R/R: Today is my Friday!! Tmrw is DS 4th birthday. We are going to take him to the fair and ride all the rides and eat all the fried foods. I'm so excited.
I'm hoping I O sooner rather than later because our timing would be impeccable! In the last 8 days, we have HIO 8 times!
CS/Q: Nothing today...yet.
GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? Feel free to post recipes!!
Chili! I have a crockpot recipe that uses beef and chorizo. It's spicy and delicious. I know it's not really chili weather, but I've been craving it for weeks!
WAYDTGKU: Temping, CM, CP, OPKs, PNV, Baby Aspirin, HIO EOD during FW
R/R: OPKs start tomorrow. Just realized this weekend is the beginning of my FW and I have to spend it out of town for a wedding shower and baby shower. Hopefully we can still aim for early morning Saturday or late night Sunday. DH has been forewarned. Plus, I'm spending Saturday night at the ILs and trying to stealthily use my OPKs Sunday morning and stash the evidence may prove difficult. Such is the TTC life.
CS/Q: None at the moment.
GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? Feel free to post recipes!! Probably the leftover breaded pork loin with mashed potatoes and corn. No recipe unfortunately. DH does all the cooking. I just eat.
@AliciaGoose literally just reading the word "enchiladas" made my mouth water!
Month/Cycle: 10/5
CD: 6
WAYDTGKU: Femara (CD 4-8), Metformin, PNV, temping, sex
R/R: I'm too excited for this cycle. I feel BSC and it's only the first half of my cycle. I might go nuts in the TWW... but it will be my first one ever in the last 10 months so I think it's okay... right?
Q/CS: When should I start the OPKs if I finish my Femara dose on Saturday afternoon?
GTKY: Woof. Good question. I just went grocery shopping yesterday but I didn't plan a dinner yet. It will probably be something lame like buffalo chicken wraps and quinoa.... unless I read a better one on here!
R/R: While I appreciate that my husband is excited to have a baby, he made the comment that he really hopes we get pregnant this month because "it happened right away for all of our friends". While it is true that we know multiple couples that did get pregnant on their first try, it just made me feel a TON of pressure.
GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? Feel free to post recipes!!
Grilled BBQ chicken thighs and veggies! One of my favorite summer go-to meals that requires little effort and little clean up. Win win!
@mokay19 Buffalo chicken wraps doesn't sound boring at all, they sound delicious! @nwegman7878 I'm so jealous your husband cooks. Mine barely knows where the kitchen is located.
<b>Month/Cycle</b>: 8th month / 9th cycle (or really 9th month/10th cycle, I realized yesterday since our last NTNP cycle actually had decent -1,O timing... :/)
<b>CD</b>: 14
<b>WAYDTGKU</b>: <span>Temping, Charting on paper and with FF, CM with Creighton method, CBAdv OPK's, PNV's, DHA, 200mg B6, 2000 iu Vitamin D, Selenium, Zinc, Co-Q10, Fertilitea CD1-16, 3rd cycle of FertileCM, 2nd cycle of Ovaboost, Mucinex for CD6-16, Preseed and HIO during FW, second cycle of 100mg oral Progesterone 3-12DPO …and praying.</span>
<b>R/R</b>: You guys, I am starving! And the scale is up like ridiculous this morning... trying to tone it down a bit till lunch, but I also am running out of practically everything all at once, so I am kind of going to have to improvise today, instead of my normal go-to big lunch salad. :P
<b>CS/Q</b>: No questions really, but curious to see how long it takes FF to give me a coverline... This whole vertical predicted O thing from yesterday is just weirding me out. But apparently I'm due March 30th, 2017. (cue the BSC) <img title="Image: https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/qi/n29gdtvq9iz4.jpg" alt="" src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/qi/n29gdtvq9iz4.jpg">
<b>GTKY:</b> As per R/R I have absolutely no idea because I'm running out of everything. But I do have some frozen chicken breast strips, so one of our go-to things (but better really for a weekend), are grilled chicken nachos layered with refried beans, cheese, onion and jalapenos (but the last two times we did it with ground beef and DH cried because we don't have any more black olives!) I also have leftover mashed potatoes I've been meaning to use, so I might just do an easy chicken/frozen veggie mixup with mashed potatoes on the side for DH. Unless I actually get out to the store, ...or you ladies help me come up with something better!!! :D
R/R: How can I be this exhausted after a shortened week? Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday! Hubs has off today and there are big plans to play Yahtzee tonight
CS/Q: Nope, but love that this has been added!
GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? Feel free to post recipes!!
Hubs does the cooking (lucky girl over here), however golf is on his agenda this morning (any wives of obsessed golfers, I feel your pain) which normally zaps him of any urge to cook. When I lived on my own I survived on cereal, toasted bagels, and the occasional bowl of mac and cheese, both of which we have in the house. So we're good to go!
@KirstinH88 - Yay for spicy!! Have so much fun for DS bday!!! @AliciaGoose - Booo for AF. Sorry that witch cut in to your gym time. May your shopping spree be as heart racing as a good work out!
Friday Eve.... can you feel the.....
Month/Cycle: 29 / 23
CD: 42
WAYDTGKU: Going with the flow.
R/R: Did not get the job. Meh. Oh well. And boss was here like right after I got in this morning. Yay. Not.
I am in one of those...."MEH" moods. I am not really sure what I am feeling. Just trying to get through the day and go home, wrap up and some blankets and play some Destiny all evening.
CS/Q: I decided to play with my chart a little bit ago. I had a couple temps in my notes that I wanted to see what would happen. I had temped much earlier than usual those days and they were stunningly low. So I went back to sleep and temped at a normal time and they were higher. So I dunno what to do. I have seen on here to use the lower first temp so I figured I would give it a go. Not really sure if that is a question... or a stalk.. maybe this should go under rant? LOL
GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? Feel free to post recipes!! OOOOOO DH is making a turkey tenderloin in the crock pot. I am unsure of all the sides he will prep with it. But he is an incredible cook so I know it will all be delish!!
@KirstinH88 OMG that has been us too with the cooking winter meals, like I think I made chicken pot pie and chicken soup/stew with mashed potatoes and mixed veggies some time around the holiday weekend and we are both like, "cos this is the perfect comfort meal for mid February ... to make in JULY!!!" lol The house got so freaking hot, but I was just making stuff I had on hand lol HBD to your wee DS and Happy Friday to you! That all sounds awesome!
@AliciaGoose Yassss. Gym vs. shopping jeez I wonder lol ;)
@nwegman7878 I have faith in you guys! YOU CAN DO EEET! <img src="https://img.pandawhale.com/post-25179-you-can-do-it-gif-serious-Rob-rNbk.gif" alt=""> Plus, I agree with @hartmich that is awesome that your DH does all the cooking!
@mokay19 It's funny how somebody else's "boring" go-to's could be so fun for someone else! lol Sorry I don't know about the OPKs in reference to the Femara... :/
ETA BELOW @GrabberBlue2010 I'm sorry about the job... :P At least it sound like you have a nice evening at home to look forward to!
@berg We are just trying to get into golfing now, and we each have a set of clubs, so I'm going to be going with him a lot of the time! So far we've really just done the driving range, so not entirely sure what we are getting ourselves into, but it really that much of a workout though, like he comes home exhausted? I feel like you're basically just walking around for an hour or two...?
R/R: Sorry I've been MIA! Crazy work week last week and then the holiday weekend, combined with that early WTO time when there's not really much going on got the best of me. I'm back though!
CS/Q: None
GTKY: I have absolutely no idea but hoping to get some suggestions from you ladies. Otherwise it might just be leftover cajun chicken pasta (unfortunately, DH made it so I have no idea of the recipe, but it was amazing) chock full of veggies. He even used the first yellow squash from our garden!
@AliciaGoose How do you guys like Blue Apron? I'm debating trying it or Hello Fresh out but can't decide whether it is worth it.
R/R: I'm sad. AF came out of NOWHERE yesterday. Cramps are terrible and I'm dying. I also had a dream last night that I had a BFP despite AF and called everyone and told them. Then I looked at the test again and it was obviously negative so I had to call everyone back and tell them I wasn't pregnant. My husband cried in my dream and I woke up with a very wet pillow.
CS/Q: Do you typically wait for AF to leave to start temping or do you get that party started ASAP?
GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? Feel free to post recipes!! DH is making lamb ribs and rice. I wish I could post a recipe but he's making it the way his mom used to make it (Indian style) and I can't pronounce half of the spices.
R/R: It’s
Friday eve and one of my favorite coworkers is getting married this weekend so
I’m looking forward to the wedding.
Trying to accentuate the positive today, ladies. CS/Q: FF
shows my fertile week starting Tuesday which seems about right. This is my first month with OPKs (FR OPKs,
pink dye – didn’t get any wondfos from amazon this time). When should I
realistically start using them? I feel
so elementary asking this but hey I have questions.
GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? Feel free
to post recipes!! There’s a wine
store/bar/restaurant we can walk to – they have wood fired gourmet pizzas and a
$5 corkage fee for whatever bottles you want from the store. I’m thinking that. It’s too hot to turn on my stove or oven!

