R/R: I got my positive OPK yesterday afternoon! So now I have to keep dragging my physically exhausted husband to bed during this horrible heat. He only complains until it happens. Now for the rant: Twice now when I posts, it cuts off my post halfway! Ugh.

CS/Q: I know I posted about RRLT before, but I have one more question, as I sip a cup right now. Is it safe during the TWW? I've read so many conflicting reports on it. I'm a little paranoid I guess after a few losses and don't want to harm anything now that we are actually fully trying.

GTKY: What is your favorite party song (current or all time fav)? All time has to be Got Your Money by ODB. Since I was an underage teen getting into clubs to a year ago when I last went out, it's been played without fail. It's a classic. Though currently, it's Turn Down for What, by Lil Jon.

R/R: I tried using the applicator for Preseed yesterday... First of all, it was confusing. Second of all, the end that you're supposed to insert doesn't have a rounded top and it hurt to try to put in... So I quit and basically just squeezed it on the outside of my vagina.... Oh well!
Last night while I was awkwardly trying to figure out the applicator DH goes "isn't the time for the sex to matter over?" And I was like "I don't know! We're being safe rather than sorry!"

Q/CS: Not today... But maybe tomorrow... We'll see!

GTKY: Old Time Rock n Roll. It will always be my favorite since it's one of my dad's favorites. He's a super quiet, nerdy guy but when this song comes on, he plays a KILLER air guitar!

Plus its been hot so I have been waking up with no covers, which I'm sure is making my temps lower. Is that going to make a huge difference? I wish I wasn't so worried about doing this "right"

R/R: I am in a much better place today but as you can imagine the mones were raging last night ****TW**** I got a call from my bff last night and she told me she is PG with #2. They were. not. even. trying. She doesn't know we are and I am a million times happy for her because they had several MCs before the got their take home baby. Still, I really broke down. Lots o tears. What makes it worse is we would have had a DD two days apart if last cycle was mine. I am just hoping this is our cycle and we can be PG together. ***END TW****
So on the brightside I am off to a bachelorette party beach weekend and I am going to drink my face off. Just stinks to have AF and be in a bathing suit. I decided I am not temping during AF and also taking time off TB for the weekend. I think I could use a little break.

@ktcakes87 I have dreams about messing up temping too! Usually around O time when I'm anxious for the rise. Here's my experience with temping in the hopes I'll ease your mind about possible artificially low/high temps: My pre-O temp is usually anywhere from 97.3 to 98.1 (I run hot). I only get a temp higher than 98.1 pre-O if I drank heavily. Post-O my temp is between 98.2 and 98.6; once I got a 99.1 when I drank! I worry about odd low/high temps a lot throwing off FF, but what I've noticed is there is a clear shift to the higher temps post-O that I won't get pre-O no matter the conditions I'm sleeping in, unless I temp too late in the morning. You'll learn your patterns quickly and will recognize an outlier. I also temp vaginally; it's odd but you'll get used to it

And yes, I've accidentally stuck it in my urethra. Twice. Uncomfortable.

R/R: Got a positive OPK this morning, which should be the last of my surge, and no temp rise so no O yesterday. H couldn't seal the deal last night, leading to some frustrations on both our parts, adding to my WTF Wednesday post about his jerking off Tuesday morning when he knew I was ovulating and we needed to HIO Tuesday night. We have one more chance tonight and here's hoping he can get it done.

GTKY: What is your favorite party song (current or all time fav)? This is a tough one! I have a party mix I made for beach week in 2000 that includes an all-time fave, "What's Your Fantasy?" by Ludacris. Ah, the nostalgia of room temp Bud Light and bad decisions with frat guys... My current go-to is "Shots" or really anything from LMFAO.

R/R: It's Thursday! That's one day closer to Friday! I'm still getting a high reading on my CBAD. I didn't test last night, but I was high this morning. So I will test again this afternoon and tonight and however long it takes to get a peak reading, trying to rally DH to HIO as much as he can.

