This week I finally have not only one, but two confessions.

1. Wednesday was such a rough everything-in-the-world-that-could-go-wrong-has-gone-wrong kind of day. By the time DH got home, I just had to get out of the house, so I went to pick up Tylenol for DS (whose illness certainly contributed to the rough day). So a trip to CVS was my "break" haha. While checking out I saw a deal for BOGO on candy bars. I promptly picked out a King-Sized Reese's Cup with 4 and Peanut M&Ms and ate both in the car before going home.

2. Thurs night was date night for DH & I and we went for a walk on a trail nearby our house. At one point, the trail went into this creepy part of the forest and it was almost dusk so it was getting dark. I was feeling frisky so I put my hands in DH's pants and gave him a full-out HJ in the middle of the trail. Granted, it was completely deserted and we saw no one, but now DH thinks he has a mosquito bite on his balls.

I want to close the TTGP Discussion poll for the sole reason that it's been used to post derogatory statements anonymously about the board, and I'm in such a bad mood it makes me want to tit punch somebody.

Also - I'm pushing H to get a new job and potentially take a small pay cut for three reasons: he said if he took it he would be a lot more open to TTGP sooner than planned, he would be home a lot more, and it would give me more freedom to get a different job and cut my hours here significantly.

Also - I've spent yesterday afternoon and all day today at work looking for other jobs, and have put in applications to almost 10 different positions... while working. #NoFucksGiven

@izza2 I hope those derogatory comments on the poll are not from contributing members of this board. We are all supposed to be helpful, supportive, and encouraging. That makes me sad. I know you wanted to keep it open to allow everyone the chance to vote. But I also know some people just drag their feet. Maybe you could set a deadline. Say Sunday? That way if people really want their voice and opinion to be heard then they will vote. Then you can close the poll without too many more bad comments.

WTF? What are people saying? The usual about how we're totally all bitter bitches? And yeah I think if people aren't really voting and it's turned into that it may be time to close it. I would imagine that pretty much all the regulars and most of the regular lurkers have voted by now.

My confession is that I've already used over 60 OPKs this month and it's only CD32. I know that's way more than I needed to use but some days testing like 5 times just made me feel better and helped relieve some TTC stress. I don't know I guess while impatiently WTO it made me feel like I was doing something useful. #sorrynotsorry

Confession: While watching a wildlife documentary I full on ugly cried when a mommy sea turtle was trying to lay eggs but got stuck in the rocks on the shore, and then relief cried when the tide rose and saved her.

@KristinH88 - Most of the comments it's gotten so far were helpful or encouraging, but this one was just way unnecessary. Like, not even one ounce of "here's how to improve", just plain old being a dick.
Both of the polls have had minimal participation the past few days, so I'm thinking I'll push to close them this weekend.

I'm also curious about what people are saying but appreciate that you may not want to open that can of worms. Do people say this board is bitchy? That's funny bc I came over from TK where some of the posters can get nasty. This is a much softer environment.

My confession is that I have barely done any work this week and I can't see myself staying in the office past 3pm today. I think I will treat myself to a mani/pedi when I leave.

I know I don't know everyone's back story and try not to but I can't help but get annoyed/jealous when I see people who have been ttc for a couple months or less and get KU. Don't get me wrong, I am happy for them and wish them the healthiest PG ever, but it still hurts and stings and makes me feel bad about myself. Ok sad pity party over now

@izza2 I have two, and I refuse to play without WiFi because I heard it eats data, so I'm guessing I won't get very far. I also was too old for pokemon when it came out so I have no idea what anything is, or what the point is, but with all the hype I thought I'd at least see what it's all about.

@izza2 Just because their "screen name" isn't attached to the survey does not give anyone the right to take your hard work and time consumed in collecting our answers and turn it into some anonymous "[insert name] is a big, fat meanie face" and pity party. We all have feelings and they know full well someone - izza2 - is going to have to read those comments.

@eggplantface I don't know if he does! I'm the only one he's ever been with and I also actually enjoy giving BJs... Maybe that's another fffc, or UO? Either way, I don't think that's the norm and he lucked out! But he has no one to compare it to so he probably thinks it's normal haha.

@travelingcouple that is too funny, and he better damn sure realize how good you are for that! On the way back home from our vacation in May, I was feeling frisky while driving, so reached over and gave DH a full on handjob. He DID NOT know what to think. His nervousness was comical.

@antoto I knew I had strep throat yesterday, but couldn't get to the doc for abx until after 5, so ended up having to go to urgent care. Long story short, I waited over five hours to be seen and then on my rx. I was so hungry when I left, that I cried when the person from sonic brought me my order. Like, full-on shoulders heaving up and down "please take my money and leave the food because I'm so embarrassed" cried.

@crazypt2285 I've only been around the boards for a month or so, and only TTC for 3 months, so I'm not sure of all the stories either. But one of my best friends got a BFP this week and they weren't trying. I'm super happy for her, but part of me wants to cry.

@eggplantface me too! I've only played a bit and understand maybe half of it. Ha

My confession is that I'm milking this sickness all. damn. weekend. so that DH will get off his booty and take care of things that I normally take care of. I normally now and everything, but started working again two weeks ago, so the lawn has literally not been mowed since then. *huge eye roll* Also, it won't kill him to cook a meal for me. After all, I'm super sick!

