GTKY: What were some of your favorite board games as a child that you (can't wait to) play with your LO(s)? Trying to keep the simple games alive in this digital world!!
What size is baby? Ferret/cauliflower - had no idea these two things were the same size.
How are you feeling? Currently: insomnia. I was in a deep sleep when DS woke me up screaming. Must've been a bad dream? I went into his room to soothe and rock him. Now everyone else in the house is sleeping but me
Upcoming appointments? Monday, routine check up.
Rants/Raves/Questions: one of my really good friends is due with her second DD any day now (more like any minute)! I'm excited for this LO to have a playmate!
GTKY: What were some of your favorite board games as a child that you (can't wait to) play with your LO(s)? Trying to keep the simple games alive in this digital world!! I loved Scattergories Jr, Life, and Mall Madness.
Not a Fri ticker change but girl, you do not mess around! You're on top of your ticket change posting game! Sorry to read it's due to insomnia...I'm with you on that tonight!
How are you feeling? Most of the time I feel pretty good but last night I was soooo uncomfortable.
Upcoming appointments? appointment next Friday, just routine. Last birthing class is on Tuesday! FI will be so happy those are done lol
Rants/Raves/Questions: NBR but I ordered some furniture about a month ago and the store keeps taking the money out and then putting it back. Take it out. Put it back. It's so annoying lol just take my money!
GTKY: What were some of your favorite board games as a child that you (can't wait to) play with your LO(s)? Trying to keep the simple games alive in this digital world!! I love the game Clue!!!
How far along? 30. Ah! This scares me and makes me super excited!
What size is baby? A zucchini or butternut squash. I'm so sick of zucchini right now that I'll go with the squash.
How are you feeling? Pretty ok? Definitely slowed down this past week, and had a couple days of really uncomfortable pressure feeling, accompanied by low back pain. Rested up and now that's better!
Upcoming appointments? Next Friday I think is my last 4 week appt.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Rave: baby shower is this weekend. I'm so excited, and one of my friends who lives all the way across the country flew in to surprise me. Feeling so loved!
GTKY: What were some of your favorite board games as a child that you (can't wait to) play with your LO(s)? Trying to keep the simple games alive in this digital world!!
Ooh, I agree with @Megan324 , Clue was amazing, my sister and I used to play that all the time. Another one of my favorites was this game called Don't Break The Ice. The "ice" was a bunch of little plastic cubes, and there was an old man that sat in a chair on top of the ice somewhere. You would use these little hammers to take pieces out one by one without caving in the whole thing (and the old man). Really really strange now that I think about it, did anyone else play that??
What size is baby? Baby is the size of a squash? Sure we'll go with that....
How are you feeling? Doing great! Felt baby hiccups for the first time yesterday morning and now feeling them again. Yesterday it was supremely weird, today it's so cute!
Upcoming appointments? Not until beginning of August
Rants/Raves/Questions: Rant: Heat! Why did we think third-tri pregnancy during the hottest summer ever was a good idea ladies? Rave: My work baby shower yesterday was so much fun and I loved everything that everyone put into it.
GTKY:
What were some of your favorite board games as a child that you (can't
wait to) play with your LO(s)? Trying to keep the simple games alive in
this digital world!! MEMORY!!! I was obsessed with this game! I have a ridiculous mind span for this kind of stuff and can remember obscure things long after they happen. (Sometimes this is hard at work, because I'll remember events so acutely and my coworkers won't, and I'm all 'How do you not remember this?') Aside from Memory, Candy Land of course.
ETA: @CindyLouWho427 YES! I used to love Don't Break the Ice too! I'd always hate when my brother would knock out a corner piece knowing that whatever piece I hit next would cause the man to fall.
How are you feeling? Pretty good! Restless legs have already kicked in today so I probably wont get much done at work and will be constantly walking around the office.
Upcoming appointments? Next Friday.
Rants/Raves/Questions: Rant- It is WAY to humid today. I took my dog out before 6am this morning and it was already gross outside. Also, swelling! Rave- I pick up bagels and pastries for the office ever other Friday and this morning and everyone seemed extra appreciative about it and were really thankful. Being in HR i usually deal with complaints so it's nice to have happy employees stop by my office too!
Question- Is baby's movement still low for anyone else? The highest I usually feel her is by my belly button. People keep asking if shes kicking my ribs and I always say no bc she not. I'm not overly concerned since she is still moving, but I am going to bring it up in my next appointment just in case.
GTKY:
What were some of your favorite board games as a child that you (can't
wait to) play with your LO(s)? Trying to keep the simple games alive in
this digital world!! Pretty Pretty Princess was always my favorite. I don't know if they make if they make it anymore. I also liked Guess who and connect four!
How far along? 33 weeks! I woke up today thinking I was 32 weeks and then I remembered. I'll be 36w in three weeks! Aaaaaahhhh
What size is baby? Durian (there was a durian tree next door to where I grew up so it was neat seeing it), three chocolate croissants (yuuum), ferret, junior tennis racket, cauliflower head.
How are you feeling? Tired, sooo achy everywhere, pain in my hips, restless legs at night, swelling here and there, nausea, headaches, sleepy 24/7, and a cold that never comes.
Upcoming appointments? 34w appointment next week
Rants/Raves/Questions: I always wanted everything to be ready early so we'd have time to relax and enjoy my terrible last month symptoms but our nursery is bare, our car seat isn't here yet, and we haven't even started our hospital bag. I know it's definitely no big deal, I'm just surprised at how much I'm slacking since I've always been a control freak and a planner.
GTKY: Monopoly was my favorite. Loved Clue too! We have to get these later on when she's old enough.
GTKY: What were some of your favorite board games as a child that you (can't wait to) play with your LO(s)? We played monopoly a bit but we loved card games. I currently play with DD and we love it. We also play snakes and ladders a lot.
Upcoming appointments? Ultrasound today!!! Then seeing the midwife next Friday. Fingers crossed that placenta has moved up and of course that the baby looks good. We're about mid-way through our birthing class, so far it's been really useful.
Rants/Raves/Questions: I picked out the pediatrician! One thing off the list and she was really sweet. Figuring out this breast pump stuff with my insurance is a pain - why can't it just magically appear without any effort on my part?!
GTKY:
What were some of your favorite board games as a child that you (can't

