Rants/Raves/Questions? Here's my rave - I ordered baby girl's name to be hung over her crib from Etsy and got it in the mail this weekend. It turned out so cute!!! I've bought a lot of stuff for her room, but haven't put anything together. Can't wait to see what everything looks like when it's done!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? My varicose veins are getting so bad!!! I've always had them, but they are so much worse now...ugh...
GTKY: How was your Fourth of July? Did you do anything fun and festive? We had a great weekend. Lots of grilling and time spent with my DH & DS. I took my son to the spray park on Sunday, then we went to a BBQ that night. Stayed up to watch some fireworks. Yesterday went to a party at my sister's house and all the kids played on the slip-n-slide. My little guy played for so long that his lips started turning blue! Got him dressed and warmed up, then we lit some fireworks. We live outside city limits so the fireworks show in our neighborhood is pretty impressive!

Nothing until the 29th and then it's just a normal check up. Hoping for no preterm labour in the coming few weeks like I've had with my other two, and that will be the next time I have to go.

I'm starting to feel the third trimester exhaustion already. I've been lucky with an awesome second trimester so I know I'll probably pay for it at some point. I'm already obsessing about where baby is positioned. I can't ever figure it out it, I know it's early. I am really hoping he is head down unlike my second so I can try for a VBAC, hence my obsession.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
Anything sweet or salty, which is not going to be great for my post partum weight loss journey I'm sure.
GTKY: How was your Fourth of July? Did you do anything fun and festive?
We have July 1st (Canada) and we went camping. It was nice to get away for a few days, and cell service was really crappy so it felt like we really got a break.

Upcoming appointments? Inching closer and closer to my glucose test on July 15th.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Edited to add: All of my apps are telling me that she's starting to move into birth position. Is there anything I can do to make it more likely that she goes head down? Seems like a stupid question, but I really, really don't want a C-section!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I've got some serious hip pain going on today, so that's no fun.
GTKY: How was your Fourth of July? Did you do anything fun and festive? We spent most of the day in the pool at my parent's house. Then around 6, we took the pontoon boat out of the bay to watch our city's largest fireworks display. It was a great day!
I'm trying not to stress out about it too much, but if there were exercises I could be doing to encourage a head down position, I would certainly try it!

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm with you guys on the birth position thing! I mostly feel the kicks in my cervix, so I am assuming he is still breech. Hopefully this kid shifts soon!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? As of this week, I am just about back to my weight I was when I found out I was pregnant (I lost 10-12 pounds from this awesome morning sickness.) so I feel like that's a milestone. I'm plus sized to start so it wasn't a real concern but it wasn't fun! Now that I'm keeping more food down, I need to start trying to eat actual nutritious items rather than just carbs. I haven't eaten a meal that didn't primarily consist of bread, pasta or potatoes in too long.
GTKY: How was your Fourth of July? Did you do anything fun and festive? I actually didn't even leave the house! H was working the whole weekend and my best friend just moved 4 hours away last month, so I was being a little pouty. I downloaded a book and made myself potato salad for dinner so it felt a little barbecue-esque haha

These VitaFusion prenatal gummy vitamins have been a lifesaver keeping my hemorrhoids at bay for as long as they have.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
I just feel swollen all over like my entire body is retaining water. Insomnia and hemorrhoids are my gripe, couldn't avoid them forever thougg unfortunately. Cravings- I have very specific cravings lately, certain items and I can vividly imagine every little detail of the craved item. It is absolute torture when I can't have them! Aversions- no new aversions.

Meh. I'm a little disappointed because FI fell asleep early last night and wouldn't get back up, but DS and I made the best of the situation and lit some fireworks together anyway

pretty good. Went to my uncles for a ban and late birthday party for me and my cousin. Just hanging out with family unfortunately it was raining so we couldn't swim in my uncles pool.

GTKY: How was your Fourth of July? Did you do anything fun and festive? Went to a baseball game, a Modest Mouse concert, and had a fun day at a cabin on a lake all in 3 days time. I am definitely taking advantage of the second tri feel goods

On Monday I have an appointment with a new therapist to deal with all the anxiety that's been hitting me lately. The following Monday is an appointment with my OB for my Rhogam shot. Biweekly after that! On the plus side, my doc recently came back from maternity leave and she now works Mondays (my day off)! Yay!
Rants/Raves/Questions?
Still having zero luck with figuring out childcare. I've been working on it since 8 weeks and still nothing is working out. I'm just holding out hope that lots of things can change with waitlists and spots opening up in a few months, because right now we're screwed. I'm looking at in homes too, but I'll admit I'm being super picky and judgmental. If you sound completely uninterested on the phone, I'm over it.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
The appetite is massive lately! I also have a major sweet tooth but trying to cut down on sugar because it causes me to crash and get tired and irritable, and gives me RLS at night. The snoogle is still helping, but my sleep has been pretty interrupted lately.

DH and I just went to the pool at our gym. It was pretty empty and very relaxing to spend the afternoon rotating between pool, hot tub (dipping my feet in front of the jets), and laying out reading. No fireworks or anything, my poor pup was majorly scared of the noise!
