Meet Baxter! He's our 5ish year old spaniel mix rescue that we've had since 2/7/14. If LO is one day late they'll share a birthday/adoption day! Baxter's interests include squirrel destruction, long walks, and napping all day.
These are my babies Dezi and Gronk, Chinese dwarf hamsters who are the funniest little guys ever. They have no sense of personal boundaries with each other and frequently stand on each others heads. Also they like to sleep in a sock together.
This is Cooper! He is an almost 4 year old Havanese that we have had since he was 4 months old - our original baby! He loves to snuggle and is always happy. Hoping he adjusts well to the new addition!
This is Persephone, our pretentiously named formerly obese rescue pup. She's a mutt: some kind of amstaff, lab, collie mix according to google image search. She's an old lady (10) who loves sleeping, rubbing up against fences (think Baloo a la the Jungle Book), and snuggles.
Meet Zeus and Poseidon! The tiniest Greek gods you've ever met. Much like their name sakes, they engage in frequent brotherly power struggles, and have polar opposite personalities.
This is Gus-Gus! He's 5 months old and we got him in April right after my latest mc. He has been a great distraction. He loves to sit on your shoulder like a bird, eat grass (and his own poop sometimes), and he loves to be nosey. He's part wiener dog, chihuaua, and pug. In the second picture I caught him snorting crack (powdered sugar).
He showed up on our front yard, a scraggly skinny puppy, the weekend we moved into our house 5 years ago. Hes some type of terrier mutt, we are guessing.
This is my big boy, Ryder! He's a 3yo Siberian husky. He's obsessed with DD and he's actually how I knew I was pregnant with her and this time! He got extra super clingy. He's the best boy!
My husband also has a shih tzu/maltese mix, she's a little b****, but we love her anyway haha
Meet our fur-baby / senior citizen, Katie. She's 13 now, but I rescued her when she was 8. She's a cocker spaniel / shih tzu mix. In her old age she spends most of her time sleeping and snuggling, but she still gets into a bit of mischief every once in a while! She's been great with babies and young kids that she's met, but I'm not sure how she's going to feel when there's one around the house all the time....you know, taking away attention from her!
Anakin, he is a rescue dog, mix border collie. Super cute and cuddly with people he considers part of his pack but shy to strangers. He is about 9 years old now, we have had him since 1ish years old.
This is our furbaby Jake the Dog. He is 11 months old and a German Shepherd/Terrier mix-- we think. He's a sweetheart, loves people, loves other big dogs and loves to run and play! Here he's wearing his hiking backpack to carry his treats.
These are my babies Wall-E and Eve (yes, like the movie). Wall-E is a Chihuahua mix we rescued from our local shelter, he had been there for 5 MONTHS before we rescued him! How is that even possible, he's so cute! He loves to snuggle, wear bow ties and sweaters, and lick everyone and everything. Eve is a terrier mix we bought off of somebody in an apartment complex near us. She was 6 months old and they were going to take her to the pound...I couldn't have that! She loves staring in the trees and hunting squirrels.
The top photo is the rescued mutt named Dizzy, after a nice long walk she props herself up against the walls of her homemade bed and makes faces. The one below is my catsnake Rucker, a rambunctious little dude that is either super hyper go-go-ferret, or asleep. There is no inbetween, but I love him for it. Many laughs to be had throughout a day with these two!
Sorry for multiple pictures, but when they are together it is nonstop playtime so clear pictures all together are impossible!
Firat is Amelia the German Shepherd, then Boogers the Shiba mix, and Jack the worlds smallest Great Dane mix. People always joke that we only adopt black dogs. That's just how it works out I guess!
Sorry for the hugeness. These are my furry boys, Warner and Alton. We "rescued" them from Craigslist, Alton was in a sketchy house with drug paraphernalia (I swear he had drugs on his nose when we got him and cleaned him up), Warner came from a slightly nicer house, but he was covered in feces which makes me think she was confining them to one area (she would not let us back to see where she was keeping him). We probably could have rescued from a shelter, but we felt good about the way we did it and we love them so much!
Marceline is my kitty who I adore so much. Totally more a cat person!
But we have two dogs Beowulf (husky) and Elsa (weenie), who I love so much too. I never "liked" dogs until I had some! I was always scared of them and now I'm not! I love them.
This is Lola my 10 year old shih tzu she is so high maintenance (she is fed spoon by spoon because she has suffered bloat before, very scary and rare in small dogs but does happen) she is very sweet and snuggly and loves playing with DS! Yes she was Snow White for Halloween and once my hubs and I were playing poker and had no dealer so she had the honors lol!
This is my Lily. She is 12 now and the best dog in the whole wide world. We think she's a lab/greyhound mix. We adopted her from the shelter when she was 10 weeks old.

Your first cat reminds me of my baby who lives with my parents. His name is Kelins, he's an old grumpy butt. He's an inside/outside cat and my parents live on an acreage and wouldn't let him come live in the city with me . Cats are the best.
Here are my other fur children. These two live with me. Zeus is 8 and he's the one under the covers and the other is Georgia and she is 7. They're pretty much spoiled rotten like our five year old son.
My parents 4 year old yellow lab, joined the family the day DS was born. We're in the middle of moving so we're staying with them and get to play with( lovingly abuse) her daily.
Okay so I know I already posted a picture of my furball but I had the best cuddle session with him today. He knows when I feel miserable (and today definitely fit that criteria) and though he's usually all play and no cuddle, tonight I saw a rare side of him. (TW*) My hubby bought him for me as an emotional support when I lost the first pregnancy and he's been my best buddy ever since. Ferret love!
Runnermom04 I'm so glad you posted this pic because it's pretty much the spitting image of my yellow lab Jack except mine is 8 and actually has a Feb birthday too! He will be 9 on the 19th. He's the best. I'm a loser and seriously need to get a pic of him on here. I don't know what I would do without him. Love that dog.
