@kjd291 That is a pretty good one though! See you got the gif gift, too. Now I need to find mine. My random - Getting dressed for work today was not half bad since I did some shopping this weekend. I actually feel good!! All summer I have been having issues bc my luggage was stolen earlier this summer (off of the turnstile at the airport. There is video footage and everything. Can't believe I was not more vigilatnt) with 90% of my summer wardrobe in it! It was a ten day work trip so you can imagine how much I packed. Over packer here.
So I was lazy yesterday and didn't get to my laundry until like 9 pm. Well my dress pants I always usually line dry. I woke up this morning and was getting dressed for work and none of my pants were dry yet. I had to dig out an old pair of pants out of my closet and they barely fit me. I can barely keep them zipped and they don't have a button, just a hook thing, so I can't do the button trick. I don't know if it's bloat or what but I can't breath in these things and I've got 8 hours left. I'm scared to move or bend

Random - today morning sickness is KICKING MY ASSS. im on full sparkling water now. It seems like eating fruit only and drinking sparkling water is the only thing my body wants. Also, do any of y'all ever get paranoid that you wonder if you really are prego (*before ur 1st appointment) and take a pee test just to be sure? Yah im so guilty. Even though I have all the symptoms and more. 1st apt Friday *fingers crossed for healthy and happy little sweat pea*
I got something done this morning! Yay for unloading the dishwasher and doing the pans! I absolutely HATE doing dishes. It's my most loathed chore EVAR, even over folding laundry. But I can't stand dishes piling up, and if no one else is going to do them, then it's up to me!
My regular pants are too tight. My maternity pants are too big. I stuffed myself into my regular jeans this morning, but I feel like I look like this: I was able to wear regular clothes, comfortably, sooooo much longer with my first two kiddos
@mrsyimster I have totally done that - I got my first BFP on June 30th and took another test on July 9th, just to make sure I didn't dream the whole thing up or something! I don't see my doc until July 22nd and it can't some soon enough! Also, nausea is kicking my butt today too
I'm already living in leggings. We just pulled out the bin of maternity clothes because we are going on vacation in three weeks and I don't think I have enough comfy dresses to get me through the week. Ugh!!!!!
I've been running errands all day, I'm seriously just done. I can't even put the groceries away I'm just laying here on the couch looking at them hoping they magically put themselves up... why can't I be a witch? I am excited to have the Harry Potter onesies made this week for our announcement. . If the entire world doesn't already know because my mom forgot it was still a secret.
I really want pizza, like really badly. My DD is napping, so I'm getting some delivered. The only problem is that I have to sit by the window and watch for the pizza delivery person now because I don't want them ringing the doorbell and waking DD up.
@mrsyimster - I'm still peeing on tests. My DH has been giving me the side eye for this. I have them, so why not use them?
Had my blood draw on Friday afternoon and I still haven't heard from my OB's office. I called earlier and they said it was pending. I'm completely paranoid that the blood work won't show the pregnancy because my BFP was super faint at that point. I just want a confirmation and to schedule my first appointment.
Although I'm totally enjoying the excitement over our little blueberry, is anyone else experiencing hormones that are making it slightly impossible to be around suffocating family members?! It's like they want to be around you more, more, more now that they know about the babes. You want to be polite, but when you are around them, the filter that used to exist is gone and you worry about hurting feelings.
@Scarlett830 My friend is making them for me! I find designs I like on pinterest and she has a circuit thing so I just have to buy the onesies and the vinyl for her and she makes them! It's cheaper than buying them on etsy. One is gonna say "Mischief Managed" and the other " Future Hogwarts Student" I'm planning on having more made but I thought these would be perfect for our announcement since I'm gonna say " We solemnly swear we've been up to no good" on the picture of the onesies with all the books, a snitch , white owl and wand.
@Bradleerick It is definitely not just you!!! I am very short on patience with family members and coworkers as well lately! Every. Little. Thing. Makes me want to flip out on them!
WTF MIL?!?! Shes a teacher so she offered to watch DS whenever his Reg sitter needs off in Summer. They live about 40 min away in the opposite direction. So, today she offers to take him - pick him up and drop him off. Woo hoo! Except, she's bringing him home at 8 PM?!
Not very likely I'm going to take her up on her offer anymore . Ughhh!!
@CanadianintheSouth Okay, now I am totally ordering pizza for dinner tonight. DH is out of town, and that sounds like the best idea in the world!
My random is that all of my bathing suit tops no longer fit. It looks obscene! This is a big problem bc we live in Florida and spend most weekend at the pool / beach. DH says my bathing suit tops all look GREAT and to just go with it! Ummm, no. Nice try.
@librarymom917 love it!! My sisters and I are big Harry Potter fans too. One of my sisters had two HP onesies for her little boy: "Accio Milk!" and "Muggle Born." You may already know about this, but there's a free HP font available (can't remember the website but a Google search should bring it up), and I've used it for making HP onesies with my Silhouette machine (very similar to Cricut).
I figured out how to get my 13 month old to lie still for diaper changes: let her watch the Frozen trailer on my iPhone. Just the trailer. She's not interested in any of the scenes or much interested in tv in general (I'm sort of glad but also sometimes think, please just sit still for 22 minutes and watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, mm-kay?). But something about the small screen she can hold and the fast pace of the trailer is magical. I fully admit to using this tactic for every poopy diaper change for the past few days. I was never going to be the parent who hands her kid a phone to calm her down, but after months of wrestling matches and poop getting everywhere on multiple occasions it is SO worth it.
Ever since The Joy of Painting with Bob Ross popped up on Netflix, I've been making my DH watch it at night to fall asleep to.
Also, after I put DS back to bed at 2 o'clock, I legit stayed up for another hour writing smutty plotless Harry Potter fan fiction and posting it online. I blame my Snape sex dreams.
We should totally do a Man Crush Monday thread next week. @scarlett830 I need more Snape in my life. Also, I totally used to read Snape/Hermione 'ship fic, and sometimes pretty dirty ones at that! No shame here.
@SandwichLover I think everyone always needs more Snape in their lives, whether they know it or not! I won't lie, I'm a hardcore Snape/McGonagall 'shipper. Don't know what it is about them, but I love it.
So, DH is going out of town for two nights starting tomorrow night, and this could go one of two ways. I could go gung ho on the organizing I've been dying to do ever since I found out I was pregnant (anyone else feel like everything in their house now seems like clutter?!) and be super productive... orrrrrr I could be totally lazy, binge out on all the Real Housewives, and eat endless amounts of bad food! I'm so intrigued to see which path I go down....
@Schumerator if people think it, it totally exists somewhere! And not just with Harry Potter, but with pretty much any fandom. Fanfiction.net and Archiveofourown.com are the two biggest sites for it that I'm aware of.
@Scarlett830 Haha that's very true! I consider myself a mid-line HP fan. I've read all the books and I'm down to watch the movies but I'm not super deep into it, but I would be intrigued to read some extra stuff like that! I think I'll check it out What do you guys think about the new movie coming out that is based from HP? I forget the name...
