Stalled early labor at 41w+5?? Any insight/experience?

FTM mom here at 41w+5.  Lost parts of mp couple weeks ago, seemed to lose more on sunday am.  Yest mon afternoon had bloody show and contractions started around 10pm.  Between 10-12 they were pretty consistent about 1 min long, 8 min apart, I decided to try and get some rest, woke up more than several times, felt a few contractions while awake but didn't time frequency.  Between 6-7:30 this am pretty consistent 1 min long 8 or so min apart then they just kind of fizzled.  Have had a few since then but nothing consistent, still have cramping and just feel blah.  Surely you dont have false labor that this stage?  I am sch to go to hospital tonight around midnight for a cervadil induction, which I never wanted but doc starts getting concerned close to 42 weeks.  Would you still go or ask for another day?  I was going to call doc in a few hrs and ask, see if anything changed in the meantime.

    That's how my first labor started too. It started on a Monday night and I didn't end up going to the hosp til Wed night and DD was born Thursday morning. I was at 41w exactly when she was born, so not quite as far along. I'd talk to your OB about options like PP said. They might suggest breaking your water instead of cervadil since you're naturally progressing. GL!
