Is that a typo or is that the way you're spelling it? I know someone whose son is named Octavian and his nickname is Tavi - that's cute and would work for yours, too.

DH and I couldn't agree on Elliot or Jonah.... but I *think* we've found our name. The first name at least.
Isaac!
DH's last name is two syllables, ending in -man.... (Along the lines of Goldman, Freeman,etc...) So we are looking for a one syllable middle name to not make the entire name so lengthy.
Since the first name is pretty traditional, I don't mind going a little bit edgier for the 2nd name...
We like:
Isaac Jett Isaac Joel
I like: Isaac Reed Isaac Seth
Dunno what else though.... We'd love if we found a one syllable name we like that begins with an E (for DH's grandma). Any ideas?
@annabenanna Only traditional E names I can think of would be Isaac Ethan or Isaac Evan. You could do Isaac Elliot since that was on your original list. I like Isaac Joel and Isaac Reed a lot too!
@annabenanna & @AllyTheKid I'm so happy that you've both found & agreed with your SOs on names you love! Isaac was one of my first choices for a boy. And I know it's not one syllable, but I like Isaac Eli. And Johhny Atticus is perfect - absolutely love!
My H & I still literally can't agree on one.single.name. I keep holding out that maybe when I'm just huge & miserable he'll feel sorry for me and give in & just let me name her, but that's a long shot I'm afraid.
@annabenanna I like Isaac Reed, or Reid. I also like the name Rhys (pronounced like Reese). That was an instant no for us because it sounds too similar to our last name, but I really like it!
@RainMira9e I was waiting for somebody to catch and mention the reference! I could have gone with Johnny Finch too, but Atticus fit along with my name and DD's name and I have always loved it since I read To Kill a Mockingbird ♡
@Kaessi that did happen to me! My dh was supposed to pick the girls name since I had a very strong opinion on the boy's name (we were team green with #1). I had kept trying to get him to agree to my girls name but he kept saying he didn't see himself having a daughter with that name. Fast forward to right after she was born and I was like 'ok name time' and he was like 'ok we can name her what you want'... And we did. So it does happen!
I'm in the same boat though, this baby girl still has no name but we never get a chance to talk about it. Well Saturday is my birthday so I asked to go to Panera since that's really what I've been craving, so my mom is watching dd so we can go see Star Trek and eat lunch. I already warned him that the topic of convo WILL be this baby's name!!
I'm just so impressed with so many of you having names picked already. For our first we were between two going to the hospital. For this one, we still have a list of 20+ first name ideas that we like - thank goodness we still have 11 weeks left!
Re: Have you named your baby yet? (If so.. share here!)

I'm so relieved to have this settled! Now, maybe I can start working on his nursery.... haha
Olivia Danielle (Danielle is a family name)
Caroline Belle (Bell is a family name- H likes Belle more)
Kaylee JoAnn.
JoAnn covers both of my grandmother's. We had that picked long before Kaylee.
