  • @silverfrost yes with the tightness! I feel like the baby is constantly pushing from the inside
  • I cried at the end of the PGA chapionship on Sunday...  My emotions are all a Twitter.

My heartburn/acid reflux blows. Red meat is a big trigger for it.

Heart burn is back. Bad. Like burn through my throat and chest heart burn. The only thing that helps is eating  :/

ETA- spelling is hard when all you can think about is food.
  • @caseyewhitaker Ovia suggested another user who's seven weeks along pack her hospital bag, so...there may be some issues there. Haha.

I just went back to my fitness class after a month of vacation and holy whatzit the RLP when I make a sudden movement. Luckily it only happened twice, but it was enough to make me grab my stomach both times. Boo. Other than that, just embarrassingly bad acne/chestne/shoulderne/bacne.

  • The end of last week brought on immediate set in of pregnancy carpal tunnel and something with my elbow- I can't sleep without one or both arms falling asleep and waking me every 1-2 hours!!

I've been to the chiro, wear braces at night, and added an elbow brace which seemed to help, but then last night failed miserably.... I've had mild carpal tunnel (I work at at a desk) that's always been easily managed with chiropractic care but this is unreal... anyone know anything else I can try!? I'm wondering if  it's the twin thing and I'm just screwed....

  • Yes to Braxton Hicks - primarily after a workout for me.

And since it looks like my blood pressure is starting to increase again, now I'm getting tiny broken capillaries...everywhere. Like my chest and my shoulders primarily. I had these last time too, and fortunately they went away after the birth. But I feel like a red-spotted dalmatian.

And the acne has never stopped for me with pregnancy. There is no solution. My "glow" is oily, red, and inflamed apparently.

  • Yes to always hot
Yes to really needing to pee but then it no being a lot...I have also had that pressure and tightness people are talking about I wonder if the intense need to pee is coming from this feeling of tightness?
Also related to pee...if I ever have to hold it, when I finally go the muscles in my pelvic region/lower abdomen are really sore-releasing that final pee can sometimes be painful because of this. Maybe my muscles are tight from pee holding? Anyone else have this experience?
  • Peeing like crazy! I never feel like my bladder is completely empty, which is annoying. Headaches, lightheaded, and cramps. My hair, even thought it's falling out, looks great. I'm really loving water right now as well.
  • The jaw acne- so crazy! Me too!! I got the cleansing wipes from target and post sweat I use them to try and combat them!
  • I got up to pee 4x in a 30minute period last night. so that's fun.
    Jawline acne
    movement (yay!)
nausea - typically in the afternoon/evening
still vomiting anywhere from 3-10x / week
    crazy sex dreams
    sciatic pain. Womp.

I've been getting these really intense pains around my cervix area.   Feels like inflammation, or throbbing pressure pains.  Happens a few times a day, mostly while I'm in bed, and it's bad enough to wake me up!  Doctor said my cervix was little inflamed and tested me for preterm labor, UTI, yeast infection, and bacterial vaginosis.  Didn't have any of those things so I was put on pelvic rest for a few weeks but otherwise was given no explanation!  Weird!!!
  • I'm glad to know others are feeling BH. @LinziLoo09 I don't work out because I'm a lazy bum, but I've noticed them when I sit in a weird position or am up chasing DD around the house.

My new symptom, almost literally overnight, is acne. Woo.

  • I read about people having RLP but did not know what it was like until today! WTF, it's awful!!! I was on my hands and knees trying to reposition baby and release the stabbing aching sensation from 7am-12pm. I am so greatful for my neighbor who ran to Walgreens for someTylenol for me and my in laws who dropped everything and came over to take care of DS and I. My FIL took my son on a bike ride that lasted all morning and when he came back he took a 4 hour nap. They are amazing. I could not have servived today with out them. I thought sciatica on my left side was bad but this Round ligament pain is no joke. I couldn't even walk when I woke up this morning. My Dr. Set me up with some physical therapy and my neighbor gave me her chiropractors number. Have appointments set up and now I just have to wait until Friday. Thank god for friends and family to help me out!
  • Sooooo my skin has been really strange. For the last month on my face I have this patch of dry red bumpy skin that doesn't go away. It's not big maybe size of a dime under my eye bags... I have a natural red undertone around my nose so I'm thinking maybe rosacea? At first I thought it was a hive or something but no. When I was at the doctors they were like oh skin problems are common. But now I just want to know wtf it is.

Also yes to the stretching. It feels like my skin can't catch up to my body growing. This is when I wish had stretch armstrongs body.

Could be eczema - I never had it til I was pregnant with DS and got a patch on my wrist. I went to the doc thinking I had scabies lol

I am so sorry you're dealing with this! I had terrible carpal tunnel during pregnancy with DS. Two things that kind of helped were icing my wrists and staying hydrated. GL

  • @sammyl1221  I think I have something similar, just on my leg.  I've got 3 patches of red, bumpy, itchy skin that just won't seem to get better.  Googling leads me to believe it is eczema, which can apparently pop-up during pregnancy even if you've never had it before.  Thanks hormones!  I'll be asking at my appointment next week just to be sure.

