R/R/CS: Gah. My irrational brain is convinced that I'm pregnant. My rational brain is yelling at me to "Stop that!". The next few days until I want to test are going to crawl....
CS/Q: Another temping newbie question: Do you tend to see the same temp ranges month to month? Like pre-o is always XX - XX and post-o always YY-YY? Or does it change cycle to cycle?
GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years? I like this question. My goal is to get my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. I work in process improvement and really need this certification to move up in my career. My last job was supposed to help me get this, but my boss wouldn't put any effort into assisting me. My current boss said that I have to wait until this current project is over, but she'll help me after that. I'm sick of the waiting game.
Testing: Hmm...gonna try to hold out until July 22 (12 DPO)
R/R/CS: Yay! I go here now! And this is the BEST timing we've ever gotten. Only missing 1 day in the FW. I'm really proud of us! And probably WAY to overly optimistic that this will be THE cycle. Someone bring me back to reality.
CS/Q: Just gonna throw this out there since I got CHs.
GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years?
Obviously, I would hope to get pregnant with my rainbow, take home baby. I want to be promoted to Manager within the next year. And promoted to the next step up by the time 5 years ends. I want to become and maintain a debt free lifestyle (other than our home loan).
timing: 2 day before Ov, 1 day before Ov and day of Ov (just in case!)
Testing: bfn this morning
RR: So I'm a bit excited, I had a dip in temp yesterday (97.6)- well this morning it sky rocked to 98.3! I'm praying yesterday was an implantation dip. Not getting my hopes up though!!
gtky: in the next 5 yrs I want to change my BA into a BS and then go into a science based mastered program but I haven't decided what I want to do yet
@RunBooRun I'm hoping others jump in on your question. I have very limited experience with temping (it's only my 2nd month) and my charts were WAY different. A good chunk of my pre-O temps this month were in the same range as my post-O temps the month before. And then it settled down a bit more a few days before O. I've heard other ladies mention that their temps did fall within certain ranges though.
CD/DPO: 22/3 - Crosshairs today! @KirstinH88 We made it to the TWW!
Timing: -4, -1, +1 Not the EOD I wanted but it's cool, it's cool
Testing: we'll see about that.
R/R/CS: For the past 2 nights, I've woken up at 3:30 (temp alarm is 4:30 - hence the open circles) to pee. I've consciously stopped drinking water close to bedtime because I'm the queen of getting up to pee, but does it ever weird anyone else out that your body will wake up at the SAME time?
CS/Q: nothing today
GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years?
We want to buy our forever home! We're in a townhouse right now that's okay, but we truly only bought it because it was cheaper to pay the mortgage than rent. Hopefully we'll get some equity, but we're going to have to save a TON each month to get what we want in the school district we want. It's gonna be tough but we will do it!
And if/when we have a baby, I will start a college fund right away - most likely after the first trimester. I would do it now but obviously that would "jinx" us.
@RunBooRun Its so hard to find the balance between staying positive that this could be the month and staying realistic so you aren't devastated if its not. I started temping in February but had some spikes along the way (unusual sleeping patterns and a fever). I am just now starting to see patterns in my temps.
Testing: I'm so ashamed. I tested for the 3rd time this morning with another BFN. From now on I'm just waiting for AF
R/R/CS: see above regarding my obsession with peeing on sticks this month. Today is our consult with the RE and I'm super excited to get a little more aggressive with our plan.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years? Hopefully have a child (maybe 2 if we are lucky), buy a house and maybe find a new job.

