H and the road crews. I have my AS today and H can't get his shit to the car, so I am running late. Then the road work on the freeway is done, the oncoming traffic moved back to their road, but the damn cones are still up. So I(H is driving) am stuck being this semi going 15 under because our lane is like 12 and straddling the warning tread.

Traffic because of construction is a serious headache for me too each morning this summer!

But for me today- it is the bathtub guy- he came yesterday afternoon to refinish the tub and told my husband the fumes would be gone as soon as it dries and as long as we keep the bathroom fan on, we are fine to stay in the house. Well they were NOT... I was up worried all night because I could still smell it and slept about 2 hours. We took all obvious precautions (opened windows/turned on fans) but when I went online this morning it said "elderly people, pregnant women and small children" shouldn't even be in the house for 24 hours after!!! Let the paranoia begin about affecting the baby- let alone my 21 month old!

Can my dog be a tw? He got surgery last week and is in the cone of shame for over another week. He stayed at my inlaws for a few days so the toddler wouldn't torment the poor thing, and last night was the first night we had him back. He crawled in and out of the covers 6 times, but couldn't get the blankets up so he woke up dh or I so we had to lift up the covers for him to get into. He won't sleep anywhere else. I'm so effing tired I could punt that dog, though I actually wouldn't. The nasty sunburn and lack of comfort at this pregnancy stage aren't helping matters either.

DH is working from home later today and has someone coming to look at our AC, as well as having someone come to re-key our locks. So, hopefully all of that goes well or else they may be the TW's!

@olidoli37@aol.com I would be freaking out at fumes too and super angry at the worker! If it makes you feel any better, during times like these I try to reflect on the terrible decisions my parents made for me while they were pregnant. My mom did all of the house painting by herself while pregnant. And I'm relatively normal...kind of...maybe this isn't comforting to you oops

@jenlynne0624 Poor puppy and poor puppy mommy. If you were to tell this story to anyone not bumping, I'd bet you'd get a super annoying, "Well sleep deprivation will be good practice for when the baby comes" answer. Every time I didn't get a good sleep during my last pregnancy, someone would say something like "you better get used to it." Throat-punch-worthy. Hopefully anyone you run in to today is smarter than to pull that kind of crap.

My MIL is, as always, my TW. H and I decided to change our girl's name from Jutte to Theodora (nickname Theda) a couple days ago, and she keeps telling me how happy she is we changed it. Like, overbearingly, passive-aggressively so. And then she goes on to tell me how we shouldn't tell our names to anyone until after the baby is born, because we'll get people saying they hate the name.

Um...isn't that EXACTLY what you're doing, in a very roundabout way? Argh.

But I get down on her too much (I've been living at the in-laws for the past month), so here's a positive quip: yesterday she took us to get deluxe pedicures at the local nail place. Whoop!

My TW is work related, as always.

TW of the day is my engineering lead. He's a douche. We just had a management/operations meeting with the owners of the company and all he did was bash another department. Constantly. We all have our struggles departmental wise but hands down engineering is the one with the most issues. We are constantly picking up their slack and fixing their mistakes. It was incredibly frustrating to sit through the meeting and not call the TW out.

But, not my monkeys, not my circus. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

This is pretty picky but my SIL. She has been keeping a blog and I read it. It's soooo superficial, non-eventful, and makes it seem like her life is just ...empty or something. She doesn't really seem to get close to people except BIL who she has eating from her hand. I may just be bitter because on her blog she posted pics of outfits and crap family has given her but never anything we have. We've given her some good stuff! F that! And they never really thanked us for it. I passed her down some maternity items but one shirt was pink and she was like... I'll wear that one just in the house. Whatever girl. I don't know why I just don't read her blog if it's dumb and annoying but... I do and then I'm like... get a life. I think it's probably me being the TW in this situation. or i guess lack of any real situation.

The mouse infestation that we got in my office over the weekend!! WTF and Gross. Mice don't "scare" me- but in the interest of cleanliness- EWWWWWWWW. I dont know how they'd control the population either, it's cubeland here.

