@mrsmommya unfortunately I've tried everything for my swollen feet and nothing is working. I've put them above my chest, soaked them, rubbed them. Nothing!
Water broke earlier this morning. It was a crazy amount of fluid and still gushing periodically. We are taking our time getting up to the hospital though since the contractions haven't really kicked in yet. Happy Sunday!!
So I think my water is leaking. I'm going to go checked out once my mom gets here to take me in. Fx all these pains the past few days actually did something! I'll keep you guys updated!
Thanks ladies! Unfortunately after 2 cervix checks (ouch) they determined that it was just discharge. I'm still 2.5 cm dilated and 70% effaced. Haven't made progress in almost 3 weeks. That's pretty disheartening. With my due date in 8 days I'm feeling like the next post will be in the overdue club!
Ugh @setosh sorry to hear that?! I have my next check tomorrow 39w and I am desperately hoping for a 3!! I am due on July 26th but really have no inclination this baby is coming on her own. We also get to pick an induction date tomorrow, which I am hoping doc says yes to 7/28
@mrsmommya I have an appointment tomorrow as well! We have the same due date I know for a fact my doctor isn't letting me set an induction date. They let me go to at least 41 weeks so we could be looking at Aug 2nd if she sets one.
This back ache either needs to go away or turn into something proper. This in between is seriously getting on my last nerve, I've still 6 days left but come on! Fed up is an understatement right now.
@mrsmommya and @setosh - I'm due the 26th as well! My induction will be scheduled for the 29th, but I'm praying she comes before that because inductions scare me!!! C'mon babies!!

Yeah I really do not want an induction! I pray that we all go before we reach that point! Fx!!
Went in for my 39w appointment today. No changes over the last 3 appointments. We scheduled an NST for next week on my due date, granted I'm still pregnant. I'm wishing that there would of been some change but evidently little guy is quite cozy and content right where he's at.
@tennisbabymama I'm experiencing the opposite at 39 weeks. Last night he only moved a few times. Around 12:30 he had a little spurt then nothing again. I have an appointment later and plan to bring it up. I wish all pregnancies were the same. It would be so easy!
@setosh Ah yes, wouldn't that be so nice? I'm sure there would be a lot less stress involved! Let me know what your doc says. I know my doc says a lot less movement at this stage is normal, which is what I have had until the last couple of days. I also have an appointment today and am going to bring up baby's new dancing skills.
I am 39 + 4 and baby girl has been moving constantly the last day and a half. its the most she's moved in the last 9 months...
My baby also was extremely active at around 39+4. It worried me a bit since he was REALLY moving around in there, not just a little, but I've had an ultrasound since then and he is as healthy as can be. I am now 40+3 and movement is less the past day or so.
@tennisbabymama - I have some days where LO is super active and some where they seem to move the bare minimum to keep my sanity. I had a BPP last week because the doctor was concerned when I said baby wasn't moving as much, and it was totally fine. Every time baby has a dance party I tell it to come out ... there's plenty of room out here to have dance parties with mom and dad!
Anyone experience more swelling in one foot over the other? I've had mild swellimg for the most part, but today I noticed that my left foot is more swollen than my right.

I had this slightly, but I know if there is a significant difference you should let your doc know
I keep having these contractions I'm convinced are leading somewhere. If I walk through them it literally feels like baby is stabbing it's way out from the inside and my water will break. I have to really concentrate to breathe through it. But not consistent. I'm not sure if this is what a real contraction is or just lightening crotch.
@tennisbabymama I was JUST telling a friend that happened to me yesterday morning before going to work. I just showered, had a towel around myself and went to let my dogs in their crate. As I knelt down, I felt a trickle and thought maybe fluid....WRONG, I PEED...the dogs look at me like, "mom, you are such a hypocrite for yelling at us as puppies for peeing inside and yet you are doing the same thing" LOL
@tennisbabymama All week I've been playing the game "Sweat or Pee" I doubt my water will break at home. Only something like 10-15% of women have their water break at home. Also since I had what I thought was a leak I went to L&D, turned out I peed myself for the first time. Don't want to repeat that!