GTKY: What is your favorite party song (current or all time fav)? Holy crap this is a good question! Right now, I would say "That's My Kind of Night" by Luke Bryan. I'm a big country fan. I also love "Here Comes the Hotstepper," "California Knows How to Party," some of those good ol' classics! I'll party to anything with a good beat! (Not that I party anymore...)

Rant: If it doesn't happen this month, we would be pushing it to try in August and will for sure be TTA for Sept-Oct due to a wedding in June. So there's that in the back of my head.

CS/Q: How many of you "imagine" or plan out in your head each month or part of the month how you will tell your family. I have imagined for the 4th of July, then my sisters birthday, then for my birthday. Next would be my Dad's birthday. But even if I did get a BFP, it would be stupid early, I don't know. But then each time passes and on to my next "vision" ugh.

@marybpoppins Wondfo HPTs are reliable and cheap so you won't feel guilty about testing early or because you got a weird symptom that day so thought you might be pregnant even though you clearly got your period the day before but maybe it was just random bleeding that you've heard about some friend-of-a-friend having once and still being pregnant. Not that I ever did that.

I also have a box of CB digitals to confirm if I ever get a positive on a Wondfo. I won't waste those suckers. The dollar store tests/88 cent Walmart tests are also reliable.

@MrsPamda YES!!! An ODB fan! I had the same question about RRLT and I *think* one cup per day is fine but I'm also scared due to previous losses so would love to know the consensus? I found a local tea lady who makes a fertility tea and a tea for each trimester. It's in the fertility tea but I don't think it's in the first tri tea, which is what concerns me about the TWW and she's an herbalist so I'll be going to talk to her about it, too, but....friggin of course...they're closed right now because she just had a baby!

@BusinessWife hello, I take inositol at request by my doctor! I have PCOS (well, the RE says I have "strong indications of PCOS"). I'm not sure why it is specifically used for women with PCOS because my research on it says that it is used to improve egg quality and can be beneficial for anyone trying to conceive--especially at an older age. I believe it is in the family of B vitamins and overall helps with cell-to-cell communication.

I bought the powder form on Amazon and simply mix it with water. It has a sweet taste so it goes down smoothly!

WAYDTGKU: sex when we feel like it and temping to confirm ovulation

R/R: My normal cycle is ovulation around CD 20, give or take a day. I am not using OPKs this cycle, but have been checking CM every once and awhile. I definitely don't have fertile CM. So, we will just have to see. I would not be to sad if O was delayed a few days. It looks like I am set to get AF 3 days before I am planning on a mini triathlon. I would be much happier if it decided to come the day after the triathlon.

CS/Q: ***TW- loss*** So many questions about what my body is doing since the MC. Will I ovulate? When? What will AF be like? Will I not get normal fertile signs? I know that no one really has the answers to those questions though. So, I will just wonder and wait.

GTKY: What is your favorite party song (current or all time fav)? Party Rock Anthem probably. It was the last song we danced to at my wedding 5 years ago and bring really happy memories to me. Some people were there dancing who are no longer living. And some friends were there that have since gone their separate ways. But, at that moment it was just fun and I had no idea all the shit that was to come after we got married. And definitely partially because I love his awesome hair.

I also read conflicting reports about drinking it while on Clomid (which I am), and might ask my OB before making it a regular thing.

@mokay19 Thanks for the info, yeah I'm seeing a lot of benefits, and like, even mentions taking at bedtime to help support restful sleep, so I'm wondering if that's something DH and I could start taking, and just not even mention anything about possible fertility benefits... I want to get us on a thing where we are both drinking a little fiber in the morning, so if I added this too at bedtime, maybe that will help us remember both things. Hmmm...

Thanks for all the CD1 hugs/love-tits. I am honestly having trouble thinking of anything NBR I might treat myself to. Is that terrible? I spent waaaay too much on my stash last cycle @PepperAT !!! Otherwise believe me I would get these adorable covers I found, but I have actually way too many covers already since my genius-face had to start buying them in fours. Then I see like guidelines saying say 24 diapers and 4-6 covers per size. lol

R/R: My fertility specialist appointment is this afternoon. They called this morning to discuss insurance stuff with me, and while diagnostics are covered, it's only at 50%. I can't bitch...I'm very fortunate to have them covered at all. But still, ouch. Also, I'm getting freaking nervous. I'm not worried about the appointment itself, but the results. Shit is starting to get real.

