Has anyone announced their pregnancy yet to friends? We just did Wed and wanted to share our announcement photo and see what you all did we wanted to make our friends think so went with a photo riddle
We had DS next to this sign in a superman onesie! It is super cute! sorry I'm super weird about sharing our pics online that's why only his foot is in it
We announced early... But the joke's on us. Should've been red, white and duo. Haven't announced there's two. I still haven't come to terms myself, plus the risk factor just shot up. Maybe after another strong u/s.
I announced about a week ago after my second hospital stay for HG. It was getting hard to hide because I'm usually very active on social media and literally never home, we usually do a day trip every single day with the kids (I'm a sahm). So people had been asking questions, and we need a village and support right now. I didn't announce in a fun way, more of a "this is what's going on, we are happy, trying to get healthy and could use prayers". My fam and friends somewhat understand as I have been through this before. I'm sad we didn't get to do a joyful happy reveal and hope to do something extra special to reveal the sex later on.
@PerraSucia thanks! My DH is thrilled to have a boy.
@rmpiszczek Neat! I found a similar picture on Pintrest but it was for a boy. I had my mom dig out the game (I have the iPad version!) and take a few photos. It was a huge hit on Facebook. Many people commented on the creativity of the pic.
@bdesterhouse I googled Disney font and they have downloads you can put onto your computer for free. It then gets put into all your Microsoft office programs. I first got it when I was writing my vows for my wedding and it has come in handy ever since.
Love all the ideas! We won't be going FB official until well into December, if that (SO is a very private kind of guy). Thinking of putting a hint on the holiday cards we send out at the beginning of December with DD sitting holding on of her baby outfits or something like that. But I've got time.
These ideas are great. Personally, I haven't thought about it much - but since we're moving to the US soon I might go with a onsie that says "made in Canada"? But we won't post to FB for awhile so I've got time to think and ponder
---TW BFP and MC mentioned - scroll down past the Lilo and Stitch gif to avoid ---
I got DD a shirt that says 'I may be little, but I'm going to be a big sister'. Going to do a pic with her in it and *fingers crossed* one of her hugging my 'belly'! She'll only be 14mo when we announce, so I'm hoping she cooperates for the pics haha
We posed the beach picture while on vacation and 5 to 6 wks pregnant! We waited and we announced last week. I did my nails this weekend. We were 8 wks And a few days. Doc said chance of mc was 5% so we couldn't wait! My mom made little memes for her and my dad to post and one for my sister's to post.
If I can get my dwarf hamsters to participate I want to get them to sit by a sign That says "we're getting a human, Feb '17" but they don't really sit too well for photos. We have time because at the earliest We'll announce in September and might just wait until we know the sex in October prob.
My last hamster would sit and pose in hats and outfits as long as he got a steady stream of treats he didn't care. He actually loved his leprechaun hat and would throw a fit when it was time to take it off. These two are silly and won't take treats unless I put them in their food dish.

We were gonna do the "superhero/sidekick" one because my preemie has always been "superhero "B", but it's becoming so popular of late. So instead, I'm buying this shirt and I'll have all 4 of my kids posing in some crazy way while I just stand there and "look cute and calm" lol!
We bought both sets of parents a "Love at First Sight" frame, and will insert our most recent ultrasound picture, at which I'll be 13 weeks. We're waiting to announce until almost 14 weeks (for various reasons), and are already having trouble holding it in..... 4 more weeks to go!!
My DS1's birthday is in August and that's when we planned on telling everyone, once we're out of the first trimester. I was thinking on getting shirts made for both. One saying "professional big bother" and the other "big brother in training, graduating February 2017" and see who catches on lol. More than likely I'll spill the beans prior and won't need the shirts.
there was a stork on the beach a couple of weeks go when we were setting up our canopy, DH and I snuck over and stood by it and had my mom snap a pic. I don't really like the way I look (I am all bloated and have no make up on) but it's such a funny picture though!
Re: Announcement Photos
We shared ours with everyone pretty early because we were so excited, but here it is!
This was a screen shot of a video I took telling my girls.
Now, we need to work on that SN ;-)

We announced yesterday. Since we had genetic testing we thought we'd do a pregnancy and sex reveal at the same time.
