@Serpica I didn't get any when I was pregnant with DD or when I was BFing, because I didn't get my cycle, which typically seems like the trigger. When I am not pregnant, I take a vitex/chasteberry supplement every day which does help decrease the migraines but it still happens, I just don't find myself needing to rely on my rx that much.
I hope you get some relief soon from your headaches....hopefully after you get through this period and your hormones start to even out it will help. Feel better!
I just was woken up twice by a pain in my lower right uterus that can best be described as pulling of a muscle. I don't know if theyre just intense braxton hicks or if I'm unknowingly doing sit ups while I sleep... Doctors appt in the am so I'll ask her, too.
I've been nauseous every morning after breakfast for the past 2 weeks or so. But only on the weekdays, not the weekends. I realized that on the weekdays I always have yogurt for breakfast (which I've been doing with no problem FOREVER) and on weekends I have eggs. This morning I had eggs. No nausea! So apparently now my stomach can't handle yogurt in the morning.. but milk is OK! So weird, I have never heard of that. But at least I know now!
The baby's movements have decreased a lot so in headed in for a NST. I have to bring my toddler with me because I couldn't find anyone to watch him. Hoping it's not a big deal
@AB34 I had this just the other day hoping your LO wakes up more at the scan mine did. Have you been having any contractions ? They mentioned that sometimes it makes the baby sleepy the following day to me
@kellz14@Backbypopulardemand@stellaluna14@Kellyj103 thanks ladies! He of course moved around a bunch when I got there. No contractions at all (which made me a little disappointed!) hopefully he comes out soon and I won't be paranoid anymore!
@AB34 I've noticed a decrease the last few days as well. Kind of freaked my out but my doctor just assured me we were running out of room. It's frustrating! But every time I thought of calling in I'd get a really good kick. I'm tired of being paranoid too. At least an outside baby I can check on easier. Glad things went well!
@AB34 I second what @samantha1206. I have had so much decreased movement the last few weeks that I've gone into triage twice but the doc and nurses just keep telling me they are running out of room so movements are smaller. It definitely doesn't help that they tell you to count so many movements in a time span and then tell you it's normal when it doesn't happen. Hope he moves more so you can get by this last stretch without being too paranoid.
@AB34 I haven't had many contractions either but I hear for some people they don't happen until true labor. Fingers crossed our little ones make their appearance soon!
I keep getting really sharp pain in my vagina and tailbone area but it doesn't last long but I can't pee when it happens and it takes my breath away. I'm guessing it's her being super low but anyone else have this?
too many peops for me to track and tag, but I had a conversation with my dr. Re decreased movement and my frustration with kick counting due to smaller movements. She told me to track what's normal now (because I saw LO moving in a u/s yet didn't feel more than half of it) and just call in if the new norm decreased. No more kick counts has been less scary than unsuccessful kick counts and trips to L&D. She moves subtly throughout the day and night and I roll with that. I'm with the ones who say they'll be relieved to have a baby on their outside because then we'll see our LOs are doing good, not just guess by movement! Cheers y'all we can do this!

I was told that was the lightening crotch. I've had it a few times but I unfortunately don't think it means progression of anything
Lightening crotch can help with dilation. My doc days contractions do most dilation but in the early stages the pressure of baby's head and Mom's movements can aid that along as well
@Backbypopulardemand I've had this for probably two weeks on and off. Doc just said it was part of the deal. I find sitting on a birthing ball helps a bit. While no major progression on my end, I have dilated a cm, so hopefully it's helping you dilate some too!
Thanks everyone! I don't see how anyone can come here and say people aren't supportive! @Backbypopulardemand I sure hope your LO comes soon! I've been thinking about you!
@Backbypopulardemand That has been happening to me for a few weeks now, midwife said it is just the baby sitting lower on my cervix. The pain stops me in my tracks. It happened today when I was driving (for some reason sitting makes the pain a lot worse, it feels better when I'm standing) but it was a very painful drive home for a few minutes.
@AB34 I'm so glad that your little one cooperated and started moving around again. I can only imagine how scary that must have been. Hopefully he continues to be cooperative until his arrival!
So I don't normally check this thread (it's a LOT to keep up with) but I came to make sure @AB34 checked out ok! So scary! I'm so happy everything is ok
Still 1 cm...not totally bummed because I am only 37+2 just getting anxious and hoping she comes by herself before an induction. I am not going to 41 this time though. I still have set up my classroom and make sure everything I can possibly do with school is done before she comes.
I'm seeing my midwife tomorrow, I will be 39w on the dot, and this will be my first cervix check. I've been taking evening primrose oil since 35w, really hoping that it has been doing something. Between that and feeling like LO is sitting on my cervix I'm hoping something is moving along. I will have to bring my 6 year old with me to the appointment, and I hate to do it, but she's allowed time on YouTube Kids while I'm getting checked out. I just need her distracted (and not distracting me for a few minutes).

I've been doing that today actually. Walking isn't fun either. Hopefully it means progress.

The BH contractions are increasing in frequency. Though sometimes I think I'm having one and just have to poop. Pregnancy is a finicky thing.
