@AfKash - LOL! I did the same, except I confirmed online that there was one near my Dr office...and when we pulled in it had burnt down! I was like NO! And literally could've cried. Then we saw a nice Italian place nearby and I got some brick oven pizza and was contented at least lol. I will be getting some sour punch straws on my way home from work today since I had healthy food all day so far, I can get my cheat in. The other day my husband had bought himself a package of Runts candy, and put it on the kitchen table while he went to shower. Then he came back into the room and I had already devoured them. He said, Oh yea you can have those. Enjoy. (very nice about it) then I thought oh crap, he probably got them for himself and I just ate the whole package without saving home any, oops
Been craving a lot of asian foods lately. I had sushi for dinner the other night(was very careful about selecting safe rolls), and this afternoon I shared Pad Thai with my mom. I've also wanted Vietnamese Pho soup for DAYS and haven't been able to get into town to get any.
Why do Doritos need to taste so yummy and come in different styles and flavors? lol I indulged myself with a small single serve bag of cool ranch...mmmmm. I did have healthy yogurt with walnuts for breakfast and I have some banana oatmeal lined up too for brunch.
I just had McConnells cookies n cream ice cream. Like Sprinkles cupcakes, I would like to know where they get the pixie dust that makes them taste like they're from other planet. So good! Still can't stop the BLTs
TAMALES!!!! (Not candy hot tamales...) In Colorado my students would always bring in homemade tamales from their parents. We've since moved to Virginia and I finally found someone who makes them (but not nearly as good as the mamas in Colorado). I'm on a new mission to learn how to make them so I can just make a platter for myself to put in the fridge and freezer-pack a crazy ton of them closer to when we're due for easy dinners!
@TeacherMom2517 - Every time we visit Detroit, my MIL sends us home with tamales (much to DH's chagrin). We can't find any place in Pittsburgh to get them; so, I don't mind having a bunch in my freezer. I keep thinking I need to learn how to make them too.
gluten free toast with kite hill dairy free cream cheese, smoked salmon and spinach is my favorite lunch. My doctor was fine with me having smoked salmon
I'm really missing over easy eggs on top of meat and veggie hashes; but, I just had a couple of scrambled eggs w/ ketchup... Was delicious. Made me think of vacation because I always love hotel breakfast buffet scrambled eggs.
