I have several friends who were due this summer and the last of them just had her baby today! Now I'm next, woah!
Also, we did a test run of setting up the PnP next to our bed to make sure it fits. It's perfect! Seeing it like that makes it feel so real. Nesting mode for the rest of the weekend...
When The Walking Dead ended last season, I said to H, "When next season starts, we'll have a peanut!" The trailer for the new season just came out... Holy crap.

Something I just thought of... Everyone should check their vehicle registration. If your renewal date is anywhere near October, I'd consider going ahead and taking care of that

I got the reminder in the mail on Friday! I am going to do it online, but my license expires this year. My birthday is October 5, so I have to see how early I can get it. I don't want to look 9 months pregnant in my ID for the next 4 years!

My husbands birthday is Oct 15, but both vehicles are registered under me. So phew, one less thing to worry about!!
Oh and DH and I practically finished the nursery today. Since LO is going to be sleeping our room in a PnP for a while, I'm not even bothering with the crib for now. But, all the handmedowns have been organized and put away! All we need now is the stuff from the shower and his room will be done!

The pile of clothes I don't fit is getting bigger. I outgrew almost everything in the last 4 weeks with DS, buti had to go shopping again this time at 26 weeks.
Also the countdown is on, she could be here anywhere from 10-14 weeks from now, that isn't long!
DD1 and I set up a private registry at Target today (completion coupon ftw) and suddenly I feel like we have no time at all. The 8 weeks before due date to get the coupon is in just a couple weeks!! Yikes!
I've determined that I'm to the point now where I look pregnant enough that strangers who see me feel bad for me- case in point, at the grocery store today DS grabs an open bag of cherries as we walk by and a bunch scatter to the floor. Some nice older lady bends over and starts to pick them up while I'm doing toddler damage control, before I can get to them. Then a different older woman tells me I look "beautiful" in the checkout line while DS fusses at me - little things like that are so sweet.
@mrszoess He told me "any day now". I've had the steroid shot for the baby's lungs and I'm on progesterone. There's really nothing else I can do other than remain on bed rest and wait.
I'm pretty sure I'll be our first birth announcement.
Edited because I missed a period

@PCOSbaby with my first, I had a shortened cervix at 26 weeks and found out I was 2 cm dilated at 33 weeks (dilated to 3 cm by 35 weeks) and I ended up making it to 39 weeks without bed rest, so there's hope! Sending good vibes your way.
Hoping everything will turn out just great @PCOSbaby
Married 11-11-11 TTC only since Dec 2015. I had some weight to get off. Been working hard in the gym for over a year. BFP 02-15-16 with our first IT'S A BOY!!!
@PCOSbaby hopefully that baby stays put! A girl in my last bmb was dilated forever, on bedrest, wound up being taken off bed rest at 37 weeks, dilated to 5, and delivered at 39+! Hopefully you have a similar story..
My belly has surpassed my boobs, by a lot. I feel like I completely popped in the past week or two. DH's old shirts that I sleep in from high school are getting too small and my belly hangs out, lol.
Our best friend's wife had her little girl yesterday! Now it's our turn and our little girls will get to grow up together
ETA: I painted my toenails on Friday and I'm pretty sure that's the last time I will be able to do that on my own.
@PCOSbaby Sending positive thoughts and prayers your way! I hope you can keep that baby in there just a little bit longer.
I decided last night that this peanut needs to stay in until at least 10/10 so that I won't have to go back to work before the new year. I work in college admissions and we just started admitting for our 10/10 start date... it's so close!