Testing: stopped testing for my sanity. i think the trigger is now gone from late last night. dh has my last 3 hpts.
R/R/CS: I'm done temping too, per my dh's hiding my thermometer. If af isn't here on sunday i'll test, otherwise waiting it out.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years? Like @KirstinH88 I'd obviously like my rainbow baby. Then I've promised my dh we're done. So aside from that I'm pretty content with my life. We don't have debt, and I haven't worked since dd1 was born in 2007 and not planning to go back anytime soon.
Testing: another BFN this morning. And a huge temp drop. Not feeling very positive about this cycle.
R/R: I think I'm out and fully expecting to see AF soon. My luteal phase was only 9 days last cycle.
GTKY: DH and I have some big work changes in the next few years. We definitely want to decide where we want to settle long term and buy a house there. There are so many options right now that it's a little overwhelming.
Testing: yesterday and today, BFN. I'm just a glutton for punishment
R/R/CS: I haven't started bleeding yet!! I'm so excited that if I can just make it past today without starting AF, then I officially had at least a 10 day LP! So much better than the last two cycles which were 7 and 8. I keep telling myself that even if I'm not KU this cycle, that is a huge win, so I'll take it. I mean, I'd rather take a BFP, but silver linings. Other things I tell myself to try and ease the disappointment of not being KU: I can have a beer and I get another month to get myself into better shape...it helps for a little bit. Still scared every time i go to the bathroom though...
CS/Q: no questions or chart stalks i guess. But this up and down business that my temps are doing is just for the birds.
GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years? Is it bad that I really like where I am in life? I'd like to have a child or 2 obviously. But beyond that, we have a nice house in a good neighborhood close to family and friends. I like my job. Maybe my goal could be knocking some stuff off of my bucket list. I'd love to see the northern lights and visit the Scandinavian countries. Also a visit to Greece and Spain. I could make that happen in the next 5 years.
Edited because I like @KirstinH88 debt free goal! In 5 years DH says he should have his loans paid off. That would be AMAZING!!

@RunBooRun I'm also only 2 months into temping, but I've found my pre-o temps are typically around the high 96, low 97 range and post-o temps are typically mid to high 97 and low 98.
@KirstinH88 haha oh man i know that feeling!! I tell DH not to show my his statement each month. Otherwise I would just freak out. He did one year at a PRIVATE law school before deciding it wasn't for him...expensive experiment he did there lol. But he says he's on track, soooo we will see!

Testing: I tested last night at 7dpo when I got home from work. With a decent amount of diluted pee. Of course it was BFN. I say I won't do it again until/if AF is late. But I mean really....?
R/R: Not too much to report today. I am super nervous about my phone interview tomorrow. I have only had 1 interview in my life and have been at that job ever since. And I really want this job so I am kinda freaking out. So I will be taking a bunch of notes about the company to try and help me through it. Rave - As if I wasn't BSC enough yesterday morning, my boss added fuel to the fire. I did not quit OR kill him so that is a good thing right?
CS/Q?: So I woke up this morning and did this with my thermometer. I went from 96.77 ( that big ass temp drop yesterday ) to a whopping climb to 96.78 this morning. Really?
GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years? To hopefully have a take home baby. Also get both DH and I's credit score in a excellent range. Be debt free. And hopefully either take over the house we are in, or buy a house. A new career would be totes awesome as well.

I have had zero credit card debt in the past, but this last year with the move and starting up the business have been brutal. Student loans are coming along, but slower lately than in the beginning when I was getting a regular paycheck. Get the business on track so we are actually PAYING OURSELVES, pay off all the startup debt and student loans. Buy something - not decided yet, but probably a cheapass old fixer that could also be a potential rental/income property. We hope to have multiple properties at some point, including multi-family, but we have to start somewhere! Plus throw 2-3 kids in there, and hey, it could be more like a 8-10 year plan, but we'd really like to have 4-6 kids, if possible... And singing. Definitely need to do more singing...
@RunBooRun I would say definitely maybe? But not really though? And seriously, not anything to worry too much about specifics like that. Each cycle has a different curve shape and a different coverline, (which is somewhat arbitrary anyway), although I have found some interesting correlations between the overall shapes around the same time of year from the previous year. It doesn't mean anything though. Just to give you an idea, I've overlaid 7 of my charts without respect to coverline. The shapes and temp ranges all seem pretty wildly different taken one at a time, but overall, sure, I guess you could say they generally fall within x or y range? Sort of? But not really though because clearly if you look at the green line for Sept 05th cycle, some of those post-O temps are easily in range with pre-O temps for March, February and November. Personally? I. Really don't think about that aspect at all when I'm charting.

