Erianna Brooklen. My first name is a non traditional spelling of Erica and my husband wanted to honor my dad who passed away last year by spelling our daughters name differently like my dad did with my sister and I, and I wanted to include his name so I ended her middle name -len- because it's the last 3 of my husband's first name.
We have a few options in the running: Fitzgerald "Fitz" William Frederick William Henrik William
william is a family name on both sides. Think we will wait to meet him to decide! We already have a June Josephine and I think all three options sound good with June.
We're between Emilia and Everly at this point. Nicknames either Em, Emma, Mia(?), or Evie. I'm torn between the two names. I love them both, and am growing more attached to both names every day. Help!!
@Katemr1146 I think they sound cute together have you thought of naming her Emilia Everly? Then you can call her Mia or name her Mia Everly that way you get to use both!
Iris Zarmina. Zarmina is our doctor's first name and she's been so good to our family- truly above and beyond. I could explain it but it'd take a full paragraph. But we very much want to honor her through our daughter's middle name. Iris surprised us. We never thought of it as a name but my husband came across it and it just clicked for both of us.
Alright... I need help! DH and I are thinking about baby girl names. We thought we had decided, but I keep on going back and forth on our decision. Middle name is Clarice after DH's Grandmother. Last name is REALLY long (14 letters, and that's not even a hyphenated name) so we want to keep the first name simple. Our last name begins with an M and we've both agreed we don't want any first names that begin with an M. Here's what we have on our favorites so far:
DH and I are currently deciding between two very similar sounding names — Elena and Alana. Middle name would be Maria (family name) and our last name starts with an M. DH likes Alana, but seems to think that it will get shortened to just 'Lana' which he he loves and I HATE. He's ok with Elena but thinks it should be spelled with an A (Alayna or Alaina) and I am not a fan of altering traditional spellings to be a speshul snowflake. I do like that Alana is less popular currently than Elena. Hmm ...

Not that my opinion matters to your daughter, but I think Emilia is much prettier!

Of your suggestions I like Juliana and Amelia the best.
I know a lot of people like and use short versions of names, but I prefer a longer legal name and then using the shorter nickname. Ellie is adorable, but an adult woman would likely prefer having Eleanor, Elizabeth, Eloise, etc for resumes or to have that option.
C.harlotte R.ose (first and middle) R.ose is DH's grandma's name and we've both been in love with the name C.harlie for so long! She wouldn't have had any other name. We tried opening our minds to other options but You can't mess with fate.
Me: 33 | DH: 34

Finnegan Ciaran James Lyons, our firstborn son helped with the name, hence the 2 middle names. Finnegan was my pick if we ended up with another boy, Ciaran was my husband's pick, our son knew both names we were thinking so after the hubby conceded to me, our son decided that the baby needed to be named Ciaran too.
I had picked Carson when we first found out I was pregnancy but I wanted it for a girl Boyfriend wanted it for either. When we found out that it'd a boy we couldn't come to an agreement but finally we found Dex and both love it so his name will be Dex Kieron Douglas. Kieron is Boyfriend's given name since the baby will have my last name and Douglas is my dad
I want the name Rocco soooo bad. My husband wants nothing to do with it but has agreed only because he thinks "he'll never win" I want us both to love the name and I don't think that's possible.
He really wants the name Maddox which I don't like.
To top it all off, we had agreed on the name Max the day we found out it was a boy, and my brother and sister Inlaw just named their newborn Max last week -_-
I really like both those names! You could do a combo. Rocco Maddox or Maddox Rocco and each call him your favorite. I have a friend whose parents did that.
