Selfishly started this thread because I have an appointment today at 6:20 pm. My first appointment was 3 weeks ago, and we had a US and saw the baby. By LMP at that point I was about 8 weeks, but I knew based on ovulation I would have been closer to 7 weeks, and that was pretty close to what I measured. So I'm going back tonight, at almost 10 weeks. I hope they do a US again. But also, now I'm kind of off of their normal US schedule, which is 8 weeks & 12 weeks. So.. guess I have to wait and see what they do.

yes, another ultrasound Wednesday, hopefully we will hear the heartbeat and DH will get to be there so I'm excited about that. although I'm slightly bummed it's so early because then I won't get to see the baby again until 21 weeks, I'm kinda thinking of pushing it to next week, I won't even be 9 weeks til thursday and since I was measuring 4 days smaller than we thought I will still be really early.

I had my first appointment with the doctor today (last time was just the nurse)- I had to pee in a cup and she just answered any questions that I had. Nothing much was done because I just had my ultrasound 2 weeks ago and I am going to have my NT scan 2 weeks from now. She didn't try the doppler because I'm almost 10 weeks and I have a tipped uterus so thought it was too early. Guess I will have to wait 2 more weeks to see whats going on!

I have an appointment on Wednesday! This will be my 3rd ultrasound and I'm just as scared, anxious and excited as the other two. I just really hope everything is still going well. This weekend I had mild, to no symptoms so I have been freaking out, I don't need to eat every hour like before. But I know that sometimes the symptoms ease up around 11weeks so I am praying that it is just that. I pray my LO is still growing and has a strong heart beat

I have one on wednesday, it's another repeat u/s to check on the babies and see if they are both still growing. Last scan was 7 weeks and we saw/heard both hb, hoping for more growth this week, I'll be 9 weeks 1 day. I'm hoping I will still get one more scan with the RE until they discharge me to my regular ob, i'm so hesitant to leave them

Was scheduled for my first appointment on the 16th, but my OBGYN has now scheduled me to come in on this Wednesday. I'm nervous, but just excited to finally have an US and stop worrying/wondering. The wait will finally be over.

Just left my doc appt and it was the long education appt with a follow up. Disappointed because the US I had a couple weeks ago was measuring 6+6 when I thought I would be 8+3 based off of LMP, so I'm only 8+4 today. We didn't do a doppler or anything since it's still too early. I'm 35 so I'm doing a genetic screening in 4 weeks, so I'll have to wait a month before I get to know everything is still fine. Waiting is the worst. My symptoms have subsided so it's making me nervous.

First appt on Tuesday! I can't wait!! Realistically I know it's just a confirmation appointment but since I'm 7 weeks the receptionist said they 'might' try to find a heartbeat. Anybody want to guess how much I'll be pushing for that?!? My OB usually likes to see people at 6 wks for confirmation and again at 10 wks for first prenatal appt so at least I shouldn't have to wait too much longer for the next chance if they can't/won't look for the heartbeat yet though. So happy for all you other mamas this week too!!

I'm going to cheat a little since my appointment was last Friday (but it was at the end of the week so that barely counts for last week...right?) at 9 weeks. It was my first appointment and dating ultrasound. Prior to the appointment I was positive that I would try for VBAC, but now after talking to my doctor I'm not so sure. So stressed about the decision!

I have my 2nd US this Thursday. I'll be getting up at 4:15am, taking a 6am flight from Madison to LGA, taking a cab to the doctor, getting the US, then taking a cab back to the airport to fly to Arkansas. I'm not even getting to go home to change out my luggage

Hope I can keep the bloat at bay for one more week b/c I'm stuck with these clothes til Sunday! I've been gone since July 25th. I wish there was such a thing as mobile doctors for travelers. Maybe I can create an app for that...

We had a dating US this Saturday. DH first words when he saw LO on the screen was "holy sh*t!". The technician LOL'd so hard I thought she was going to drop the US wand. We have our first prenatal appt with MW tomorrow. I am very excited. Putting together all the paperwork and prepping DH, and writing our list of questions. Any 2nd time Mom's have advice for questions they wished they asked the 1st time?