@BusinessWife Thanks! That's really helpful! I'm not really worried, just more curious. I'm an engineer who studies processes for a living, so I heart data.
@RunBooRun My temps are like that. Pre-O is usually under 97.0 and Post-O is usually above it.
Month/Cycle: 14/15
CD/DPO: 18/4
Timing: -3, -2, +1
Testing: July 22, 13 DPO (@KirstinH88 We can be testing day buddies!)
R/R/CS: I have been having pain on the bottom outside of my foot by my pinky toe. I've tried tons of stretches and nothing has helped, so I'm taking the day off working out, which is a bummer because I was just getting back into my routine.
CS/Q: I think my chart is looking pretty, actually.
GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years? In May 2017 I will have worked for the school district for 5 years and will qualify for a set amount of money from the state for loan repayment. At this point, I think it will be enough to completely pay off my school loans, which will be awesome!
DH and I are also trying to pay our house off before I'm 35. That is actually 6 years but that's close enough for me. Of course, we would also like to have a couple kids in the next 5 years as well.
Edited because The Bump ate my post! GRRR.

@RunBooRun I have the same constant argument with myself on a daily basis and I am pretty early on lol @KirstenH88 nice timing!! yikes! @daisy621 Haha nice move handing over the tests! Self control is so difficult in the TWW @jatwal128 I like your positive attitude! FX for that BFP! @GrabberBlue2010 your gifs get me every time. Sending you all the luck in the world for your interview tomorrow!
Month/Cycle: 7/6
CD/DPO: 40/6
Timing:-5, -3, -1, 0, +1
Testing: Trying to hold out for next Wednesday or Thursday (13 or 14 DPO)
R/R/CS: Rave: Last night DH made an awesome dinner - zoodles, pesto and shrimp. I highly recommend you give it a try. We bought the shrimp precooked and frozen. We had homemade pesto in the freezer but I am sure the premade kind would work too. It all came together quickly and is diet friendly!
Rant: I think I have given up on temping (sort of) for TWW. Still going to temp but not at the same time unless it works out that way. I figure if I am KU, I'm KU and I can't worry too much about what my temps are doing. The reason for this is I have been having trouble sleeping and also I set my FF time for later this cycle but I want to get back into going to the gym in the morning which requires an earlier wake up time.
CS/Q: (Because see rant above) other than a temp drop indicating AF or a triphasic chart why else would you care about exact temps in TWW?
GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years? Eeeep this is a big one. Hopefully, I will be taking a new job soon so learning a new area and improving there. Of course, starting a family with one or two kids. Continuing to travel (pipe dream??) and saving money.
Testing: i said I will wait until AF but im really anxious and impatient this cycle so probably will test Friday
R/R/CS: You guys!! I am finally able to access TB from a desktop and I can see all the siggy's!!! Bad news is that is on my work computer so productivity is about to go wayyyyy down; PS this is so much easier than Mobile!! I have also gone down the Charts like mine rabbit hole. someone pull me back!
CS/Q: How does one create a siggy?
GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years? (I am skipping the obvious of having a baby) 1. Purchase a house 2. Pay down our debt 3. Not go into further debt with our wedding planning 4. Become a soccer mom somehow with my work schedule 5. Develop a savings! because we currently have none.
R/R/CS: I suspect AF will make an appearance today. My cycle has only been more than 28 days a handful of times in the past several years. DH and I got into a fight before I left for work. So that plus the BFN has me in a grumpy mood again today
CS/Q:
GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years? Obviously to have our rainbow baby (maybe even 2!). To be 100% debt free. To have my current house turned into a rental property and be living in our forever home! The ones of those that I can control are coming along nicely so far.

