So today I had a follow up appointment with a new doctor to discuss our options for our miscarriage diagnosis last week. To our surprise the new doctor wasn't convinced with our prior diagnosis and wanted to do a full work up before proceeding with recommendations.

Well y'all I guess right now this is my miracle! The ultrasound not only showed a weeks growth for the baby from our last ultrasound but it also showed a heartbeat of 136, and my hcg levels confirmed that I'm progressing as I should be for my gestational age.

I am in shock. I'm thrilled but almost too nervous and hesitant to really give into happiness. I do still have a Subchorionic Hematoma but the doctor wasn't overly worried and said we will continue to monitor it.

So for now, I'm still in the game! I still might be a February 2017 Mom!!

@Gingersnap they did an ultrasound today which found the heartbeat and the growth. Today's apt was actually mis scheduled so they sent us next door to the ER for an ultrasound, but it was well worth it! We are going back to our doctor tomorrow afternoon to discuss what our follow ups will look like to monitor the SCH.