I have my first real appointment tomorrow morning at 9. According to the traditional 28 day LMP calculation, I'll be 7w0d, but I have shorter cycles (25-26), so my guess is that I may be a few days ahead of that. We had an early scan to rule out an ectopic on 7/25 and the tech couldn't date it exactly other than "a little over 5 weeks". We saw a yolk sac and gestational sac at that time. I'm really, really anxious about the appointment. I think they'll do another u/s, but I'm not positive. If they don't, I'll probably cry.

First US on Thursday! I'm nervous and really ready. I'll be 9 weeks on Friday. Except I just remembered how much water I have to drink before my appointment.

I was supposed to have another appointment on Thursday but had to reschedule for next Monday since I wasn't able to get out of work for this week. I should be having another US because they mentioned that my next appointment would include blood work and the nuchal translucency test.

Edit bc why would "nuchal" be randomly changed to "unchallenged"?

Yay! Just got back from a good appointment! Baby measured about 10 weeks, hb of 180. Heard the hb and saw it wave a little to us. I have to call tomorrow and schedule my NT scan, the receptionist was gone by the time we left the appointment.

Any STM know if the H can or usually does come to the NT scan, or just the appointment the week after?

Had a good first appointment! The doctor freaked me out a bit by saying that my uterus felt small and "not pregnant," but we saw a little nugget with a strong heartbeat measuring a few days ahead of my calculations (and 5 days ahead of LMP) at 7w5d. I gave my half-gallon of blood and called it a day. Next appointment is in 4 weeks at 11w5d. We'll schedule the NT scan at that point and do the blood work for that.

@chrlyr what a crazy thing to say to you before the ultrasound! That would have freaked me out completely.

we saw our two little gummy bears today (almost 10 weeks). One was upside down and both were very wriggly, which was reassuring to see and pretty cute, as cute as little blobs can be.

We had a terrifying meeting with a genetic counselor and then they took all my blood for whatever non-invasive screenings I signed off on (it was too confusing for us to totally understand, and it was before the ultrasound so I was anxious and distracted).

Just finished my 7 wk appt with new OB! She was very nice but I couldn't talk her into finding a heartbeat this early. Upside though we have an appt scheduled for 2 weeks from now for our first US at 9 wks!

Yes, I just had my first appointment today. I met with a nurse practitioner, who said that my uterus felt larger than 7w 6d. But, she said it can be normal for STM. She said my uterus felt normal for an 8 to 10 week pregnancy. She kept reassuring me that it was normal, but then she ordered a dating ultrasound for Monday. She kept trying to make this all sound normal, but I can't help but be concerned. Am I just crazy? I remember a nurse saying something similar to me at my 12 week appointment with DD... Maybe I just have a large uterus, LOL

My first appointment was last week and they did a pelvic and some bloodwork. Uterus is enlarged and HCG is way up, so we're looking good so far. We ended up telling a few more friends this weekend. This Thursday I have my first ultrasound and I'm really excited/nervous! After this, I'll have another appt in 2 weeks for follow up with the OB. I'm probably going to reschedule that since I just started a new job and want to schedule all my appointments for the late afternoon.

I have an appointment tomorrow. I am super anxious. Everything looked perfect last week, but I have always had development stop in Wk6. I will feel more positive if we can get through tomorrow OK.

Had my first MW appointment on Tueday, and am scheduled for a dating ultrasound next Wednesday!

Really excited about the midwife, we had our GP for my last pregnancy, and appointments were always max 10 minutes long. Fist MW appointment was a full hour, tons of information, tons of conversations about tests and their risks and benefits.

Just had my 2nd US, doc said it looks good, & we saw the heartbeat. 8+2 today. Now back to the airport for another flight and am feeling queasy & burpy AF today.

Had an appt with the genetic counselor on Tuesday, harmony test was drawn. OB appt today and they were able to find a heartbeat of 165!!!

I had my first appointment with my midwife today, she didn't try to use the doppler, she said it was too early to likely find the heart beat on it, so she did an abdominal ultrasound and I got to see our LO wiggling around and the heart beating. Everything looks normal, did my lab work and she changed my due date to March 8th, from the 9th...I got a kick out of changing it one day.

On a side note, I found the heart beat on my home doppler last night, DS and DH both got to hear it
