  • All. The. Fruit. I have been loving La Croix orange and any/all fruit right out of the fridge, extra cold! So refreshing especially when it's miserably hot outside.

  • Anything spicy or salty which is weird because with my first I couldn't tolerate spice and only wanted sweet.

    @lindsey2017 I was so addicted to La Croix with my first pregnancy! Yum.

  • SPICE! This week, I'm loving my deep dish pizza with lots of grated pepper on my pepperoni. And a few days ago, I cooked a Blue Apron meal of spiced shrimp and pearl couscous . DH couldn't handle the heat (he's kind of a baby to begin with :kissing_heart:). However, I loved it. I'm not eating jalapeño peppers by the handful, but I definitely like a kick to my taste buds lately it seems.
  • Fiber One bars!  After my mishap with constipation...I'm not going back there.  I feel like 80 years old eating these things!

  • I'm craving everything sweet but resisting and eating fruit. oooo now I want a salad with Ceasar dressing! I did eat half the container of humus yesterday .... oops, it was just so good!

  • Not craving anything in particular . Just hungry more often.  
    I used to love sweet food,  but I've noticed it hasn't settled well lately ...

    All I want is mayonnaise. Every time I open the fridge, I seriously consider just having a mayo sandwich. Considering I hated mayo and never ate it at all pre-this pregnancy, I'm pretty much WTF???

    Otherwise, I'm eating pretty normally.

  • I told myself I was going to try and be healthier This time around.  Only a few days in and what did we have for lunch?? McDonald's chicken nuggets.  Bad bad choices lol. 
  • @KellyT22 same for me with salty/spicy! I'm craving flavorful/zesty meals, like heavy garlic, etc.  Saturday night, I was home and solo since hubs was hanging with neighbor guys and DD1 was sleeping, I ordered myself pizza and garlic knots because I was craving them so bad, and ate almost all of them LOL and yesterday I ordered a breakfast that came smothered in hot sauce...totally different than my last pregnancy!

  • I want to eat literally everything that is chocolate. It's things like this that make it hard to keep pregnancy a secret - "Oh you mean hiding a bulk box of Hershey's chocolate in my desk isn't a normal thing to do?" 

    That, combined with the fact that I have to pee every 10 minutes is surely going to tip someone off lol
  • @meq124 While I hope to get some MS so I know things are going well, I also hope we don't have to do anything drastic like postpone Blue Apron. :grimace: We don't do it every single week, but it would suck to know I'd normally be all over their menu and suddenly just not be feeling it. 
  • @dubcompanion DH and I were talking about this yesterday.  We do Blue Apron every week.  My food aversions have become so severe and inconsistent that I'm afraid I'm not going to want to eat it!

    @PattersRN No kidding, and you only have until the day after a shipment comes to cancel next week's shipment. Who knows what I'll want to eat/be capable of eating in 6 days time?!
  • Grilled chicken and red potatoes and green beans. 
  • All I want is salad. The only thing that isn't making me sick is salad and pretzels and ginger candy.

    I don't understand it, but I'll take it!

    @dubcompanion for my first pregnancy I had to stop doing it! There was an Asian dish that had some sort of fish sauce that I had to leave the room because just the smell was making me almost throw up. We had to throw the whole dish away and go out to eat, and after that I figured it wasn't worth risking wasting the money. I had just resigned up for it right before finding out I was pregnant again. Hopefully it goes better this time!! I hate grocery shopping enough to risk it for now

  • @meq124 Yeah, postponing or cancelling Blue Apron will only happen if my food options are extremely limited!
  • I may or may not have just eaten a whole sleeve of vanilla-flavored graham crackers.

    While I'm neither on the aversion nor the craving train yet, I did make myself a nice half bagel this morning. I rarely buy bagels so this little cinnamon raisin wonder was something I was looking forward to. I got it all cream cheesed up and then I realized that spreadable cheese probably qualifies as soft cheese. So I grudgingly gave it to H to eat. Moments after he polished it off, I actually thought to check the Ovia app (it's the best one I've found for a foods and medications list, available offline so you can look stuff up even when you might have bad reception). Yeah. Cream cheese is fine. I totally could have eaten my bagel.

    @CaseyMP27 - your slices are impressively uniform! 

    I'm not food averse yet, but definitely don't have the appetite I normally do. I do think I might be addicted to venti caramel light frappucino with light ice and no frappacino syrup from Starbucks. Basically, it's a 190 calorie caramel milkshake.

  • I'm so jealous you guys have a desire to eat at all. The MS hit over the weekend and I've already lost two pounds because I just can't bring myself to consume anything but ginger tea and crackers. Blech.

  • I got all excited to make myself a roast beef sandwich this morning with horseradish and jalapenos (among other things). Normally I like the spice but either pregnant me disagrees or I am just a weak bish today. Now I just want a big box of saltines and some really cold water.

    Oh yeah, this was me with DS. Cucumber EVERYTHING. I had cucumbers for breakfast, cucumber sandwiches for lunch, cucumber salad for supper, cucumbers before bed. Then it became an equal obsession with tomatoes, but only ones from the garden.

  • Forced myself to eat a salad yesterday. Booo. I am actually just glad I have an appetite at all. I actually eat too much. With last baby I couldn't eat anything. Hard to believe I'm pregnant because my symptoms are almost non existent. 
  • Nothing too crazy...but the past 2 days I'm obsessed with Rosemary Triscuits with sharp cheddar cheese slices and a handful of grapes....so far that's pretty healthy, but I did shove a Twix bar in my mouth after grocery shopping...in the car before the hubby got there lol!

    I CRAVED hambrger starting about 12 weeks last time. Today I am eating all the salt!!