@mrsdee15 @izza2 @eggplantface Samesies. I was too old for pokemon when it became popular (I was a bit snooty, "That's for kids and nerds") but it's been really fun catching them and figuring out how to level up and stuff. Still too scared to battle at a gym or do anything like that haha. Anything to keep my mind off ttc, tbh!!!

I read a post that was like, what if this game was Harry Potter themed? I feel like you would see even more participation and fewer people getting all stuck up about it...

@NamelessAria I just opened my bag of Wondfos and there are only 5 left. That means I used 45 last cycle (when I wasn't even trying, I was benched and preventing!). I'm just thankful for Amazon prime and 2 day delivery cause it's getting close to 3 a day testing time and I need my stock to be ready! I am glad I'm not the only one who feels peeing on sticks gives me more control over this process.

I just spent 20 minutes stalking old posts (like a week or two old) because I randomly remembered a certain bumper that I haven't seen participate in a while and wanted to stalk them. Did they get a BFP, move on, and didn't let us know? Are they ok? Where are you random bumper that I'm thinking of!?!?! I don't necessarily have anything to say or ask them, they just randomly popped into my head. Like, "Hey whatever happened to so-and-so?"

My FFFC is that I have been at my new job for just under 3 months and I am already actively seeking employment elsewhere, even though I told them I'd stick around at least a year. I've never been a position less than 2 years, but everything they promised me has been already broken, things are going down hill and they don't appear to value their employees, so why should I be expected to keep my promise? Wasn't written into a contract, so

@AliciaGoose I think said person changed their name. I couldn't remember exactly what it was, so I had to stalk old posts. I knew what their picture looked like though. When I found one of their posts, their name wasn't anything that I had remembered it being (Maybe I'm just crazy?) But when I clicked their name, it said no recent activity.....???

Edited for Clarification: I copy/pasted their name into the search bar and it said no results found. But when I clicked their name it said last active July 11.

I'm such a stalker! Hahaha! But always just out of curiosity/good reasons. I promise I'm not an internet creeper!

Edited again to add: I found the post. And they maybe got a BFP. They were in the TWW. Who knows? I'm un-boarding the crazy train now.

@mrsdaddario Right?!? She was relatively new so I'm hoping that wouldn't have steered her away from announcing a BFP if she actually got one. And/or I'm hoping that there wasn't some sort of negativity thrown her way from the community and she decided to stop participating.

ETA but then I don't want to tag her if she is just needing space from the board due to a BFN or AF. So I will just sit and wait. And watch. And LURK (aka stalk)

My FFFC is that I keep a microwave under my desk at work. This is already a no-no, and I'm such a rule follower that it's amazing I'm breaking one. Plusalso, it is disgustingly dirty because I don't really look at it that much, and the breakroom sink is far away.

What really made me confess, though, is that when I use it, I don't let the timer run all the way down so it won't beep...and to clear it out, I use my toe to push the button.

I ordered takeout sushi for lunch today. I've been on this whole30 for the past month+ and haven't had sushi in so long, I was a bit excited and ordered a LOT. My FFFC is that while I was on the phone with the restaurant, I pretended to be talking to someone in the background so they wouldn't think all that food was for me. When I picked it up, they gave me 3 sets of chopsticks - so apparently I had ordered enough for 3 people. #noshame #yesIwilleatitall

My FFFC is that I looked at and started mocking up Christmas Party Invitations, and started pinning more to my Christmas boards this week.

I can't help it! I love summer above all things but there is something that starts calling to me this time of year to start thinking about Christmas!! Maybe my body knows the days are getting shorter and this is its version of doomsday prepping? haha

Ooh, I just remembered another, much bigger FFFC. After my sister and her three kids, my 2 nieces and nephew, flew out on Wednesday after visiting me for 4 days, I gave OH a wrap up of the trip over the phone. I mentioned that she had teased me about whether I wanted another child in addition to SS after having experienced the three kid craziness, and he asked me if my sister knew I was trying to get KU. We have agreed not to tell anyone, especially our families. I was able to tell him truthfully that she doesn't...she's just aware that I want another one or two. I haven't told any family because I wouldn't be able to deal with the pressure if they knew. Then he asked me if anyone knew. And I told him no, which is slightly less than true. I have a few IRL friends who know I went off BCP, and two that know about the CP (they've both had losses and understand). I should probably feel bad because I respect his feelings and any agreements we have. But he's mostly worried about "jinxing it" and I don't want to freak him out.

So I feel bad, but I don't.

The only FFFC I can think of right now (other than that I googled "FFFC The Bump" lol) Is that I've been taking my temp every morning for three months now and I'm pretty sure DH still doesn't know why

He asked me about a month in "Are you just taking your temperature to know what it is?" To which I replied....."Yesssss" and rolled back over

Hahaha @rainbowturtles DH knows I temp for something TTC related, but I don't think he really knows why or what it means. I randomly will talk about getting CH and/or ovulating, but I don't think he even knows what ovulating means...
