I just washed all of my maternity clothes and ordered two new pairs of leggings because my other ones were starting to get holes. I won't be purchasing anything until after the anatomy scan
Nothing yet. Well, except for a Bella Band. I'm starting to think of getting some new tops to hide the bloat. I'm waiting until I'm a little farther along to get stuff for the baby.
Married: 7/9/15 Me: 37, DH: 36 Started TTC #1: 9/2015 Preliminary labs/testing @ 6 months: TSH, A1c, progesterone, prolactin, SA, HSG all normal BFP: 5/19/2016, M/C: 5/29/2016 BFP: 6/22/2016 EDD 3//6/2017
Because I have had recurrent losses I won't be buying anything until after first tri. Even then I think that my purchases will probably just be belly band/clothes for me until a bit later.
Hugs, mama. It's so hard.

We have gotten a little something for each of our babies. Sometimes it ends up being a happy trinket, sometimes a sweet momento.

@Schumerator when I had my shower for DD, it was falling in April/May, and between communions, etc, they ended up having it after memorial day weekend, and I ended up having her the next week LOL I hadn't even had time to really go through all the gifts/unpack/wash anything....I teased them that what if I went a week early, I would've missed my own shower LOL but that's what you get when your dad planned your shower (my mom had passed before I was married so she missed all the fun stuff)

@Schumerator I thought the same thing the other day as I'm working on planning my SIL's baby shower next month (she's due in November). Hopefully it'll just be a good excuse for everyone to get together and drink coffee and hot cocoa??
I've bought a few "maternity" tops but they don't really look like it other than the ruching on the side. I actually bought a bunch of tunics right before we found out too so that works well but I didn't buy them intentionally because I didn't expect to get pregnant so soon. I have some leggings and work pants on the way but sounds like I need to invest in a Bella band. The only thing I've bought for baby so far is a rooster wall decoration since next year is year of the rooster in the Chinese zodiac. OH wait no we did buy a football uniform onesie of our alma mater because we saw it at TJ Maxx like two years ago when we were shopping for one of his cousins lol. But I will wait to buy more once we know the gender!

A few swaddling blankets and maternity pieces off Zulily and some diapers. Planning to spread out some expenses as much as we can. Hubs also found a cute sound soother during Prime Day too.
Pear pants and bunny hat. (ignore the other clothes, I pulled out all of My son's newborn and 3 month clothes to look at). I don't need any clothes, just giving myself permission to buy things I find super cute. Sorry if the pics are huge!

I got a new baby book, since I like to start them right away, put my positive tests and notes about early pregnancy in there and such. No plans to buy anything else anytime soon, especially since this is #3 in four years and we need next to nothing.
I bought a Mamaroo because I had a coupon! I also talked to my insurance and they went ahead and sent me a double electric breast pump, because it was fully covered. I also got a cute baby blanket at TJ Maxx because it was TOO cute. I am trying to have self control, but I'm just too excited! ETA: I also signed up for the amazon baby registry thing to get the free welcome baby box deal

@pandalily Oooh that's so true! Oh man what a cute idea maybe to do a "Baby, it's cold outside" and have a hot cocoa bar! I'm positive this is not original but I've never seen it and I think it sounds so cute lol
I don't really want to buy anything just yet until I go through all of DS stuff and sort what's gender neutral and figure out what necessities need to be replaced. Will prob do one big shop then!

I bought a new fancy stroller that converts into a double. It was over $100 off, so I HAD to!
Uppa Baby Vista? I bought one too this weekend and am in love!
I ended up going with the City Select. I love the Vista too, and I was between those two, but the 16 different configurations that the City Select has sold me. It's sad that this is what I get excited about now! I spent the better part of the day playing with the seats when I got it.
I haven't purchased anything yet also out of superstition. Since this my first I'm hoping to get the majority of what I need at my shower and will buy whatever else is needed at that point. Also based on my nieces and nephew I'm pretty positive that my mother in law is going to purchase every article of clothing the baby will need for its first year
I bought some maternity jeans because of the bloat but they are still a little too big, so now I'm going to get a band of some sort. We have most of the big things from out daughter and it's still pretty new since she is 15 months now. We did buy a City Select Stroller when it went on sale before we even started trying for #2, in my defense I nanny my nephew who is 9 months so I kind of needed one

Ah I was looking at that one too. My SIL has the City Mini and loves it.
Anyone seen a double stroller that includes a pram that converts to regular? Not the kind that you can click a car seat into.
Uppa Baby Vista comes with a pram and a toddler seat. You can transition to two toddler seats or even add on the roller board for an older child. I think City Select can also accommodate two.
Anyone seen, bought, or used the Britax B-Ready as a double stroller? I'm not nearly ready to buy but have done some online browsing and so far it's the top. I already have the Britax infant seat so that's a plus. I was hoping for some mommy advice before such an important purchase.
@longliveregina the city select does as well. You have to buy the bassinet separately where the uppababy vista comes with it, but here is the fanciness it can do
Cool options! I like the idea of a newborn laying flat in a pram instead of reclined in a carseat, so these options look really cool. Especially if you can get 3 kids on board. Winning!
Girls, for that kind of money I will make you a stroller!

The options for double strollers are kind of limited, especially if you don't want a doubt wide one (it's too crowded where we live for that) I will say, Craigslist and Offer-up are the way to go. Get that shit used!!! Mine was new, but was an open box return from Amazon Warehouse (you guys seriously need to peruse that part of their site!!) so it ended up being about $25 more than what I would have gotten it on Craigslist for
Agree on the second hand. I got the sales pitch on the Uppa Baby in a boutique here over the weekend, and I fell in love, but the price tag ($879, and that doesn't include the car seat) was way too much. I feverishly spent the next 36 hours hunting down a nice, gently used one on Craigslist. First, I almost got scammed (story for another day), then I saw one in person that looked, well, used. But like Goldilocks, the third one was jusssst right.
The owner was so sweet and well, loaded. Her baby was born in the summer, so she didn't use the pram ever (too hot here), and the rest was spotless. She even still had the warranty info, so I can reorder parts. Here's a photo if anyone's interested! I haven't installed the pram yet, just the toddler seat.

Almost bought a cute onesie today. Refrained because we don't know yet whether it's a boy or girl lol. I did miss out on a Britax car seat from a former coworker though...she was only wanting $20 for it at her garage sale! She posted pics that she was having a garage sale this weekend but silly me didn't look through the pictures until today and by the time I texted her it was already sold.
