Haha, I'm well aware that this particular UO makes me a freak of nature. There's just this women-and-chocolate relationship that I'm no part of. I honestly don't really get it.
My UO is I get really annoyed seeing the same photos on Facebook and Instagram. Don't really know why it bothers me but I've unfollowed lots of people on Insta because they always choose to post the exact same photos and caption on FB.
I share my Instagram posts on FB because I have friends/ family who don't have one or the other. It gives you the option to just post both at the same time, so why not? So you see the pic twice. NBD, and certainly not a big enough deal to unfollow someone
LLR reminds me of someone who is decent at sewing but awful at picking fabrics.
My UO: I adore winter and snow! Skiing, skating, snowshoeing, X country skiing, all of it. Plus how clean and still the air is after it snows. I love the change in seasons in MN and don't really get why people complain so much, we get the best of each season around here.
@ yogadevil I would have agreed about 13 years ago. I loved skiing, and couldn't wait for it to get cold outside. Now I don't ski, and I start cringing in October when it starts getting cold.
My UO is that I think chocolate is overrated. I mean, I like it, but... Eh. I'd rather have most other desserts. Cheesecake? Yes please.
Yes! The only way I like chocolate is if it's over the top rich- like gooey Ghiradelli brownies. Also, white chocolate, which is by far the superior chocolate.
Speaking of chocolate.. You have to try this recipe: glass pan (9x13) cookie dough on bottom (store bought in the tub) oreos on middle fudge brownie mix on top bake at 325 for 55 min or until brownie sets serve with ice cream

It annoys the crap out of me when two people sit side by side in a booth when no one is sitting across from them. What's that all about? How can you even talk properly?
H and I are this couple haha! We usually sit side by side and I love not having to shout across the table. Now with baby it's a little harder but when it's just us you bet I'm sitting right next to my husband getting sweet smooches and feeling the love.
@kswiger06 I believe that as a woman you are contractually obligated to love October.
I actually love the month of October. My birthday is on the 5th and I love Halloween. But I hate that it's sometimes snowing by Halloween. The poor kids are walking around with snotty noses, red fingers, and winter clothes under their made for summer weather costumes. I wish Halloween weather was like it is in all the movies!
@kswiger06 I grew up in a place where it often snowed by Halloween. Now I live in the mid-Atlantic region and I REALLY get what fall is all about. October is absolutely epic here. On the other hand, the summers are oppressive. So you win some, you lose some, no matter where you go.
My UO is that I dislike online job applications. I just want to go in and say are you hiring? Can I have an app. It was so much easier in high school lol! Trying to find a low key job is exhausting with all these crazy internet applications. Go here then here make six log-ins well email you.

I'll go further with the leggings and say my UO is when they are paired with a short shirt or otherwise visibly crawling up someone's butt, I get super grossed out. But I dislike all "skinny" pants in public too, so meh. Now at home or the gym or whatever, let your freak flag fly. Please don't subject everyone at the supermarket or anywhere there's a line to your too-small clothing choices.
Also DH and I share a booth at every restaurant we can. We often share appetizers and dessert, and it makes for a more comfortable and romantic conversation space. As a bonus, every once in a while he'll wrap his arm around my shoulder and pull me to his side. I have a lot of random social anxieties so that little gesture can quell an anxiety attack before it even starts.
@yogadevil I feel the same way about the seasons! I love living in New England for that reason. Fall is my favorite and winter is a close second. My favorite months are Sep-Dec, then after all of the holiday fun I'm not as psyched about the rest of the winter, but I love the snow nonetheless. My UO is that summer is my least favorite season. It's hot, I hate the clothing, it's harder to do things with the kids (they must be slathered in a million layers of sunscreen at all times, grr) and the summertime preschool schedule is not as friendly to me and my personal time as the school year. Just sayin.

Yes, yes, yes, and yes. I'm in the Pacific Northwest and envy your snow, but we have gorgeous fall here. Summer is the pits, and I hate it. The heat can suck it.

Fellow New Englander, and could have spoken these exact words. Minus the kid stuff, since I don't have 'em yet. Summer is the worst!
Warm climate to Pacific Northwest and back to warm again... I finally realized warm sucks. I'm counting down the days til fall when it'll be a nice cool 75? Yuck.

i love doing this on dates with my H, especially if we are sharing foooods
Sharing, or in my case stealing DH's food always taste better than mine.

I'm kinda tired of all the friends on Facebook who are all suddenly becoming consultants for companies and selling stuff. I'm all for people finding opportunities to provide for their families and work part-time, but I'm super annoyed by all the Facebook groups that I get automatically added to and have to remove myself because they post sales offers and online parties 10x a day.
This was going to be mine. I love my friends, but dear baby jesus NO I don't want to buy your 31 bags, scentsy, jamberry nails, or shakelogy. Just stop.

On Fridays my husband and I get what we think sounds good from different places and then take it home and split it all. We started this a few weeks ago when I couldn't figure out what I wanted for dinner because so many things sounded good. It's stuck and we look forward to these nights.
We have two sleeping beauties in heaven. Jack gained his wings on 09/02/2016. Kali gained her wings on 07/28/2015. They will be forever missed.

I think I might be the only New Englander who hates winter and loves summer... It seems like everyone is all crazed and excited for snow and I'd rather never see a flake of it... Bring on the heat! 80-85 is like my ideal temperature and I'm perfectly happy 90-110 without AC. I live in the wrong state but DH loves it here. I do love the leaves in the fall!

Most of my friends and family agree with you. They shush me when I speak me mind on this, as if I will bring on the winter by speaking it's name. I don't love snow, but I don't really mind it and I'd so much rather bundle up than sweat.
Just had a fun thought for us Northerners-we'll be third tri or PP for most of this winter and pretty much absolved from shoveling. Poor H!
Tentacular, my daughter can't stand chocolate. It's not just that it's not her preference, she won't go anywhere near it! I'm like, are you really my kid? Haha
We go out to eat so infrequently that it almost seems strange to sit across from each other. I like to sit side by side. I don't give a fuck how other people are sitting, all I care about is the fact that we've managed to escape from the kids for a night out.
I don't like leggings with prints on them because I feel like the plain black ones are more flattering or slimming on me. That's not to say others don't look great in them though and can pull it off really well, maybe even the pizza ones HAHA
Hearing about all the people trying to sell crap on FB is making me glad I don't have it. Between that and all the political drama I think I'm all set.
Mjsommer, I'm with you on the online job apps. Just makes something that should be fairly simple a giant, time consuming pain in the ass.
In New England and always been a lover of fall. I love the weather mostly, but the beautiful foliage doesn't hurt either. I've actually had some assholes suggest to me in recent years that I must love the colder months because I'm overweight hah except no, because even when I was skinny I always loved the fall and was never a fan of sweating my ass off.
I have nothing original of my own to add. There me was something else I was going to put my 2 cents in on, but now I can't remember. I'll have to come back...
Marriedhamstermom, you are not alone. My sister, my DH, cousins, friends, previous coworkers, pretty much most people I know around here prefer the summer.
MommaBean, I didn't even think about this. Now I'm in panic mode. Two wild high energy kids cooped up with nowhere to go coupled with a newborn. Hmmmm. Yeah, I'm not liking the visual I'm getting. Plus there's also February vacation to consider. Yay lmfao
