    Timing: -1, 0... But I think more -2, -1

Testing: hopefully waiting for double digits

R/R: got some good news yesterday about something causing great anxiety for me, so relieved about that.

CS/Q: I don't like my chart. I had a critical open circle on what FF is calling 1 dpo- I was under a lot of stress and slept very poorly. I'm actually guessing that temp wouldn't have been up otherwise, but it is what it is. CS welcome.

GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self? You don't have to go out of your way all the time in attempt to make everyone else happy at the expense of yourself. Really.

Ugh, I feel like I have so many. Stop worrying so much about what other people think about you, be more serious about school, save more money. But I think the biggest one goes along with @Sevenn, that it is not fair to myself to always put everyone else's happiness before my own.

  • @KirstinH88 I feel the same way lately... not sure what to do about it either.  But I have also been procrastinating about going to the dentist, and I, too, love going, for all the same reasons!  lol
    <img title="Image: https://memecrunch.com/meme/1X3JE/weirdo-alert/image.png" src="https://memecrunch.com/meme/1X3JE/weirdo-alert/image.png" alt="" height="387" width="330">
Actually, I need to start seeing a new dentist since we moved, and
that's also been holding me back (in my own mind), so I'm hoping I like the
new place as much as I loved the last one...

@sevenn  Your chart looks great!  Don't worry about that one open circle, because you were tracking all those other signs.  Even if it might not have been QUITE so high, I'm sure it still would have been elevated enough to give you CH.  FF weighs those open circles in there when assigning CH, so don't worry!  It's all good!  :)
  • After raving about my dentist office...It takes a lot of work to get into my appts. Early in the morning so I don't miss much work. I have to wake up early, get my son up and to my MILs early. And then ride the train around the city (with a transfer). Well I get there and the lady who does my cleaning tells me that the insurance paid my last cleaning 4 months ago (we didn't think they would), so this one wouldn't be paid for. My insurance covers a cleaning every 6 months but they have me on a 3-4 month cleaning schedule because my gums are not the best. Well, I decided that I didn't want to pay out of pocket $117 for the cleaning, so I just rescheduled for 2 months from now. The lady said she should have called yesterday, and gave me a Starbucks gift card for my "troubles," but (UO) I don't like coffee. Or anything of the sort.

@Brooklyngirl6 I'm a school speech therapist. Today is my last day of freedom, teacher's start back tomorrow. When do you go back?

@sevenn I think your chart is fine, especially since the following two temps are up and you got a positive OPK the night before it went up.

    Month/Cycle: 16/15

    CD/DPO: 20/7

    Timing: -3, -1, +1

Testing: Probably not. Although my husband is sure we are pregnant this cycle.

R/R: My drs. appointment yesterday was actual more productive than I expected. I already said this in IF check-in, but my doc ordered 8 different blood tests to check all my hormone levels and referred me to a gynecologist who will go over the results with me next week. Next step is a SA for DH.

    CS/Q: My chart's looking okay.

GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self?
Get out of your shell during college. You will never have the opportunities available to you on campus again, take advantage of them.

    ETA:
@kirstinH88 Sorry about your appt. But... Starbucks has pastries.
    Me: 36, DH: 40
    Married: July 22, 2008
    Fur babies: Yeti (cat)

    #1 Boy E 9/30/17
    #2 Girl A 7/27/2020
    #3 ?? ? est. 1/5/2025
  • @KirstinH88  Doh!  Ughh that sound super-annoying!  What a rough start; hopefully your day gets better!
  • Month/Cycle: 6/6

    CD/DPO: 16/2

    Timing: 0

    Testing: Next week

R/R: So last night was the 3rd night in a row I fell asleep without the help of a sleep aid or anything.  I have the worst insomnia so that's a huge accomplishment for me.  :)  I'm trying meditation and relaxing techniques.  Going for a fourth natural sleep night later!

    CS/Q: None today.

GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self?
Don't let anyone tell you that you're not beautiful and never let anyone treat you like an option.

    1) dont over pluck your eyebrows!!!
    2) what happens in high school will not matter to you as an adult!
  • @momtoleo Try taking raw honey by a spoonful or in tea!  Me and DH have allergies all year round and it helps us out so much!

