Me:27 DH:28 Married in August 2013 IVF w/PGD to rule out a genetic disorder First IVF cycle: ER 6/20/16 (42 eggs retrieved, 31 mature, 27 fertilized with ICSI, 9 frozen and biopsied) Results: 3 embies passed both PGD & PGS testing (2 boys and a girl ). FET on 8/2/16, transferred our girl embryo. Beta on 8/11: 124!! Second Beta on 8/15: 1,117. First ultrasound (7 weeks) scheduled for 8/30.
@stranzm yes, I had a D&C and it really wasn't bad. I took the next day off too just because I was still tired from the anesthesia. I had a little cramping and bleeding but overall it was a very easy procedure.
Our Mock transfer seemed not much more than a regular check up. Except they open up the cervix wide and I heard him noting things like my uterus is inverted, the right ovary is low, tube blocked etc, no cysts...More or less it was like he was just surveying the scene. There was a little spotting after but nothing crazy.
Just received the ratings of my blasts. 5BA, 5AB, 5AA, 3BB, 5BB, 3AB. One of these has to pass PGS right? PLEASE!

@ADRIANAC1982 Yes having 19 measurable follicles (I assume that means close to maturity) is a very good thing!!! I had about 20, which led to a retrieval of 20 eggs total. Of those 12 were mature, but a lot of girls on here report a much higher maturity rate. You're doing well!!
@stranzm I'm so sorry about this news. I love your attitude, looking on the positive side that you want to give yourself the best chance possible. We have to listen to our bodies and our doctors, and do things when the timing is right. Hang in there girl!

@Sunnshine Awesome news for your embabies as well!! I know you are pumped to transfer on Thursday. I am sure you will feel much more at ease now that you have your boss up to speed. I included my boss when we got started because I knew I was going to need so much randomly scheduled time off and it was truly a stress relief. I kept them a little bit more in the dark this cycle with scheduling and everything so that way when I get a BFP it will be a little bit of a surprise

Anywho... @stranzm I'm so sorry to hear that they are going to be delyaing you and that you won't be able to do your fresh transfer. I had a bad case of OHSS and I found out on the day of ER that mine was a freeze all. It was hard to hear but at the end of they day they were trying to do what was best to give us the best chance for positive results. Keep your head up girlie, from my experience that time that I had to wait flew by

I have a semi-update. I couldn't wait anymore so I called my clinic and they transferred me to the lab. One of the embryologists picked up and I asked about our embryos. She said that they are currently doing the biopsies on them and that I will get a call with an update when they are finished. I'm guessing this means we have something to biopsy at least! I still won't be able to relax until I know the number... but hope is alive!!

Well about a minute after I posted my last update I got the call. 4 are full blastocysts today and have been biopsied. 5 are in the early blastocyst stage and are being allowed to grow one more day. 1 stopped growing after day 3. I asked if any of those remaining 5 look promising and the embryologist said it's impossible to tell right now, that some embryos in the early blastocyst stage will arrest at that point and others will develop appropriately. He said that he will call back after 2:30 tomorrow with my day 6 update. I'm glad we have 4 blasts (I imagine soon to be frosties) at this point! Hoping to add another one (or a few) tomorrow.

Had my sono today to check the lining and it looks good, around 10mm. However, I had one folicle measuring 11 mm. I imagine if the level is too high, we would have to cancel it... hmmm. At this point waiting for a phone call from the nurse...

Retrival was this morning and we got 17 eggs! My dr was happy because based on my last ultrasound he was guessing 12-15. But apparently some follicles he thought were too small to contain eggs, did! I get my first update in the morning!
To whoever asked about my discharge issue. I did tell the dr and he said it was very normal due to high estrogen levels.

So day 4, my nurser called to schedule to schedule my transfer tomorrow!! The embryologist a wants is transfer morning. We didn't get any update on embabies but she said if something was wrong they would of called me. When we arrive tomorrow, the embryologist along with our RE will discuss our grading and how many to transfer. It's getting so real!! I am took time today and just shopped the day away to keep distracted. These steroids have me all moody and nuts. I'm ready for bed and it's only a little after 5! Tomorrow can't come soon enough.

Just had my last blood test before retrieval tomorrow! Im good to go, I have my gatorade and cheetos per the nurses instructions and just wanna get this day over with....
I had a mini-freak out because I was maybe a minute and a 1/2 maybe 2 minutes late with my trigger, I couldnt get the darn thing to draw!! So hopefully thats not going to mess anything up!

WOW, i've been gone for a few days and so many wonderful things have happened. Congrats on everyone who had an ER or transfer - there are just too many to name!
AFM - still no sizable follicles, no more shots - the follistim just doesn't work on me. I go back on Sat to see if the clomid did anything, but it's not looking good. There's really nothing left to try, RE's talking about donor eggs. I'm sad there may never be a child that looks like me. Sorry to be a debbie downer.

