Hi Newbies! Welcome to the community!
Some great tips for benefiting from this wonderful community:
- Read the Newbie Thread pinned at the top of this board. It is full of really helpful TTC advice and knowledge.
- Participate! Join the WTO (Waiting to Ovulate) and TWW (Two Week Wait) threads. This is a great place to let everyone know where you are at in your cycle, rant and/or rave about anything (TTC-related or not), and have any questions answered.
Please introduce yourselves. Share as much or as little as you are comfortable with.

So I'm not really a newbie, but I probably am to most people here, so I'll intro!
I've been active on TB since last May, lurked for a long time before that, and was on The Knot way before that. If some of you have been around that long (or are back!) I'm FKA Katetastrophe. I took a break from TTGP for a while, but now...I'm back! Excited to get to know all of you!
***TW losses mentioned below***
Anyway, I'm 29, DH is 30. We've been TTC#1 for about 14 months now and have had three miscarriages in a row since December. We are almost done with IF testing. I was diagnosed with PCOS and we'll likely resume TTC in September pending answers from the RE.
No kids, I have one cat and a dog who I am OBSESSED with. I'm a photographer part-time, non-profit manager full-time. I really like wine, tea towels, snacks, and the color yellow. Hobbies include Netflix binging, crafting, and playing the ukulele.
I am also a fan of the elastic waistband.
Fun fact: I look like/have the personality of Liz Lemon, hence the SN. I didn't know this until a few years ago when half a dozen people had asked me if I'd watched 30 Rock because it seemed like Liz Lemon was ME.

We are TFAS starting this cycle though, and I'm here for the WTO/TWW threads. We are not trying too hard -- I know when to expect O, but I refuse to temp & all that jazz unless we get 2 cycles in without a positive test.
This is my first month at TFAS. I am just getting back into the swing of things and refreshing my memory about how all this temping and charting works. I have been at least keeping temps, but that is as far as it goes at the moment. If we fail to get pregnant within a few cycles, I think I may invest in OPKs and the like as it helped when we were trying for my daughter.
As for what just a little nugget about me. I love to run. I am just getting back into a lengthy training cycle after finishing a 10-miler in June. I love to be outdoors and spending time with friends, oh and I love baking, although my waistline doesn't.
Looking forward to getting to know you all!

How many months have you been TTC?: TW*Loss:
Our ttc journey started in May 2015 when I stopped bc, but we TTA until August 2015. Got a BFP that month!! October 2015 at our second appointment we learned there was no more little heartbeat had a d&c a couple days later. Then we TTA until June 2016 since we moved back to our home state and I got a new job. Still TTC#1.
WAYDTGKU: June I temped, July I used OPKS, I wanted to start temping again, but I've been waking up super early cuz it's so hot and it's thrown off my temping so far this cycle. Hopefully tomorrow I can start again! And my friend that is KU gave me all of her opks to use! Woot! lol. Also PNV.
Tell us about yourself: No other kids or furbabies...I like crafts and wine and being with friends, working out, and just relaxing also. I coordinate worksite wellness programs for a living. DH does sales for a living and can always make me laugh!

Ages (you and SO): I'm 34, DH is 33. We've been together 10 years, married almost 4.
This is the first official month. We had a surprise BFP last month, but we had a loss at about 5 weeks. We had been talking about trying again, so we decided to just go for it this month.
Welcome to TTGP ladies! Good luck, and I hope your stay here is a short one!!

Hi everyone! I have been lurking for a while now and figured it was finally time to introduce myself.
Ages (you and SO): I am 29, DH is about to be 31.
How many months have you been TTC? 3 months
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Right now just taking PNVs and checking CM/CP. As time goes on I am sure I will add to that...
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) DH and I have been together for 11 years, and will be married for one in September. We have two dogs, and have decided it is finally time to expand our family in a non-canine way. I had some issues when I was a teen that my Dr. suspected could be associated with endometriosis, and my family has a pretty long history of fertility issues, so I have gone into this process with the expectation that it will most likely take a while. I look forward to getting to know you all!

I've been lurking for about a month-- I introduced myself in the huge newbie post and then realized that that one isn't used anymore, oops!
I am 33 years old and my H is 35
This is our first cycle TTC this go around
This month I used OPKS, and CM. I plan on charting next month if, and probably when I get a BFN. I just have a feeling it's not my month, or maybe just knowing how most people don't get pregnant on the first try.
I am a SAHM with 4 kids, and this will be our 5th. I am not ubber religious, or crazy... well maybe a little! We just feel like 5 is it, then no more, for real. My H is a doctor we so can keep them all fed and in good health I have a daughter who is 12 and sons who are 10,8, and 3.
I hope to get to know you all!
& @BusinessWife - I want a slew of kids too! So far I only have H convinced of one though..

Good luck to everyone!
@KirstinH88 @BusinessWife @Westy99 @momomsess I'd love 6 kids but I struggled convincing DH that 3 was good. Even now we're at 2 if it's a boy and girl and a third if the first two are the same sex. I'm hoping we have three and then on the third one end up with triplets or something. My aunt did have triplets without any fertility treatment so I guess it's possible.
TTC since August 2018
DH and I have been together for 6 years, married for a little less than that. I'm an actuarial analyst, which is a fancy word for either pricing insurance policies, or calculating their losses.
We have 1 fur baby (yorkie) who is our pride and joy! Haha I have to study a lot for my job (you have to pass 9 exams that are HARD) so my hobbies are a bit limited these days... but I enjoy running and cooking! I'm trying to get into better shape... I was doing great but fell off the bandwagon after staying with Dh in the hospital during his surgery.
Anyhow, it's nice to read about everyone! Looking forward to getting to know all of you better!
Ages (you and SO): I'm 26 and hubs is 27.
