The biggest symptom right now at 5+2 is the pounding heartbeat all the time at rest no matter what position I am in. It makes me feel like I have adrenaline going and um really nervous, but I'm not! I can't slow my HR down on my own either and make it pound less. It's uncomfortable!

My abs feel like sort of like I have been doing hardcore ab workouts, which I haven't... I feel like I read this one on another BMB once when I was lurking, but I've never really heard of such a feeling during early pregnancy before.

    ETA - add words

Omg I thought it was just me... My whole stomach is tight not just where the baby is. And im not usually one for exercise so I couldn't figure it out.

Yes! It's like higher up than where my actual tummy is, like upper abs.

@sugargirl1019 my HR is also higher and sometimes hard to bring down. Yesterday I got a bit nervous on a conference call and it was a little scary how much my heart felt like it was racing.

Not to rub it in, but my nausea vanished yesterday. Is that normal? Do you think it'll be back?

Edit: It's freaking me out a little...

@katem @sandwichlover @rainafire77 I think it's your stomach you're feeling!  Progesterone is causing our bodies to take longer to digest things, in order to more fully absorb nutrients.  And this makes gas.   :D

@RunBooRun. Just try to enjoy it, because it'll most likely be back with a vengeance ;) the nausea usually comes in cycles for me. Few food days and then wham it's back and bad.

@RunBooRun WTE suggests regular exercise as a way to combat pregnancy fatigue - but how can we do that when our bodies are like, "F*ck that noise"??
@dubcompanion AMEN to this! I have still been going to yoga at 5:30am, but I come home, shower and want to go right back to bed!!

Also - ALL. THE. FOOD. I want all of it. I cannot stop eating, anything and everything. I know I am super early - but did anyone else experience this so early? haha

Count me in on the Getting Winded Easily club! It is incredibly annoying! Running is basically the only exercise that I enjoy and I do A Lot of it. I actually ran a half marathon at 3 weeks because I had not turned a test yet so I thought we were out this cycle. I tried going for a quick 3 miles with DH the other night and I had to walk like 5 times! What gives?!?

Does anyone else feel a weird 'pressure/fullness' at the very top of their abs (i.e.. where the ribs part)? I've had it the last week and I can't slouch anymore. It is such a strange feeling and hubby thinks I am a bit nuts right now...
I'm feeling the same thing. It feels weird & I have no idea how to get rid of it.
I do sometimes...I thought it was has? It makes me feel like I have to burp. Maybe also weird heartburn?

i've been MIA for the past week or so as i've been on vacation and we have really spotty wifi. BUT it's good to check in. the nausea and vomiting has started for me. two nights ago i threw up about 5 times in an hour and a half. it was absolutely brutal. i felt like death. i haven't thrown up since, but i have been pretty queasy on and off, especially after a big meal. so i'm sticking to snacking on light fare throughout the day - veggies, crackers, toast. my boobs are occasionally sore but not so bad. and i'm tired. but otherwise ok.

Was surprised by a wipe  of blood this afternoon.  Continued to check for about 15 minutes and it was pink/brown in color. Have a little bit of cramping but nothing that would concern me otherwise. have a little bit of cramping but nothing that would concern me otherwise. FX for rando spotting and nothing serious!

I had that weird horrible ab pain for the last 4 months with my first. It got unbearable...like I could relax.

Definitely having some mild RLPs now; knowing how much worse they can get is giving me a little PTSD.

Well, my nausea and sore boobs seem to have eased up...I'm still tired af all the time and still want to eat ALL the food. So I do eat all the food!  I've put on a bit of weight from that, I think, but that's alright, because I've finally quit puking!
ETA: Also, I MIGHT be a bit moody. DH and I took the HP sorting quizzes at Pottermore and got into a heated lively debate...because he called me a Hufflepuff when I am CLEARLY a Ravenclaw

I'm not sure if this is a symptom, but at least an observation.  Pre-pregnancy, you might describe me as having some hypochondriac tendencies.  Google all the symptoms - it's always something life threatening - panic ensues.  Since I've been pregnant.....I have felt so incredibly calm and laissez-faire.  So odd.

@PattersRN  YES! I have been falling asleep at 9pm, but wake up at 3:30/4am and just fidget and toss and turn. This morning DH says - geez you fidgeted a lot, will this be a normal thing? He might kick me to the guest room hahaha

My boobs feel the most sore and heavy at night, it's insane! Like right now I could poke them and eh they are kinda sore but at night I can't even lay on them they are so sore! It's just weird. Also the nausea is never in the morning, always afternoon and night. Guess I need to get all my stuff done in the mornings when I feel best lol!

You're lucky you feel so relaxed!! I keep thinking I will get there but I am pretty sure I will always have some worry in the back of my head.

Anybody else spotting? I'm no longer cramping and I've seen my doctor to check on the baby. My doctor is on vacation but his nurse said it was no big deal. Just some implantation bleeding. But... this is going on 4 days now and its picked up a little.  It was just when I wiped. Now I'm finding some in my underwear. Argh! I hate this! Other then that I have no symptoms. Well..  maybe I'm overly moody and anxious.
