  I have been lurking other BMBs that are months behind us just to feel better about this pregnancy and how far I have come.

  I love having baby here! But I would totally go back to anatomy scan week any day. There is something so special about pregnancy and all of the excitement that comes with it! You are so close!!!!

  @midwestbaby I did the same earlier this week!! With all these babies coming, I'm getting super anxious. And I've had 0 signs of anything happening early. Still only 36 weeks, but I was hoping for at least a few BH to start or something.

  I think I may ask my mom to watch our kids so I can "run errands". This means going to the local fair and eating everything I can without having to pay for the kids, take them on rides, play games, and whatever else they would want to do. Let's see if I can talk DH into it!

  @LWC1112 I havent had a single Braxton hicks and I'm 39+2!! Ugh I need baby to start dropping like yesterday.

  FFFC - I taught the dog the command "clean up" so I don't have to pick up things I drop while cooking. Last night she got lettuce AND cheese. Now she lurks... waiting...

  FFFC - I tried out my breast pump the other night. I know you're supposed to check with your doctor first but, I'm only a few days from my due date so what's the harm? No contractions, unfortunately, but I have a random ounce of colostrum in my freezer now! lol

  I've been ignoring calls from the diabetes center that I have to send my numbers in to all week. I ranted about it in the GD thread but all my numbers have been under where they need to be and I'm not on insulin or anything. They are trying to insist that I come in for a check up which involves them looking over my numbers, asking what I eat, and sending me on my way. I'm 12 days away from having this baby I don't have time for unnecessary appointments. Especially when I email my numbers to them every Wednesday. I will not answer the phone, nope not today. Or any day.

  @Allisun85 when I was growing up our cue for dropped food was always peanut for our dogs. I'm not sure why. I'm guessing because my dad always ate peanuts and threw them to the dog. When I moved out and got my dog that we have now she learned peanut, too. Unfortunately we like to call DD Peanut, so sometimes it really confuses the dog when we say stuff like "come here Peanut". She comes running in looking all over for the dropped food. Clean up sounds like a way better cue.

  I'm planning on having sex with DH tonight, not because I want to (even a little, actually  ) but because I'm hoping it will get things moving. DH wasn't thrilled when I told him this, but it's the least he can do, when I've been growing this baby for over 38 weeks.

  @Bookhousegirl haha I've been considering doing the same and mentioned it to DH last night. Kinda scared just because I have a feeling everything down there is gonna be super duper sensitive, although I'm not sure what I'm basing that on. Not sure if DH is on board though, if I'm not really into stuff in the bedroom it's usually a no go for him, especially if there's a chance I'll be in pain.

  @car0liiine TMI but we tried it recently and everything is so swollen down there I actually didn't feel much. It certainly didn't feel like I hoped it would, but it didn't hurt either.

  @bookhousegirl LOL! when I brought it up to DH he looked excited, then thoughtful, then wrinkled his nose a little and said "Won't it be weird?"  Get over it dear.

  In my PP case, I am still sore down there from stitches so thinking or seeing the word, "sex," just triggers this bruised feeling down there. 
  
  I felt like a cow ever since I started nursing but the other night, DH found it so sexy while I was nursing baby A - as a FTM, I still don't see how he got turned on by me nursing our baby, lol. He knows this time is no bueno zone though but I teased him by initiating a make out session and he stopped me. Why? He said he needs to maintain self control but making out would just make make him lose it. Oh the struggle.
  
  FFFC: I do miss the urge that he has but right now, I am so A-OK without it! Omg what if I never get it back?! Nah...that won't happen......

  We tried sex the other day and I'm pretty sure that is why my whole body was tired the next day.  Plus, down there looks crazy scary swollen.  The worst part, we got interrupted by kids waking up, so we didn't finish...... what a waste!

  And another for fun - I have no joy or excitement about washing and folding little baby clothes.  So many things to fold!  They are already stacked nicely, why mess it up.

  @ThisisNumber3 I'm with you about wanting the crazies to come out. My Jan '15 board was covered in them. This board has been way too tame, which is why I stopped participating and checking the app for a few months.

  I bought a new deodorant for my hospital bag, thinking my current stick would for sure last me until I have to give birth. Now that I know I won't be induced for another week and a half, two weeks, I worry way too much about if my deodorant will last and if I should just start using DH's.

  I don't think the board is boring, I just think we are at that weird crossroad where a decent bit of regulars have had their babies and the rest of us are waiting for babies. July who has been feisty this whole time has dulled down a lot because everyone is in new mommy zombie mode. 
  
  On my last BMB the middle of the night thread was by far the most popular once the babies came.

  My FFFC is that I'm going to attempt to have as much sex as possible the next 3-4 weeks because after that I become a sex camel for at least 6-10 weeks!!

  I don't think I'll be able to convince DH to have sex with me, but I'm definitely going to try once I hit 37 weeks, if I have any energy left, lol.

No idea what my hesitation is, had no problem feeling cervix before pregnancy. I think I've just made my vagina an off limits area to anyone without a medical degree lol.

  I don't think this is recommended due to increased risk for infection, which is why many doctors don't do them...  But hey, do you!

  I'm nervous to have sex... It has been a few weeks and I'm so sensitive down there. And well I feel like a sweaty mess. But since the opportunity could really be taken away at any given moment, I'm going to see if DH wants to give it a go this weekend. Thanks for the encouragement ladies.

  Chiming in on the sex talk...DH and I have been having A LOT of sex the past couple of weeks but we haven't in a few days. I've been feeling a lot of pressure the last day or two and found out I'm 1cm dilated with a thin cervix so maybe we'll give it a shot tonight in hopes it will at the very least help me progress more.

  We haven't had sex in awhile. DH is not turned on by the whole pregnancy thing. He doesn't like the big belly. I'm ok with that, I feel disgusting and don't want him anywhere near my lady bits. 
  
  I don't think I'd try an at-home cervical check but once my doctor said her head is super low, I had to feel for myself. I didn't have to reach far (about to my second knuckle on my middle finger) and I felt it. That was enough vagina poking for me.

  I wouldn't say "scrub up" but I'm pretty weird in that he does shower typically right before (lately everytime) and I'm pretty sensitive so he uses really mild unscented soap...

  The last couple weeks I was pregnant I really wanted to have sex to help things along, but every night I was just too exhausted to actually do it. Now 6 days pp and I'm pissed I didn't get around to it last week! I want sex now and it's not happening anytime soon not that I'd be able to stay awake after the baby falls asleep, but still...
   get it on ladies!

  I'm just jealous that all of you even want sex whether you have it or not. I think the last time we had sex was one night when we had our babymoon in May. I don't even masturbate. At this rate the next time we do it might be when we try for #2 as far as I'm concerned . . .

  I told DH no masturbating this next week because I need all his extra sperm for labor inducing sex ha! (He only has half the working factory due to testicular cancer). I think this is his favorite week of the pregnancy.

  I'm trying to talk myself into having sex with DH but I am so exhausted by the time we go to bed that he hasn't gotten any in weeks. My RCS is in 12 days though so I at least need to give it up a few times before then.
