@KarliQ88 lunch meat is considered a no because of a risk of listeria. My doctor says I have about as good of a chance of getting it from any random piece of fruit or other packaged food and doesn't seem to think it's too much of a concern if I want to eat some here or there. I agree with her so I do eat it occasionally. I do heat up turkey and ham but only because I like them warm.
So, I went to White Castle for lunch today. My husband knew of my craving and told me they have veggie siders now. Not only did I spend so much time waiting that I didnt even really have time to eat, but they were the worst veggie product I have ever had, and they didnt even have a pickle (the part I was most looking forward to). Now, I am still hungry and dont get a chance for another break for 2 hours :-( Such a disappointment!!
Raw garlic. I convinced myself I am not going to get a spoonful today, but now it is on my mind. I am officially getting out of bed ladies...
I just saw this but careful eating too much raw garlic, it can act as a blood thinner. I ate a couple of cloves a day pre-pregnancy because it has a lot of stuff in it that is good for boosting your immune system and keeping colds and flu away (allicin), but my OB warned me not to eat more than a clove every couple of days to avoid the risk of bleeding.
Apparently "pickles" is a weird craving according to my husband lol. I was like what? I like pickles! He said I don't just randomly crave them though lol.
Alright. Just developed my first weird craving. I want to dip a Nestle crunch bar into my jalepeño queso. I think the spicy from the queso will pair deliciously with the sweet/salty chocolate. I don't think I can rest until this happens.
Told hubby I'm not cooking supper tonight because ALL I want is mr. Noodles (instant noodles for those that don't know) went grocery shopping today and literally couldn't walk away from them without getting some...omg I need it now!
Seriously grocery shopping is the worst. My cart is full of random crap that I would never normally eat. Jello, pop tarts, fruity yogurt, garlic bread. It doesn't even go together!
I'm not going to outright say it was a craving, but the pickles (which are black pepper pickles btw) were there and the peanut butter was there and well... shit got weird.
I'm so sad that I'm just now figuring out how good they are. Not that I was pickle-avoidant in the past, but damn.
@thepax89 It was pretty good! If you try it just make sure too much pickle juice doesn't mix in with the peanut butter. It tasted a little weird in patches. The texture was amazing though haha.

My whole life I think I hate pickles. Assumed it's the vinegar because I like cucumbers. Turns out, After 27 years I realized that I actually hate dill.
@canavara May I suggest pickles and cream cheese? This is my guilty pleasure that I would eat for every meal if I could get away with it. It's all my body wants, haha.
@ceclarlinetlo H loathes pickles - like won't even kiss me after I've eaten pickles until I've brushed my teeth. He'll eat pickled anything else, but it's the cucumber that he hates. (BTW you guys are weird more pickles for me!!!)
Not very weird, but I have been craving spicy buffalo sauce. I've eating buffalo chicken every day this week lol. Dominoes chicken kickers were the first ones this week, and when I finished the chicken, I literally just kept sticking my finger in the hot sauce cup and eating it that way LOL, I just about drank it
Lately I want fair food or anything fried! With all the fairs going on it would be so easy to satisfysatisfy my craving. Pre-pregnancy I liked to drink pickle juice from the jar on occasion and now I want it daily!
The other day I was craving a Wendy's frosty with fries to dip in it. I've never had it that way, but it sounded absolutely perfect. I didn't get it though, because you know, I would have had to put on pants and leave the house.
@cjs260 I just picked up cream cheese for my bagels last night. I was so pumped this morning and now I'm really sad I didn't think to add pickles to the mix. Now I'm already looking forward to breakfast tomorrow!
@emilyeh I've mentioned this several times in different threads but I have CRAVED Chef Boyardee raviolis and Spaghetti' Os (the spaghetti'os have to be served cold) SO.HARD. I finally gave in and bought one of each can. I ate them in the following couple days and totally satisfied my craving and haven't wanted them since. Not that I've recoiled at the thought of the, just simply haven't craved them. I hadn't eaten that in over 10 years but I simply HAD to have them.
@christac1010 sorry for double posting but I just read your post and had to reply. When I go out for burgers I always get a cheeseburger, fries and strawberry milkshake. I like to dip some of my fries into my strawberry milkshake and it is FANTASTIC! The salty/starchy potato mixed with the sweet/creaminess of the milkshake is freaking phenomenal. I also put some of my fries on my burger and add extra ketchup on top, truly remarkable. Might have to make a run to 5 Guys for lunch today...
On the topic of mixing foods together...last weekend hubby went a got some a&w bacon and Eggers for breakfast...added the hash brown onto the sandwich....BEST.BREAKFAST.EVER!!
@canavara@loveinak I have been known to eat an entire can of kidney beans in one sitting. Room temperature, with salt. So good.
My husband does this pretty frequently lol he puts Frank's Red Hot on them though. I love chic peas. I eat those a lot. I heat them up a little though first.
Yesterday I caught myself asking the waiter specifically for two slices of a freshly cut lime that recently came out of the fridge. I salted them and bit into them like I was preparing for a tequila shot. It was orgasmic. My husband just stared at me like.. "Well.. that just happened"
OMG you guys, I want McDonalds nuggets so bad. Like 30 of them. With all the dipping sauces. I want it. Have resisted so far, because I'm afraid that once I give in it'll be unstoppable. I just got my appetite back this week and it's dangerous. All unhealthy things look amazing. The previous post about ramen is also making me want some immediately
