Yesterday I had the kids for 13 hours by myself, 10 hours in I put my older kids in their room with the gate closed and kids tv on the iPad and let them watch it for 3 whole hours while I sat in my room and watched tv and ate brownies alone. It was glorious!!!
I didn't always like my engagement ring. We were young and broke when we got married, and dh wouldn't pick out the ring without me, so I basically picked the least expensive option in the store. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't by any means my ideal. Now I like it because it reminds me of all we have gone through in the last 11+ years, but it took several years before I actually started appreciating it. i don't think I've ever told dh that

I kind of feel the same about mine, and I feel bad about wishing mine was bigger but he was broke when he bought it. My inlaws were annoyed at me because I bought my own band. I went in to pick up my engagement ring from being sized, saw the wedding ring I wanted and bought it on the spot lol.
Feeding the baby before we leave the house. Just have on my tank top haven't put my shirt on yet. Baby spit up on my tank top..... Not going upstairs to change it, can't see it under my shirt. Also pretty sure I always smell like spit up anyway.
I am officially giving the big middle finger to the eat, play, sleep routine. It's done nothing but cause me stress. The only thing I'll keep from it is keeping DS awake after feedings so he doesn't associate food with sleep, plus he needs to but upright for a while after anyways so he doesn't spit up. Today he ate, played for like 45 min, took his 20-30 min cat nap, git up and played for a little longer till I saw he was hungry. Then he stayed up for another 30 min and started falling asleep on his play mat so I put him in his cosleeper and we both took an hour nap after which I got up but he fussed a little then fell asleep for what's about to be over another hour!!! This works much better for me.

I'll give you a legit FFFC... Sometimes I wish my husband was better in bed. The sex is good, and most importantly he is the best husband and father I could have ever asked for, but sometimes I wish absolutely mind blowing sex was a part of the deal.
Although to be fair, it's not like I'm winning any sex awards myself
I am EBF and I am pissed as hell that I got my period 8 weeks postpartum. I never expected it, and there doesn't seem to be a reason for it. DS nurses no less than every 2 hours during the day and only goes 3 at the most at night. My supply must have gone down, because he's actually upped his frequency (feeding on demand). There are far worse injustices in the world, but I am super butthurt that I have to deal with this now!
Stupid box. I'm actually hoping to get my period sooner rather than later as long as it means I am ovulating. Hoping to try for baby #2 before too long and don't want breastfeeding to put off fertility!

I'm with June2016BabyW but not to conceive yet, just so I know where I am in my cycle. I can't deal with this whole "you can ovulate at any time" uncertainty!

I think mine is trying to start. WTAF!!! 6 weeks pp today. My period came back at 14 months pp after my twins and I figured it would be similar this time.
@June2016BabyW we're in the same boat. Skipping birth control and hoping EBF doesn't interfere with fertility. If it does I'll probably start weaning around 6 months

I get that... with my first, I didn't get it for 10+ months and felt like a walking time bomb! I hated not knowing when to expect my period and how bad it was going to be. We were using condoms and not trying to get pregnant, so that side of knowing about my cycle didn't really affect us, but the unease with uncertainty is relatable for sure. But right now, I'd definitely trade uncertain for this crappy period! Lol

Ditto. Lol. My legit FFFC in line with yours is that I can't stand oral sex. I NEVER let my husband do it to me and I do everything possible to avoid having to do it to him. Am I the only one? Haha.

I wondered the same thing. Or if I miss a feeding here and there and he gives her a bottle will my fertility possibly return earlier? I would like to start trying in September/October, figuring it may take some time again to actually conceive.

Ditto. Lol. My legit FFFC in line with yours is that I can't stand oral sex. I NEVER let my husband do it to me and I do everything possible to avoid having to do it to him. Am I the only one? Haha.
I'll do anything to get it and anything to avoid giving it so I'm 50% with ya!
If I just changed his diaper before a MOTN feeding and he craps during the feed, I sometimes won't change him until just before the next feed. He feeds at 2-3hr intervals at night.
Waiting to change him until after a MOTN feeding is a high risk of him becoming fully awake and harder to put back to sleep.

I will always change a poopy diaper as soon as possible. I hold off on a pee diaper for a bit. Diaper rash is no bueno
