Registries for BTDT moms

I'm reaching out to other BTDT moms who made a registry for the sole purpose of purchasing the stuff they need at a discount. I'm getting ready to cash in and I want to make sure my cart has everything I need in it before I apply that sweet, sweet discount.

I have on the list.....
- A few more mattress protector sheets (DD1 is still in a crib, which we already purchased.)
- One or two new crib sheets (same purpose)
-New burp cloths (last ones turned into cleaning rags)
-New Pacifiers
-Wipes
-Nursing pads
-Baby clothes hangers
-Baby monitor
-White noise machine

I'm hesitant to stock up on too many diapers until I know what fits. We have bottles from the first kid (should I be replacing the nipples?) I already purchased a double stroller at a pretty good discount. We have an in-tact and unexpired infant car seat & bases. I COULD do more convertible ones for next year, but I feel like I'd rather wait so that I get the most use out of them before they expire.

Is there stuff I'm forgetting? This list feels super short.

Possibly a humidifier if your kiddos will be in different rooms? We purchased a 2nd one because of that.

You read my mind because I was going to post the same thing. Do you need some new comfy clothes for yourself? Because i definitely put that on mine. Also pp supplies and a clothes hamper.

I've got big items like a double stroller and a new swing (didn't have one with dd). Little items are more A&A muslin blankets, nursing supplies (nipple cream, etc), baby medicines, humidifier, new washcloths & towels, 2 more car seat protectors (for under the car seat in each of our cars), 2 more car seat mirrors. I think that's it...

I literally did an entire registry for the simple fact that it's been 5 years since my last baby... Just keep in mind of the "must have" items vs. the unnecessary ones that you barely used. I think you have a good list though.

There's only a few responses and already several things I hadn't thought of. I'm getting another diaper genie. Changing pad?
I need to revisit my registry and update it apparently!

I seriously have the exact same things on my list too. I added a few newborn toys since we gave away or misplaced most of ours. I added more swaddle blankets and we got our new infant car seat 20 percent off.

I have a diaper genie on the list, but we only use a regular kitchen trash can right now in the nursery (something we already had leftover after a kitchen reno.) I thought I'd move that over to the big girl room and put the diaper genie in the nursery. I'm hoping to just change my big girl in the nursery most of the time, and in her room the rest of the time. She already prefers her diaper changes standing up (eye roll.) and I'm assuming she'll be potty trained at some point within a year from now.

Just did this today actually so I'll be revisiting this thread for ideas

-an additional camera for our monitor
-more glass bottles (I would order more nipples as they break down over time)
-car seat cover (I did one of the "free" ones from the Motherhood coupons)
-crib
-dresser
-carrier (i know you're good with this

)
-baby book/keepsake box (I'm old school and keep one of these for DS)
-birthing ball (mine is nearly deflated from all of the use and from DH and DS playing jumbo baseball with it. We also used it to "bounce" with DS when he was tiny as it would soothe him immediately).
-bassinet (going to use this instead of the Rock n Play- DS had reflux issues and I'm hoping this LO doesn't as well)
-diaper cream (balmex worked best for us)

-witch hazel and Depends for padsicles
-underpads for our sheets bc of postpartum bleeding

We added the Carters white onesies in short and long sleeves. We also purchased all new bottles and nipples, DS will be almost 4 when LO is born and I was not confident in how we stored the bottles or if they were even safe at that point. (I exclusively FF with DS and will with this LO)

My current kid is almost 5 but I'm getting new nipples for all our bottles. Also getting some fresh new bibs

I got some new bottles, new swaddles, burp cloths, bibs, pacifiers, humidifier, a new breastfeeding pillow because I never really did like the Boppy but I just dealt with it...new attachments for my breast pump, and all the necessary pumping and breastfeeding accessories, new nursing tops and bras because I'm bigger now

We got a new play gym bc I gave the one from DS 1 to a friend out of state. We also bought some new waterproof pads. I put a car seat for DS 1 on there for the sole purpose of using the completion coupon on it.

We put a lot of the previously mentioned things on our registry. We registered for all new bottles, but would have replaced the nipples if we were reusing them. We also registered for the conversion rails (both for toddler bed and full sized) for DD1's crib. And a new diaper bag... switching to a backpack style this time.

Similar items on ours as well, big items that we need to get:
-Crib soother (my 1.5 year old LOVES his baby einstein aquarium, so finding something with music/movement for this one)
-Soothing stuffed animal (again 1.5 year old loves his giraffe, so getting one for this kid, good for travel)
-New swaddles
-2nd camera for monitor (ordered)
-Another high chair is on registry - though not sure we'll need this as we have a booster we can move Emmett to
-4 oz Dr Brown bottles (switched to these at 8oz size, will start with this brand this time)
-New baby bath towels

And maybe a few other small items. not going crazy on diapers until we see what works best

We are re-using most of my son's stuff (he's only 1.5 years old) so most of the stuff is still good. However, we found that we didn't really like the pack n play we got and liked more the "travel crib" option. So we registered for the fisher price bassinet/travel crib combo...but honestly the Guava travel crib is hands down the best! (just a little pricey)