@MandyBeeSLP Yes! I like that idea. I'm pretty good at not caving and keeping myself accountable, since I don't keep any HPTs in stock. If I want to test, I have to go to the store and buy one, and I can usually talk myself out of it.
@RunBooRun ah yes, I get it. no need to SS just out of almost professional curiosity. ;) My husband was almost an Engineer, so we are kind of like that around our house too! We do commercial/industrial pipework, generally speaking, and underground water/sewer, but are thinking you know, real five-ten year plan could involve a shift to more specialized process piping. All vercool. What type of applications do you deal with?
@Saralee797 I guess that depends. My LP temps were showing the length of my LP as well as a pretty steep drop off, which turned out to be predicative of my early/steep drop off of P4 levels, too. So... ?? In comparison, my first Progesterone cycle has a longer LP and it's cool how you can see that drop off change compared with my averages for previous LPs. It's easier for me just to temp all the time, same time every day, throughout my whole cycle and then it just becomes automatic. But I know some people prefer to take a break all together once they know they have O'd, or else as long as AF is still hanging around. Personal preference I guess. It would be hard for me to look at a half-done chart. It's bad enough for me looking back at an earlier chart done while we were moving and the temps are all over the place! It just makes me a little
Welp, i must have jinxed myself because I have a little spotting going on now Still hoping that full CD 1 holds off until tomorrow...but now i'm just waiting for her to show the F up. Guess who's drinking a delicious ice cold craft beer soon.
@BusinessWife I'm actually in healthcare. I currently work in the IT department at a hospital system helping with the transition to a new medical record system. Most of my job is breaking down what doctors/nurses/techs/admins/etc do into a process and helping them become more efficient by looking at patterns in the data we collect. Also trying to ensure that the new system will meet their needs. I also work with the project managers and ensure that resources are being used appropriately. I'm kind of a people person engineer, which is an oxymoron. Basically, my job involves a lot of convincing MDs that just because I think that printer would be better placed over there instead of where it currently is located (to reduce the amount of walking back and forth which reduces time), that doesn't mean I'm trying to tell you how to diagnose your patients.
My DH is also an engineer that does a lot with project management. You should have seen the project plan we had for redoing our bathroom. Also, no one could possibly have a more awesome budget spreadsheet than we do.
@BusinessWife Okay that makes sense. Thanks for the info. I already decided that next cycle (if there is one... please no) that I will be temping earlier so if I want to go to the gym early it won't mess up my chart #chartlife
@jatwal128 Nooooo I was so rooting for you! Hope AF holds off anyway.
@jatwal128 sorry An ice cold craft beer definitely sounds like it's in order.

Testing plan: I'll probably start testing Friday at 10dpo and test through the weekend. If all BFN I will just wait for AF & only test again if she doesn't show by next Wednesday.
R/R/CS: I am starting to mildly SS.. sigh.
Questions: None right now.
GTKY: Other than have at least 1 child:
1) Decorate my house fully 2) Have a bigger savings account 3) Have the home equity line paid off 4) Be managing people or have advanced my career in some other way
R/R/CS: ive got a dinner meeting tonight. Still trying to decide if I will have wine or not.
Also so on the SS train. Woke up today with REALLY sore boobs for the first time ever. Husband was asleep with his arm across my chest and it was awful. Now they feel heavy but otherwise ok.
CS/Q: woke up today with a little temp drop today. Wah.

