@sweetyjenj I've heard of the oil pulling, but I hate coconut... that would likely make me puke. I also have an easy time getting cavities. I have low flouride, so my teeth are more 'open.' My toothpaste is high flouride so I can't do the high flouride rinse - since my body doesn't use it right it starts giving me 'flouridosis' (or something like that), but essentially a layer of my gums pull off. Every time. It's annoying... I think I'll just need to be better
@Mylitta I can't stand people like that. I have a friend that did something similar. She told me she never took PNV bring her pregnancy and that you can get all you need from eating right... at the same time telling me that she had the worst morning sickness throughout her pregnancy and couldn't get anything down.... does any of that even make sense? She asked me what I was going to do at the end of the world when there was no pharmacy to obtain my PNVs and everything else... and continued on lecturing me like this.. I just said well I don't have to worry about that right now so I'm going to get take everything like I am because it's working for me.

@cabu14 because the end of the world is totally gonna be during the course of your pregnancy and you gotta plan out how to get those PNV. *sigh* people.
Telling our families went great! Everyone was really surprised and excited. My sister cried. Twice. My Dad kept hugging us and couldn't stop staring at the u/s picture. My MIL and Mom were SO excited. Couldn't have gone better! So glad to be out of the pregnancy closet.

Holy shit, the hip pain. Starting at 14 weeks on the dot, I can barely get through the night without waking up every hour or maybe even less to turn over because of the terrible hip pain on the side that I'm sleeping on. I love to sleep on my back but am avoiding that since it's now 2nd Tri. I tried a pillow between my legs last night and that seemed to make it worse. I moved to our guest bed because it's softer and that helped some, but I am still majorly sore this morning. Is anyone experiencing this/have you experienced this before, and if so, what are your pillow suggestions? I am trying to walk and do yoga as much as possible, but I can't imagine having to deal with this for the next 5 months. I am not really even showing so I was shocked that this started so early, I didn't expect it until late 3rd Tri

@kellybean1988 I've been having this for the past week also. I was always a stomach sleeper but now it's so uncomfortable. I toss and turn from side to side all night and my hip pain is terrible. My H was trying to convince me to get some type of pregnancy pillow or body pillow, but I really don't know how that will help, so I haven't tried anything yet. Sorry, I'm no help, but I can commiserate.

Whoops, sorry I posted this in the wrong thread, guys!
@sldp123 I am glad to hear I'm not the only one, but I'm SO SORRY you're going through this as well. It is really awful and I dread going to sleep each night. I will let you know if I find any pillow solutions!!

@kellybean1988 I've been dealing with this too! I've always been a stomach sleeper so insisted on a firmer bed. My pregnant self has hated my bed picking out self every time. I tried the pillow thing and didn't get any relief so I definitely toss and turn from side to side or wake up with my hips totally asleep. I have a feeling I'll end up with a pregnancy pillow or something but for now I've been wadding up the comforter and shoving it between my legs. it helps some but certainly not enough to make sleeping a ton of fun
kellybean1988 I have sciatica issues so I had some of that even in 1st. But it got better after a bit. I'm starting to feel what I think is RLP... only sometimes. It's no fun either. I've been doing the whole half stomach half side sleeping (except for right now as I must sleep seated on the couch - stupid cold). You could try that. Or get a body pillow and snuggle it? Both are supposed to help.
@katesmama@sldp123 Sorry you feel it too! I think the idea is you snuggle the pillow. Like one leg over it type of thing. So your leg is supported, but no pressure on the other leg so your hips are aligned with your legs? I'm guessing. I tried the pillow between the legs, no help.
@mylitta that's what I've been doing! The leg I'm laying on straight, the opposite curled up over the pillow but I've found it makes my belly uncomfortable and cramped feeling so I'm back to square one.
@katesmama0706 Well, then I got nothing. I haven't come to that point yet - I think - so that was my best guess. If you figure something out, please let us know
@Mylitta here's hoping! It's driving me nuts cause I really think all the sucky symptoms I'm dealing with (headaches, mild occasional naseua, crankiness) have less to do with pregnancy and more to do with not sleeping well
