**TMI describing what it's like to have a SCH with heavy bleeding***
Update on how I've been doing? I made a poor decision and decided to go into work (ICU nurse) yesterday, and I started passing a lot of clots and bleeding very heavily. I bled through 3 of my overnight super pads, and at the end of shift, it gave it its last final straw and actually made my scrub pants bottom a puddle of blood. Cue me tying my scrub jacket around my waist and being super awkward. At home that night, it got a little worse and bled through another pad where it started dripping to the floor at my feet while I was standing. I checked my vitals and all were normal, but I did begin to feel dizzy and shaky and weak. I'm stubborn, so I did not go to the ER. It wasn't really "bleeding through a pad in an hour" because it would happen after a few gushes over 3 hours. I did ruin my white shorts, my white pajama pants, and my white bathroom rug all in less than 24 hours. I'm not having a good time.
I only describe what it's like to have the bleeding so others can be informed if they ever have to go through it.. apparently bedrest really is the answer, and standing/walking for 13 hours WILL make your bleeding worse. I don't know what to expect when I go to the doctor today, but I dont have high hopes. Idk how to proceed. But if there is a heartbeat, I am getting that doctors note and not going to work!
ETA: Omgsh the size of my belly yeaterday, I have never experienced this, but it was so swollen (bloat??) and firm that I literally looked 6 months pregnant. Even DH was taken aback by it. And I can't suck it in. I must have like 15 in there. Or just blood and gas. But jeez louise.

Oh I just read your update - I hate that for you! Has the bleeding subsided yet? Please please take it easy. I'm hoping baby is still thriving in there. <hugs to you>
The same thing happened to be for my second around 6 weeks. I had a large blood clot/hemorrhage that was 3 times bigger than the gestational sac. My doctor put me on 200 mg progesterone shots twice a day for the 1st trimester. I bled pretty heavily a few times during the 1st trimester. But the baby stayed strong. The shots were painful, but the progesterone saved my second child's life. He was born at 35 weeks. He is now turning 3 next Monday. Prayers for you.
@STBMrsMartin Thank you!!! I love to hear a happy ending as well as you taking progesterone shots. I will ask about that.
@LinziLoo09 I've been laying down since last night and it has subsided. Spotting, mostly light red, but spotting, no gushing.
Oh question! Last night during the epic horror, it was so so watery! The blood looked diluted and light pink and very very thin (hence probably why it ran everywhere down my legs and on to the floor). Any ideas? I need to add this to my list of what's been going on, and questions.

@Sugargirl1019 Still sending T&P your way, sweetie. Hoping for a healthy LO for you and a way to manage the blood flow/safety of the baby, if possible.

So.. Hematoma looks a little smaller than Friday, but there's still a large clot that will probably make its way out. Baby.... well.. a fetal pole was there, measuring 6+2 with no HB.. and I'm 7+1 today. She thought baby looked bigger and more defined this time (didn't do a measurement I guess on Friday). My HCG was 58,357 on Friday 6+4. We redrew HCG and H&H today to see where this going. She's not calling it yet because baby looks bigger. She was really hopeful we'd see that HB today though. The size of the SCH today makes her not very excited today.. I just wish I could get some good news. So that being said, I have a doctors note to not work for the next week. Next appt is Monday to follow up regardless of what happens this week. Now I have to go have the uncomfortable conversation with my manager about taking Friday Saturday Monday Tuesday off. I'm dreading it, and I have to tell her why.

Your manager will absolutely understand, you aren't calling out for funsies! Is there someone that can come spend time with you this weekend to help the time pass faster? A distraction might be welcomed. I'm praying for great news on Monday. I'm praying for your heart this weekend, that it will be protected from the stress you are under. Hugs, mama.

Thanks for the update.. will be praying all week for you and your little one.. fingers crossed so hard for a heartbeat..i hope you can find someone/something to distract you... maybe a binge watch of some show
