No pictures but I'm definitely pretending I don't hear LO awake on the baby monitor again. He just woke up from his longest nap of the day - a whopping 30 mins. And that's only bc I held him for 20 of those. The only thing I've managed to do today is pump, feed the baby, and rock him to sleep. Oh and he likes when I do squats. At least I'll have nice legs when I go back to work. :|
Lil girl likes squats too. Sometimes I spice it up and switch to lunges.

  • LO sleeps like a baby in the carrier when I work out... No excuse not to work out... Which I'm not sure I approve of yet LOL
  • Those lashes! @bshurdy
  • ...sadly staring at my dinner while LO refuses to let me even think of moving towards the fork

  • Picking that cradle cap while brother plays baseball- so gross but so weirdly satisfying!
I used to do this with Nora when she was nursing! I loved picking at her scalp and would see all kinds of flakes when I stood up but it made me feel better to get it off of her head!

I got both boys in bed by 8:15, then ate my dinner (no sense in trying to eat while nursing and feeding a toddler who is nearing sleepy-tantrum territory), finished chores, and took a shower. DH is still working on grad school stuff/playing video games. I'm just sitting in the livingroom with the lights off and my feet up basking in this rarity known as free time. I usually don't go to bed for another 30 minutes...what do I do with my time? This is weird.
I'm also sitting in the dark living room enjoying my freedom!
  • And both boys are up. DH came upstairs and turned on lights and was talking loudly about his assignment. How does he still not internalize that turning on lights and being noisy will wake little ones?

Time for the "you wake 'em you take 'em" rule?

Ha! That's what my mom called it when we would wake one of the babies too! We had to get them back to sleep if we woke them up. Also, if we said an inappropriate word around them we had to explain what it meant  :o

    If only!
  • Waiting for DH to bring another load of stuff from the old house to the new and feeling only a little guilty that I am not helping with the move but bumping and eating my weights worth of cheese and crackers.  But hey- I just finished a 10
hour work day so I don't feel that guilty.