@shstephenson I think I'm going to be joining you... Felt like I woke up to CD1 cramping but no proof yet so I'll probably be out in a couple of hours.
    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD/DPO: 29/14ish

    Timing: hmmm now I'm confused

    Testing: AF cramping so no

R/R: went to bed and woke up to AF cramps. I know I'm out which its only out first try but I still have all the anxieties and wish I wouldn't have waited the three months after stopping BC to start trying.

    CS/Q:

GTKY What words of wisdom do you have for your younger self?    Generally I don't have any major regrets either @KirstinH88 . But I might've went back and made it very clear to my little sister not to announce my 1st pregnancy on social media before I got to tell everyone and then when I did I got no excitement back in anyone's reactions cuz they already knew!

    CD/DPO: 20/7

    Timing: 0, -2

    Testing: Saturday 10 dpo

    Timing: -4 -1

Testing: BFN this morning. STARK WHITE

R/R: ugh.  I think I'm out.  I know I shouldn't be negative but I don't think there is any reason to get my hopes up...temp drop this morning....blah

    CS/Q:

    GTKY:  trust your gut
  • @mrsdaddario sorry about your MS, that's awful :( I have a connective tissue disorder which they think is hypermobility type ehlers-danlos with some classical characteristics. Mine affects my joints a lot and causes a lot of pain and so far only subluxations, not full dislocations, but it also affects my bowels, bladder, circulatory system, etc. I also have celiac disease, which is autoimmune. All super frustrating!
  • Way too many BFN's today guys... So sorry for all of you with BFNs and/or impending CD1.

@sevenn I agree with what other PPs have been saying. Your other signs also lead to O as well!
@BusinessWife as far as the procrastinating and being lazy goes, I think I just need to suck it up. Do one chore tonight after work. If I can accomplish SOMETHING, then maybe it will give me the boost I need to keep it going. Finding a good, welcoming dentist can be hard, so Fx for you!
@MandyBeeSLP Fx that your test results come back normal. Or maybe not normal, so then you can start some sort of treatment? Either way, hopefully this will lead you to a BFP. Also, I'm not a big fan of pastries either. I may save it for a hot chocolate once winter rolls around.
@berg Yay! Glad to see you over here and with some good timing!
@bswishe4 I'm sorry that you don't feel like this is your cycle. You're only 5 days in the TWW, keep up hope! -1 timing is not horrible.

  • @rainbowturtles That sounds very painful! (I had to Google it lol). And celiac on top of that! My best friend has celiac, bad. Very, very sensitive. She'll get sick from GF foods just touching a surface that non-GF food's have been prepared on. So she's hyper vigilant when it comes to where/what she eats. So I understand all about that. Is there medication you take for your other issues?
  • @mrsdaddario yes, unfortunately my celiac is very bad, too....I really didn't want to believe it, but I got glutened from my SHAMPOO a couple months ago (wheat protein in it). I had scalp sores and massive headaches and my hair was falling out by the handful but I thought it might be stress from moving but then on a whim I checked my shampoo ingredients and lo and behold things started getting better once I switched...unbelievable! It also really scares me because if you get accidentally glutened while pregnant it can cause miscarriage :'( A lot of people don't understand the severity, so thank you for understanding <3

As for the other issues, they can only treat the symptoms, and I've tried all sorts of meds and the only ones that helped at all without major side effects were opiates, and trying to get those prescribed here is THE WORST. I also was on Trazodone to help me sleep, but now that I'm TTC, I've gone off all meds. And it. Is. Hard. I exercise when possible, take a lot of breaks throughout the day, and have a love affair with my heating pad lol But I want this more than anything and a baby will make all this pain worth it <3
  • @rainbowturtles Well I'm routing for you SO HARD!!
  • @BusinessWife This is kinda crazy but I remembered you mention Chanel foundation on here once. FYI zulilly is having a sale on Chanel make up products!!
  • Welcome @achays11 and @kyersten !

CS/Q = Chart Stalk/Questions; if you are charting your cycles using Fertility Friend here is where you can ask us to take a peek at your chart if you're confused about anything or ask any questions about charting (and/or other TWW questions, I believe?)

Hope your stays aren't long, but the ladies here are wonderful :)
  • @achays11 Not sure if you are just writing it out wrong, but in the timing section -#s are used for days before O and +#s are used for days after O. For example: -2, O, +1 means 2 days before ovulation, ovulation, and 1 day after ovulation. Typically FW consists of -5 through +1 (possibly +2), but would definitely not consist of +3 or +4.