This cold/sore throat I have is my TW. And all the rude ass people at Kauffman tire first thing this morning who arrived AFTER me, yet proceeded inside at 8 when the doors opened. Only one guy was like "No you were waiting here before most of us, please go ahead."

I am the TW today! I can't concentrate on work and really just want to take a nap. On top of that, I ate almost an entire bag of Gardetto's snack mix so I'm not going to be hungry for lunch, and if I skip lunch I'll feel crappy. Bad me.

For the 2nd week in a row, I think I am the TW (the AC and key guys worked out great, as posted previously!). I actually had the energy to get on our treadmill yesterday for a half hour. I walked at some good paces to switch it up and even jogged for 5 minutes, which was rough but I got through it. However, today my sciatic nerve is being a B, and makes walking anywhere super uncomfortable. Time to do some stretches tonight!

DH is a TW for not answering his texts. My tech department is filled with a bunch of TWs for not fixing this issue we're still having (and our CEO wonders why production is down...I should sent him all the tickets I've put in today, ridiculous). My 9 year old cousin is a TW because she's talking to me when I'm on the phone and I sternly told her next time she does it she's banned from my office (she started crying, she's 9 and should know better). And last but not least, I am a TW for lifting a heavy crate of books instead of waiting for DH to come home and do it. We're moving the bookshelf in the multi-purpose room into our room so all books must come off. Filled one crate to the brim, then I brought it across the hall into our room. Not the smartest thing I've done this pregnancy. So now I'm waiting for DH to come home and help with the rest.

I have a new TW that is making me so agitated. I do a girls weekend every year with 4 girls. One of them had a baby the same time as me and transformed into the most judgey intolerable person. I posted about her on a different thread. I was just recently telling DH I can't really even stand to be around her much anymore. Well it's her year to plan and she first planned a trip that's a 6 hour drive. When she found out I was pregnant, she thoughtfully adjusted and now it's a 2 hour drive to a hut. Except she booked an expensive as hell 8 person hut for 4 people. The cost is $200/person for 2 nights. Nothing included but a bed and use of a kitchen. WTF?!?! Plus, I'll be 30 weeks pregnant - no promises I'll even make it! So get ready to foot my portion if something comes up because I sure as hell am not paying a dime if I am not there!

My TW is my thyroid. I have been hypothyroid since I was like 12 so we knew we needed to watch my thyroid while pregnant and the last time we tested it it was within range. Well this week I was due to have it checked again and it was crazy out of whack (normal is between .5 - 2 and mine was 17) which sparked a full on panic attack and some crazy googling which didn't help. Thankfully, I calmed down and my doc assures me that everything should still be okay and this is exactly why we stay on top of it, and we've changed my meds so everything should level back out. I'm just ready for my anatomy scan/first ultrasound to see that everything is developing correctly.

H is my TW today. I asked him to go through two boxes that were in the guest room and put the stuff away, because we're making that into DS' new room and he needs to get in there sooner rather than later. Instead of sorting through and putting the stuff away, he basically just threw everything away. Books, including brand new books. $10 in quarters. Brand new underwear in the packaging. The necklace he bought me for our wedding that was in a box and I have been looking for for FIVE YEARS. Thankfully my mom looked at the stuff in the trash and rescued all of it. I was SO MAD. If she hadn't done that, I would never have seen that necklace again!

My TW is my cold/flu whatever it is I have today. I was really fatigued yesterday at work and thought, I just need more sleep, but last night I threw up my dinner and today I woke up with a sore throat and diarrhea - yay! So I called in sick and slept heavy for like 6 more hours. Now I'm starving but everything I eat puts my stomach on edge. Ugh I was taking my non-symptomatic second trimester for granted.

I'm my own TW today. I'm feeling sorry for myself this week because I have a lot of boring driving on my work trip. That's leading to me eating dessert every night - not a good thing. At least DH can help keep me in line next week when I'm home, lol.