GTKY: The first song that jumps to mind is "September". I just love Earth Wind & Fire for dancing.

WAYDTGKU: all the usual. I think we're going back to EOD since I don't think I actually O'd.

R/R: After a super promising spike, my temps have gone lower each of the last two mornings. I was ready to scream at 4 am when I temped this morning! I didn't, because H would have been scared to death. Lol. I'm super frustrated because all of my other signs indicate O on CD 34 and our timing would have been perfect. Honestly I feel kind of run over and generally grouchy today like I do before AF, so I'm almost wondering if she's on her way and I'm just anovulatory this cycle. But FX that's not the case! Maybe this is just a long cycle. I would like to have one more legitimate chance before my appt next month with my OBGYN to discuss further testing and a referral to an RE.

CS/Q: none today, just sorry for the long rant above!

GTKY: I've never really been much of a partier or a fan of the music, but I can enjoy or dance to pretty much anything if in the right mood.

@thegreenbee - I'm with you on a possible TTA need. I have this cycle and next, after which it gets dicey with a new job starting. CS/Q: I've had brown spotting now for 3 days. I've had a tampon in because anything else is inconvenient, but full on AF hasn't come yet. This is a little strange because I usually don't spot more than a day before AF. Temp dropped, but was back up today, although I initially discarded it because I hadn't had quite 3 hrs of sleep. I've got no cramps and am still fatigued. I also expected a pretty brutal AF given my long follicular phase... maybe it just needs another day. I'm figuring that there is no way I'm KU with this so I'm going to stay here, although maybe CD1 hasn't officially happened yet. But maybe I will pee on a wondfo when I get home for fun.

R/R: I think I'm going to go out and get me some OPKS today. I know I'm approaching (or in) my FW and I'm curious to try them out. Even with Amazon prime, there's no way I can get the cheapies here to AK in time so I'll get the ones at the store and see how that goes. DH is awesome though, I mentioned my desire to get OPKs last night and he started asking me questions about what they do and what they'll help with in regards to TTC. He's so excited about trying for a baby he wants to know almost as much as I do.....almost.

CS/Q: Temperature went back up from my two random low temps, but still not in the post-O range yet.

Oooo, good question. I love Saving Abel's "Mississippi Moonshine", it has a great beat.

R/R: Just really impatient for fw and ovulation to hurry up and get here.

CS/Q: Anyone else have hot flashes during their period? I think it's normal but my usual symptoms are on steroids this cycle. Extra moody, cramps way way worse, headaches every night, more body temperature swings... maybe I'm just extra hot because it's summer?

Just curious.

@sevenn I hear ya, and the thought of TTA is giving me anxiety. I mean I suppose we don't HAVE to TTA but its for my Brothers wedding, and I would never forgive myself if I missed that. So I'm trying to stay positive and shoot come November we can get right back with it.

I've been inadvertently absent in the WTO thread so far this cycle. I was traveling, my mom came in to town to visit, and I was sick. I'm happy to be back!

Month/Cycle: 2/2

CD: 14

WAYDTGKU: Last cycle, I temped religiously, tracked CM, charted with FF and Ovia, CB Digital (non-flashy) OPKs, and PNVs. I'm added Astroglide TTC in the mix this month.

R/R: I have been off my temping game due to illness and travel. I recommitted to the alarm earlier this week, and today my dog's woke me up well before it went off. No temp. for me today. Help me out here, pups.

CS/Q: All good here.

@sevenn I had the same issue this cycle with the spotting. I spotted brown for 2 and a half days with on and off cramping. Then one morning driving to work, no cramps or anything, AF shows her lovely face. And of course I had no tampon or pad or anything in or on because all signs of AF had vanished. Bodies are annoying.

Thought of another question, for you ladies out there that have ovulation pain, do you feel it on the same side every month. I feel it even down into my legs, it's quite obvious to me when I get the discomfort. So last month, left side. So I though it would switch but left side again this month. I may have to consult Dr. Google even though the Nurse in me is slapping my wrists.