@RedMar - MALL MADNESS... YES!! My sister had the game, and I absolutely loved it. "There's a sale at the... chitchen store" (the audio was a little crappy back then) "Ooooh, long line! Try again later!"
How far along? 33 weeks! Dying to get to 37 to be sure that I can have a home birth!
What size is baby? Large enough to be bruising me!
How are you feeling? Depends on the day. I had a great birthday and my baby shower is tomorrow, so I'm feeling good!
Upcoming appointments? Just had one yesterday. Baby is still head down in LOA position! My last 2 week appointment is in 2 weeks and then we move to home visits once a week!
Rants/Raves/Questions: Nada
GTKY: What were some of your favorite board games as a child that you (can't wait to) play with your LO(s)? Trying to keep the simple games alive in this digital world!! Pretty Pretty Princess and Candyland!!
What size is baby?: Squash/bucket of popcorn/scooter board
How are you feeling?: Fat, tired, hungry
Upcoming appointments?: Got one on the 1st
Rants/Raves/Questions: I want all the naps in the world plz
GTKY: What were some of your favorite board games as a child that you (can't wait to) play with your LO(s)? Trying to keep the simple games alive in this digital world!!: Hmmm my favorite board games as a kid probably don't really exist anymore... Fireball Island, Don't Wake the Dragon, Shark Attack... I liked Life, so I guess that one is still around.

What size is baby? Pineapple I like picturing my baby as a little pineapple inmy belly.
How are you feeling? Oh lord, last couple days have been the worst of the whole pregnancy so far. Had EXTREME hemorrhoid pain. It's been insane. I'm sure everyone wants to hear about that too... But really, it's awful and I wish it on no one.
Upcoming appointments? 36 weeks - doing the group B strep test at that one I think
Rants/Raves/Questions: Lucky to live in the PacNW as our weather has been pleasantly mild so far this summer (it's actually cool and rainy today). It's been nice to not have to deal with the horrible heat everyone else has.
GTKY:
What were some of your favorite board games as a child that you (can't
wait to) play with your LO(s)? Trying to keep the simple games alive in
this digital world!! My favorite was Candy Land - so that will be one I try to get her to play later. Also, Boggle. I loved that game but could never get my brothers or sister to play me!
How are you feeling? Tired, sore and like I might die one of these nights from the extreme heartburn! Also have a constant back spasm happening between my shoulder blades and in my right hip when sleeping...
Upcoming appointments? Ultrasound on Monday to check baby's position and then see McDreamy the first week of August for weekly appointments
Rants/Raves/Questions: I've been struggling with remaining team green the last bit and now that I'm getting another ultrasound it's even harder! Hurry up baby!
GTKY: What were some of your favorite board games as a child that you (can't wait to) play with your LO(s)? Trying to keep the simple games alive in this digital world!! I loved life and clue growing up as well as card games!
How are you feeling? Pretty good, BIG! Finding extreme difficulty bending over and sitting on the floor to play with LO. Luckily my in laws are coming to visit this week so I'll have a break for about 10 days
Upcoming appointments? Tue for ultrasound and to pick the induction date! OB wants 39w so we'll see how he looks Tue but could be as early as 38 like LO1 which means 1 more month!! AHHHH!
Rants/Raves/Questions: Im going to count how many times I pee today just to see, bc I swear it's gotta be at least 20.
GTKY: What were some of your favorite board games as a child that you (can't wait to) play with your LO(s)? Trying to keep the simple games alive in this digital world!! For LO1 1st bday we had a Dr Suess theme and got a bunch of old school board games that we set up all over the house for the adults to play with. So I raided a few half price books and found: Mouse Trap, Jenga, Shoots & Ladders, Connect 4, Candy Land and Sorry. It was sooo fun! And of course I kept them all to bust out when my kiddos are old enough. Just hope they think they're cool and mom is not a huge nerd
But omg, Mall Maddness!! I remember playing that with my sister. The best game ever!!
@annas930@izzetoot omg so I just looked it up on Amazon (mall madness) and it goes for $299. Man, the things I should've gotten duplicates of!!! I also found Dream Phone (wasn't a huge fan of this) for $99
@RedMar - I really hope my parents still have our Mall Madness.. I'll have to check next time I'm up at their house... not because I want to make $300, but because I desperately want to think I'll be able to play it again someday and that seems highly unlikely at that price tag!
@izzetoot games like Mouse Trap (still have that one) and 13 Dead End Drive took SOOOOO long to set up.. I'm not even sure we ever played the game, just set the whole thing up and set off all the traps/obstacles.
How are you feeling? overall good but getting tired earlier and really uncomfortable at work!
Upcoming appointments? 8/5 for my 36 week! Almost in the home stretch

Rants/Raves/Questions: We started our birthing class on Wednesday, and I am so glad we are doing it. We have two more classes which is a long time, but we are both learning a lot and it's clearing the air for us to talk openly about some stuff we've been avoiding.
GTKY: What were some of your favorite board games as a child that you (can't wait to) play with your LO(s)? Trying to keep the simple games alive in this digital world!! and @LakeR2014 I'm so happy someone else remembers that game! I wish I still had it from when I was little.. do they still make it do you know?
as far as the cultures go, it's most likely a test for Group B strep.