So I can't remember who I was chatting with the other day about having to adjust to side sleeping and it making our necks hurt, so I will just post this here.

I tried the Leachco Back and Belly Pillow and had to send it back. It has a thick, tough seam around the curve that is difficult to ignore or be comfortable with. The pillow is very cloud like and soothing but unfortunately made my neck hurt within 30 minutes of laying with it.

    I never tried a snoogle.

What I do is use my old body pillow from back in my single days. I stuff the lower half between my legs and if my neck and shoulders are aching from having my arm under the pillow or up near my face, I've started pulling them down to hug the body pillow instead. That seems to provide some relief for now.

    ETA: And another thing-

Last night I woke up with miserable pain in my right nipple because I guess I was sleeping on it wrong? Ouch. I got up, went to the bathroom, switched sides, and it felt better eventually. I've never had to be mindful of how I sleep on my boobs before. So painful.

  • The pregsomnia is getting worse. I didn't sleep at all the night before last and only got an hour or two in last night. I have no idea how I'm going to function with little to no sleep.
  • It's so hot here if I get up and start doing literally anything, i.e. even the littlest of housework like loading and unloading the dishwasher, I'm drenched in sweat. I just did a bunch of house stuff and felt like I was about to burst into flames so I made myself a big bottle of water with ice. I sat back down with it and enjoyed. Bean started wiggling like crazy and I thought "what's Bean's deal?" Then I remembered that was the trick to get babies to dance! Sorry Bean, mama's thirsty!

  • Most of my symptoms are the same as in the first trimester but not as bad - fatigue, RLP, some itching. I never had morning sickness, thank goodness, but would feel light headed if I didn't eat frequently enough. That is, until this afternoon. I was reading something online and had a bad wave of nausea, like I felt like I could throw up. It passed and I realized I was hungry, and am better now. But WTF? Nausea at 23 weeks for the first time?

I've also been pretty emotional, and anxious. Baby has been very active lately but quiet the last couple days - hard not to worry about that.
  • Any folks use a Snoogle to relieve back pain? I am waking up every day with awful back pain and the only relief is lying on my back, which I try not to do. I think I am sleeping awkwardly.

Snoogle definitely makes me more comfortable but u don't think it helps to relieve too much back pain that's already there... Maybe a pt or chiropractor appt?

:-\ boo. My back is fine during the day. It just is coming from an awkward sleeping position. I feel like an old woman when I get up in the morning these days!!

I'm going to give the Boppy wedge a try. I've read that it is pretty firm and that keeping my knee and hip in line might help....

  • Ugh last night I went to bed while dh and in laws stayed up a little longer. Well I woke up screaming "oh my goodness!" And they came running. I'd had a little nightmare but more than that, it stemmed from being on my back and having that blood supply restricted. I almost passed out and it took me a good 15 minutes to feel okay. I was totally white and didn't figure out that it was all because I was on my back til a bit later so they all were thinking I had some extreme nightmare panic attack or something

    • I am still trying to figure out how to sleep. I have a Snoogle, and have got it situated where I am sleeping on my normal pillows, but still get the support between my knees. I feel it has helped some back pain with having the long side against my back. I still wake up and move a lot, though, so my other pillow is above my head so if I want to go on my back, I'm reclining in a way vs. somewhat flat. I think I worry too much that I'll be flat on my back at some point. But, having the pillows this way seems to help some.
    • All the feels! TBS had the episode where Monica and Chandler get engaged on one of the days this week. Bawled. Just bawled... and I've seen this one SO many times. Just any touching moment on ANY TV show/movie and I'm getting teary.
    • Sciatica nerve pain is come and go. It actually was great last week, but has shown up again this week.
    • Give me all the food! I am constantly hungry.
    • I can tell tat my ankles have swelled some. It's not cute.
    • My hair is dull (where is this lovely hair I am supposed to get) - no volumizing products do anything unless I curl my hair in waves. Also, my eyelashes are pretty nonexistent, no matter what mascara and eyelash curler I use. So sad.

  • How low is too low for blood pressure? I've been in contact with my perinatologist, and they lowered my dosage Thursday. However, ir doesn't seem to be helping. My bp today has hovered between 90/50 and 80/50. I don't know if I need to give my old dosage time to get out of my system, or what. I figured I'd ask here and she if anyone has any experience with this.
  • This child does not realize how much room they have. Squish likes to stay in my pelvic area, so my pelvic area ALWAYS hurts. Need to get this child to shift but their stubborn like mommy and daddy. Just my luck. Back pain intensifying. I'm going to have to get a support band.

In other news, gas, peeing all the time, super oily skin and breakouts and tiredness has come back.

The good news is Squish is very active and I love the movements in feeling.

@phoenix870509 I am beginning to think I'm having these pains as well, in my pelvic area.  I haven't been able to figure out what is wrong, but maybe it's my little nugget??  Is your pain a throbbing, achy sort of sensation right around where your cervix would be?  Very, very low abdomen?

@DumbledoresArmy it's more like RLP underneath my belly and a soreness on my ilium. Nothing near my cervix area.
