2) How are you feeling this week? Any new symptoms? Any old symptoms disappear? I'm doing okay - still a bit of morning sickness here and there, but the all day nausea is gone. Definitely more RLP in the last few days.
3) When is your first (or next) appointment? Had my 16 week OB appointment this morning. Anatomy Scan is on 8/17!!!
4) Rants/Raves/Other? Finally got to hear the heartbeat today - it was 158, and just so cool to hear. Each week this is becoming more and more real!
5) GTKY: What's your biggest pet peeve? So I pose this question...and not 100% sure how to answer, LOL! I guess it would be people in my generation that have no work ethic - they just want things handed to them without any hard work. It makes embarrasses me to be part of the millenial generation!
1) If you haven't participated before, please introduce yourself. Hello, I am an older mother, conceived through IVF, expecting twins. This is mine and Hubbies first pregnancy. He has no other children and I had other children but wanted more. I was 215 pounds at beginning of pregnancy, I am 15.5 weeks along and have gained 3 pounds. I am watching what I eat very closely to make sure that I eat well and keep the calories down. 2) How are you feeling this week? Any new symptoms? Any old symptoms disappear? I am almost feeling not pregnant except for the little flutters, I have started to feel. 3) When is your first (or next) appointment? I go in every 2 weeks right now because of my being considered very high risk. My next appointment is next Tuesday. 4) Rants/Raves/Other? I am surprised and happy that I am not feeling very pregnant. I really don't look very pregnant yet either so I am good with that too. 5) GTKY: What's your biggest pet peeve? I would have to say the people who touch my belly and say are you sure you are pregnant with twins, it doesn't look like it. When I had my 3rd pregnancy I was almost 8 months pregnant before I started showing and then just over night whoop there it was!
2) How are you feeling this week? Any new symptoms? Any old symptoms disappear? Baby is 17 weeks today and the size of a pomegranate. I have an at-home fetal doppler and was finally able to find the heartbeat loud and clear within a few seconds of trying. It used to take me several minutes to find it and it was always so faint. My belly has started to itch...a lot. I've been moisturizing but I'm guessing some stretch marks will be coming in soon. 3) When is your first (or next) appointment? July 29th for a general office visit. 4) Rants/Raves/Other? People at work have been making comments that I'm not gaining any weight. They're right, I haven't but all of the growth is going to my belly. I try not to let the comments bother me because my dr said that my pregnancy is going great. 5) GTKY: What's your biggest pet peeve? People who lie to cover their own butts.
What's new with baby? Baby Avocado? Moving and kicking starting. Have you done anything this week to prepare for baby? No not much. Going through sons clothes that don't fit to box up for his brother. Rants / raves / questions / symptoms:
When's your next appointment? August
GTKY: What's your biggest pet peeve? Texting and driving. People who chew ice.
I have lost 2 pounds and am 216 right now, which I think is great. The doctor said that he would like to see me gain less than 20 pounds if that is possible. He also said that if I didn't gain anything it would be fine as long as the babies are growing.
