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self?
1) dont over pluck your eyebrows!!!
2) what happens in high school will not matter to you as an adult!
CD/DPO: 19/5
Timing: -1
Testing:Nope I feel like this is not our cycle. Basically waiting on AF so we can try this again
R/R:
CS/Q:
Eta: tag broked
CD/DPO: 20/7
Timing: 0, -2
Testing: Saturday 10 dpo
R/R: Temp went up today, not sure if it's because of my stupid cold.
CS/Q:
GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? Boys come and go. Focus more on school.
Eta words
CD/DPO: 21/8
Timing: -5, -3, -2, -1
Testing: probably Friday
R/R: The amount of times I convince myself I'm out and that it's not possible followed by "well maybe" and "think positively" in a 24hr span....is RIDICULOUS lol Also, to the ladies who have bought diapers and maternity clothes...I bought a onesie yesterday that I want to give to DH when the time comes, and promptly followed that up with a minor anxiety attack and had to go meditate lol So, currently, the non-scientific reasons I can't possibly be knocked up are:
-2 of DH's sisters are already KU, how could there be 3 pg women in the family?
-someone in my FB chronic illness group is KU, there can't be more than one in the group at a time
-I bought a onesie and *jinxed* myself
CS/Q: my temps are all above the cover line but it still is stressing me out a bit that they're low and not these mountainous peaks I seem to see everywhere
GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self?
Love yourself. You are beautiful and stronger than you know. YOU ARE ENOUGH.
@sevenn Yay for good news!!
@sevenn I agree with what other PPs have been saying. Your other signs also lead to O as well!

And it. Is. Hard. I exercise when possible, take a lot of breaks throughout the day, and have a love affair with my heating pad lol But I want this more than anything and a baby will make all this pain worth it
@mrsdaddario, What a sweet statement! I have my FX so hard for you! Oh, and you too @BusinessWife!
@shstephenson, Sorry for CD1. Treat yourself today!
@Dilynne, LOL that your H says “totes”
@KirstinH88, I WISH I liked the dentist! We actually found a practice that we really like and have gone three times. The last time, our insurance billed it as out-of-network, which is wasn’t. I started calling them in March and have called 6 times and it still isn’t correct. They finally fixed my cleaning to in-network, but still have DH’s cleaning and filling as out-of-network. We really need to go back for a cleaning but I don’t want to get a huge bill in the mail again and have the stuff from last year not even correct yet. UGH!
@berg, YAY for CH!!
@mrsdaddario @rainbowturtles, so sorry you are both dealing with those health issues.
Month/Cycle: 2/2
CD/DPO: 24/8 or 9
Timing: very, very poor
Testing: Sunday, if no AF
R/R: My rant of the day is about Amazon. Generally I love that company, but it has taken them almost a week to ship my order! I don’t have Prime at the moment, but still! I think we’ll have to get Prime back because I CANNOT wait over a week for my stuff! How is waiting that long really going to satisfy my impulse buying?!?
CS/Q: just chugging along…
GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self?
Don’t worry about what other people think of you – their opinions are not important. There was this especially horrible boy in my class who just loved to make fun of my wide hips. Yay, can’t really control that douche bag! They are good child-bearing hips, so I hope to put them to use one day!