@ADRIANAC1982 Yes having 19 measurable follicles (I assume that means close to maturity) is a very good thing!!! I had about 20, which led to a retrieval of 20 eggs total. Of those 12 were mature, but a lot of girls on here report a much higher maturity rate. You're doing well!!
@stranzm I'm so sorry about this news. I love your attitude, looking on the positive side that you want to give yourself the best chance possible. We have to listen to our bodies and our doctors, and do things when the timing is right. Hang in there girl!

@Sunnshine Awesome news for your embabies as well!! I know you are pumped to transfer on Thursday. I am sure you will feel much more at ease now that you have your boss up to speed. I included my boss when we got started because I knew I was going to need so much randomly scheduled time off and it was truly a stress relief. I kept them a little bit more in the dark this cycle with scheduling and everything so that way when I get a BFP it will be a little bit of a surprise

Anywho... @stranzm I'm so sorry to hear that they are going to be delyaing you and that you won't be able to do your fresh transfer. I had a bad case of OHSS and I found out on the day of ER that mine was a freeze all. It was hard to hear but at the end of they day they were trying to do what was best to give us the best chance for positive results. Keep your head up girlie, from my experience that time that I had to wait flew by

I have a semi-update. I couldn't wait anymore so I called my clinic and they transferred me to the lab. One of the embryologists picked up and I asked about our embryos. She said that they are currently doing the biopsies on them and that I will get a call with an update when they are finished. I'm guessing this means we have something to biopsy at least! I still won't be able to relax until I know the number... but hope is alive!!

Retrival was this morning and we got 17 eggs! My dr was happy because based on my last ultrasound he was guessing 12-15. But apparently some follicles he thought were too small to contain eggs, did! I get my first update in the morning!
To whoever asked about my discharge issue. I did tell the dr and he said it was very normal due to high estrogen levels.

So day 4, my nurser called to schedule to schedule my transfer tomorrow!! The embryologist a wants is transfer morning. We didn't get any update on embabies but she said if something was wrong they would of called me. When we arrive tomorrow, the embryologist along with our RE will discuss our grading and how many to transfer. It's getting so real!! I am took time today and just shopped the day away to keep distracted. These steroids have me all moody and nuts. I'm ready for bed and it's only a little after 5! Tomorrow can't come soon enough.

May 1- Start Lupron for long lupron protocol
May 13- Started Stims 300 follistim,75 menopur, 10 lupron stimmed for 10 days
May 24- 16 eggs retrieved, 12 mature eggs, 8 fertilized, 5 to blast. qty 2 day 6 AA blast. qty 3 7 day blast grades AA and AB.
Have 3 NORMAL PGS TESTED GIRLS. 1 "INCONCLUSIVE" embryo still good for use.
7/8- Started AF and Estraidol patches
8/2- FET scheduled ( HUBBY BDAY!!!) and my clinic automatically uses EMBRYO GLUE!
8/2- Transferred 1 6AA pgs tested girl
8/15 - Beta #1 137 I AM PREGNANT!!!! EDD 4/20/17
8/17- Beta #2 269
9/1- MISCARRIAGE. Baby stopped growing at 5 weeks 3 days.
10/19- Have Baseline for IVF#3. Fresh transfer.
10/21- Start stims 300 Follistim 150 Menopur and Ganirelix
11/2/16-ER 43 eggs retrieved. 15 mature. 9 Fertilized. All 9 still growing but 4 are leading and are 8 cell day 3 grade AA.
11/7/16- Fresh transfer of 1 embryo

Just had my last blood test before retrieval tomorrow!
Im good to go, I have my gatorade and cheetos per the nurses instructions and just wanna get this day over with....
I had a mini-freak out because I was maybe a minute and a 1/2 maybe 2 minutes late with my trigger, I couldnt get the darn thing to draw!! So hopefully thats not going to mess anything up!

AFM - still no sizable follicles, no more shots - the follistim just doesn't work on me. I go back on Sat to see if the clomid did anything, but it's not looking good. There's really nothing left to try, RE's talking about donor eggs. I'm sad there may never be a child that looks like me. Sorry to be a debbie downer.

IVF#3 scheduled August 2016 - estrogen & testosterone primed for 3 wks - ganirelix 7 days leading up to stim - 500 follistim, 75 menopur, 150 clomid , no follicle growth on day 6, stopped injectibles. Scanned day 9 just to check, some growth, 3 days 200 mg clomid, day 12 more growth, 100 follistim, 75 menopur, start ganirelix on day 13, ER = 0 eggs, ovulated to soon (
IVF#4 scheduled Sept 2016 - Microdose Flare protocol, cancelled stim day 6 converted to IUI (one dominant follicle)
IVF#5 December 2016 - New protocol, same results. My adventure is over.
