I wish I could share mine, but I've literally bought everything from yard sales and clearance racks lol. I'll have to snap a pic when I get home. I've filled a whole bassinet with clothes already
Dh is a big geek & bought this, so far its the only thing weve bought as everything else seems to be really geared towards either boys or girls & we dont have our anatomy scan until the 20th. My mum is horrified at the thought of novelty stuff for the baby which just makes it funnier!
Still looking for a wrap and I might sell my standard Tula and get a different one....
I'm all about the baby wearing, especially chasing a toddler!
No clothes until we know the gender (we have a girl already). I also need another car mirror, and some new bottles. Other then that we really have what we need!
So I thought this might be an okay place to post this: I am kind of overwhelmed about what I need to buy and when to buy it! This is my first baby, and we will get a lot of hand-me-downs from my fiancé's siblings, but I'm not sure how much of everything I will need! (i.e bottles, burp cloths etc.) I'm only 11 weeks so I know I have some time but I'm a planner! Any help/guidance is welcome
Found this high chair and playpen in the 50% off clearance at my local Target. I told myself I wouldn't buy any big stuff yet but I cannot resist an amazing deal!
Woof. I have no money to buy anything yet. Husband is still looking for a job and I'm off work this final week to recover from my concussion. We broke right now.
I have a the crib and dresser/changing table that I bought off of craigslist. Need to get a pic of it. But it is a nice crate and barrel set New it is over a 1,000 just for the crib.
@LaurenAshley04 I have already bought a ridiculous amount of cloth diapers! My stash is pretty varied, as I've been shopping clearance from a lot of stores.
@WinchesterGirl - I'm looking at prefolds and covers. We have super sensitive skin... So natural fibers I think is safest. I can't wear Zorb so I figure they wont be able to either!
Favorite Brands? Any Deals to point me too? I was going to start practicing on my toddler (she's less then 2 so not potty trained) LOL
I'm so jealous! I'll probably need to wait until September to start shopping. Just did out the August budget, and the wedding I'm in at the end of the month is slowly bleeding me dry. This bridesmaid stuff is truly intense. So glad I'm a "just a few close girlfriends" type!
@LaurenAshley04 I've really liked sweet pea covers for NB size. They seem a lot trimmer than the others, and the prints are cute! Prefolds, I only bought a few but I would kind of troll around a lot of smaller CD stores looking for sales. If you don't mind different brands as long as they are natural fibers, you can find good deals! I think I paid $3 once for an AIO NB because it was on uber clearance.
Either tonight or this weekend we're going to make a run to Babys R Us or Buy Buy Baby so we can start to take a look at some things we've been looking at online and start to finalize some items on our list.

@lfrank12 I soooo wanted that play yard to match! I got the same high chair, and the stroller/car seat combo set when I found them half off. Lucky for me, my store also had the wrong signs up that said additional 20% off all clearance (was just supposed to be clothing) so I got such a good deal!
I have bought so much stuff already... I am a complete bargain shopper. I have an assortment of boy and girl clothing, a swing, an awesome monitor, the car seat, stroller, and high chair, a breast pump.... so much stuff already for a FTM but I dont care! My husband said don't people buy some of this for a shower gift? I said I would rather buy the stuff I want when its 50-70% off, and let them buy the stuff I can't find deals on!
I haven't bought anything as of yet but I'm going to a consignment sale next week and hoping to score a pack and play. I'm dying to buy babywearing gear but waiting until we know what we're having.
Rachel, mama to Ava (6), Olivia (4), Nora (2), and baby#4 on the way.
I've only bought one little gender neutral outfit because I couldn't resist. I've also received a twin bed and dresser for free that I'm going to paint and put in my oct 14s room so that new baby can have the crib and long dresser for changing pad.
My home renovation projects are keeping me from shopping, but I did break down and buy a onesie from Target that says "Taco bout how cute I am." Taco is our nickname for our kid. I don't know where it came from, but it stuck very early on. Also, my husband owns this tshirt. He just... really loves tacos. So. I have plans.
@CarsAndLove What a steal with the extra 20% off - now I'm jealous! And jealous you found the matching stroller! I'm a FTM also and I agree with finding as many deals as possible. Hoping over the next few months my Target has another good selection of clearance stuff!
All I have bought so far is a couple books, hypnobirthing and birth without fear. We are picking up a second hand bouncy seat this week, as we were sure we were done after baby #2 and gave away all our baby stuff
I had bought a matching Graco set--carseat, stroller, and pack and play back in December, otherwise it's mostly been small things. Organizers/caddies, a set of burp cloths, a pair of socks that have stuffed bear faces on the toes (because awwwww). Also maternity clothes. I got a size bigger than I normally wear and I'm still a good 15lbs down from the morning sickness, but I love baggy clothes and they are so comfortable. I'm getting quite a few handmedowns from my cousin as well since her boys have outgrown all their infant stuff. I'm kind of trying to keep a minimalist mindset though, mostly because we don't have a lot of financial freedom and want to have a decent amount stashed away for emergencies/house repairs/unforseen circumstances. She'll likely outgrow clothes so fast I'm a bit hesitant to buy many outfits at first.
I finally pulled the trigger and bought baby wrangler jeans! H came with to the 12 week appt and is acting totally different now...had to foster that while I can!
I bought a onesie from Target. It has an AC/DC logo on it (my favorite band). It was on sale for $6. We had just finished making a registry at Buy Buy Baby and were perusing Target's baby stuff.
@Shawlls thank you so much! The most important thing for me is that my husband, the baby, and I are healthy and safe. Jobs come and go. Shit happens. Yes I'm mad. But my family is the most important thing to me.
Well being a STM this time, we still have a lot of stuff from my daughter, who's under 2. But we did get a cradle and some gender neutral clothing. I was given a second monitor so I can keep an ear on both at once. And our daughter even picked out a frog lovey for the baby the other day, she picked it up & said baby, so that will be her present to the new baby when its born. we also bought a new diaper bag and boppie.
OUR FAMILY is a circle of LOVE! TOGETHER we are UNBREAKABLE! FAMILY is FOREVER! There's a RAINBOW of HOPE after EVERY STORM! And a POT-OF-GOLD at the END of EVERY RAINBOW!
My favorite thing I found was this swing in almost new condition at once apon a child. I had borrowed the same swing when my son was born and it saved our lives. He used it for at least 7 months. It was $40. I hate borrowing things. I have too much anxiety about something happening to it.
I bought this zebra stuff animal Sorry it's huge! I also got a white blanket and a white bunny lovey. I am waiting on clothes because I am a fan of punks and blues. So I have to be patient.

Should.
Didn't stop me from buying:
a new diaper bag
a new (to me, but used) inline stroller
a bassinet set for our travel crib
a sleep sack
Still on the list:
newborn cloth diapers (only CDd when DD was 6m+)
highchair (gave away our old one)
Aside from the highchair, I don't neeeeeeed any of it.
But....but...shiny! New! Sigh.