Testing: Oh you know...torture
R/R/CS: Finally tomorrow morning I can go to the RE to get a blood pregnancy test and get the next cycle going. There's about 10% of me that's like....take a test tomorrow morning, why not? But I don't want to see another BFN, I'd rather hear it from the nurse as a gateway to start the next cycle. DH and I were talking about next steps last night. I keep saying if cycle 3 on Letrozole +Trigger + IUI doesn't work, then I want to meet with the doctor to discuss next steps. I kept saying that the doctor told us Letrozole and IUI usually works within the first 3-4 cycles if it's going to work. And I told DH I felt like if by #3 it didn't work, it wasn't going too. But he kindly reminded me that our first medicated cycle was a complete shit show, and that maybe we shouldn't consider the first medicated cycle as a true cycle. This cycle was truly the first cycle where "all the stars aligned". Good sperm count, good fat eggs and healthy lining, good progesterone levels. It made me seriously consider a fourth cycle if it comes to that. Thanks for keeping me in check DH. (Though I'll still want to talk to the doctor if #3 fails lol).
CS/Q:
GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years? Family, Our own house, maybe go back to school
R/R/CS: eta- I forgot this section- hmmm... I'm trying to be healthier this week after this weekends brownie depression after my bfn. I'm really feeling better already!
CS/Q: im not sure if I should be here or on the benched... I'm 99% sure I'm out, and we won't be trying again for awhile
GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years? This is a tough question... professionally speaking, I take a lot of exams for my job, so I'd like to be close to done with those. I don't think I'll be finished, but having an end on sight would be nice. I have an entrepreneurial side that I'd like to feed lol, and these exams are getting in the way! I'd like to have a baby by then of course but I don't really see that as a goal?
@Nelbetron Glad you're feeling better! And FX for you! FWIW, "Benched," means generally there is a medical reason why a doctor told you that you need to be TTA. Where as TTA can be for lots of reasons, you are choosing to avoid, or NTNP which means you are not actively "trying" but you're not preventing either.
R/R/CS: I don't usually test this early but some never-seen-before brown spotting on 8dpo and a high temp this morning prompted me. Now I'm like, chill, I got it out of my system, and waiting until Saturday (12dpo) to test again. I hate testing this early because I'm just counting, "Really, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 days until af?? Why am I doing this to myself?" haha
CS/Q: None today!
GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years? I'd like to start a family, get into and graduate from med school, and live in Paris for a month or two (maybe next summer).

Samantha - 4/5/2017
Is it bad that I really like where I am in life? I'd like to have a child or 2 obviously. But beyond that, we have a nice house in a good neighborhood close to family and friends. I like my job. Maybe my goal could be knocking some stuff off of my bucket list. I'd love to see the northern lights and visit the Scandinavian countries. Also a visit to Greece and Spain. I could make that happen in the next 5 years.
Edited because I like @KirstinH88 debt free goal! In 5 years DH says he should have his loans paid off. That would be AMAZING!!

Really?
To hopefully have a take home baby. Also get both DH and I's credit score in a excellent range. Be debt free. And hopefully either take over the house we are in, or buy a house. A new career would be totes awesome as well.

GTKY: What goals do you have for the next 5 years? I will jump on the "get debt-free" bandwagon.

Month/Cycle: 14/15
In May 2017 I will have worked for the school district for 5 years and will qualify for a set amount of money from the state for loan repayment. At this point, I think it will be enough to completely pay off my school loans, which will be awesome!
DH and I are also trying to pay our house off before I'm 35. That is actually 6 years but that's close enough for me. Of course, we would also like to have a couple kids in the next 5 years as well.
Edited because The Bump ate my post! GRRR.

Month/Cycle: 7/6
Rant: I think I have given up on temping (sort of) for TWW. Still going to temp but not at the same time unless it works out that way. I figure if I am KU, I'm KU and I can't worry too much about what my temps are doing. The reason for this is I have been having trouble sleeping and also I set my FF time for later this cycle but I want to get back into going to the gym in the morning which requires an earlier wake up time.
Month/Cycle: 10/10
1. Purchase a house
2. Pay down our debt
3. Not go into further debt with our wedding planning
4. Become a soccer mom somehow with my work schedule
5. Develop a savings! because we currently have none.
ETA: question

Obviously to have our rainbow baby (maybe even 2!). To be 100% debt free. To have my current house turned into a rental property and be living in our forever home! The ones of those that I can control are coming along nicely so far.
