Also, side note.. TB is way more strict post exodus.. Those threads were what made everything spicy! We (last bmb) used to gif war other boards and it was a good ol' time.
Yeah I'm really hoping nobody except our little trespasser got warnings here! I think all was on the up and up but sometimes there's no rhyme or reason to these things.
Thanks for the love ladies! Don't worry, I am not feeling bad about my body because of her. Of course, once it is actual baby, I will be happier, but for now, it is what it is. My whole body just is what it is.
Married - 7/29/06 Ben and Maggie - 4/10/09 Mia - 6/16/11 Surprise! due 2/23/17
@cricci05 your bump is incredibly adorable! It's unfortunate we seem to have lost site of this original post. Celebrating our baby bumps!! Come on ladies, let's rise above the pettiness and raging hormones. There's more important things to rant/rave about... like the fact that some of us are entering T2 this week! What a relief and blessing!

I will say this anytime it comes up as it is something I feel strongly about-please don't equate "opinions" to "hormones." Every human on the planet has hormones. Without them we'd forget to eat or sleep. And yet, you only see them used as an excuse to discredit opinions when women are involved. I mostly slept through last night's events, but share the opinion expressed by many that a poster in this thread who has been nothing but kind on this board was rudely body shamed and am glad the incident was called out.

Yeahhhhhh, actually, I'm pretty offended by the suggestion that my sense of right and wrong could be affected by my hormones.
Can I just say that I'm feeling the love from @Janefelicity
As ive mentioned before i feel more comfortable here than j17 with being right at the end & convinced i'll run into feb anyways (& also more my kind of people) so ive kinda decided i go here now!

GOOOOD. Welcome aboard! I'm right on the edge too (officially my DD is 1/31 now haha) and feel the same way. Also, on topic, I'm super envious right now of all the 2nd+ time moms who are showing already. My tummy actually shrank from where I started (lost over 17lbs due to M/S) and I'm trying not to be bummed about it. Looking forward to participating on this thread for realsies!
Just wanted to come say way to defend your own against an awful body shamer. What she did was awful and so unnecessary. @Partyof6? Your bump is beautiful and I hope you feel so and ignore the complete and total rudeness of her.
Hi all! I'm an O16'r lurking with my 9 weeks pregnant girlfriend - she wanted to see if her bump was in the ballpark of other 9-10 week bumps. Just gotta say I think you are ALL beautiful and wanna give you all some love and luck on your journeys!
Lots of love to you all February 17 mommies-to-be!!! Enjoy your pregnancies!!!
Ok, not to beat a dead horse, but I appreciate so much all the love. I just have to say, every body is different, and every pregnancy is different! In full disclosure, I weigh more now than I did in other pregnancies and I carry weight in my middle. But I went back and looked and this is nine weeks with each pregnancy that made it this far. Same person, same height, different weights. But, this blump is way bigger than the others, and I don't care, lol. I just want a baby growing and healthy in there. I made this for comparison and will have to for other weeks as I go!
@Partyof6? I do love seeing any baby bump pics, and I think it's neat seeing comparisons. I didn't take many photos while pregnant with my other 2 and I often wonder what I looked like at this point... (well with my first I didn't show until around 25 weeks and was bummed) but I hope you don't feel like you need to post the comparisons. I'm sure we are all happy for each other's babies health, and growth regardless of the actual bump size.
welcome to any and all late-J17s who want to join us over here! We're happy to have you
Okay, but what if you're, like, square in the middle of January but took a bump break all weekend because apparently people on your board think you're ruining America for being a liberal?
I'm, uh, asking for a friend.
Just caught up on my favourite board (and also J17... my home board) but you ladies always give me so much more to read!!

Pssh, I vote that belonging here is as much about the bonds you make as it is about due dates at this point. We'll have plenty of January and March babies before this is over. We can all be heathens over here anyway!
I know one of the O16 ladies personally....@sportiegrl1213, and she is cool. But that nasty one that popped in and turned my "just for fun and feeling good about ourselves" thread into a warzone and judgment zone needs to check herself. We are all beautiful here, all sizes and shapes and baby bumps/blumps are gorgeous. Everyone is different and shows differently. I respect @Partyof6? for keeping it classy and not getting unjustly discouraged by a jerk. We have eachother's backs here! So let's keep our threads and group positive for eachother
In theory, I go to October 16. But I just wanted to say that you ladies are awesome. Good for you for calling out some unacceptable body shaming and the worst non-apology EVAR.

@kiwichickusa lol not long ago I was lounging back on our couch and my husband saw my Belly peeking out from under my shirt. I was in an unflattering position and had a "roll" so he asked if that's what he looked like. I told him he looked about 20 weeks further along haha.

10+4 with twins and its definitely more bump than blump these days. Sorry for the armpit shot.