clover28 I hit double digits in months this cycle as well. sigh. I'm so sorry ab the dreams! It's not fun to go thru that in your dreams too! Hugs to you!
@berg I think short weeks are the worst. I think it's because your routine is disturbed. @GrabberBlue2010 Sorry about the job. Also, I always use my first temp of the night provided I got three hours of sleep, even if it's 3 am. I used to re-temp at my normal time when that happened but now I don't bother and then I don't have to worry about which temp to use. @momtoleo I tried HelloFresh a while back. I got 4 boxes from them I think. I thought their food was decent but it was just too expensive for me to justify continuing. Month/ Cycle: 14/15

WAYDTGKU: Temping, CM, Sex, Losing Weight, Vitex
R/R: I signed up for FF Premium yesterday, for a year, so I'm really hoping that tempts fate.
CS/Q: **Question for ladies with FF Premium**! I'm a little overwhelmed by all the new options. I've explored it a little bit, but what are your favorite premium options on FF that I should play with?
GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? Feel free to post recipes! We are a part of a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) so we get tons of veggies from that every week plus we garden, so all of my meals recently have been veg based and I still can't keep up. Yesterday we had Eggplant Parmesan, and I think today we will have either Zucchini and Carrot Fritters with Tzatziki sauce or Chinese Eggplant with garlic sauce.

mokay19 I'm not too familiar with Femara but with Clomid, I took it days 5-9 and OPKs went positive CD16 which was late for me. I personally start with Wondfos around CD 10 regardless..
hartmich I'm sorry that it feels like DH is putting pressure on you. Men aren't the best at articulating their thoughts in the most sensitive way. And your chart is looking good. Hopefully they level out well before O.
BusinessWife I have a love/hate relationship with FF giving me a vert line early, especially when it moves it later on.
GrabberBlue2010 I'm sorry about the job. Hopefully another great opportunity comes up for you. Also, your chart makes me sad. This looks like a really long cycle for you and unfortunately I'm not able to get a whole lot of info since the fertility signs are so sporatic. Hopefully you body gets its shit together soon. Give this to your uterus from me:
clover28 I used to temp all of the time but temping was upping my anxiety and didn't mean a whole lot when determining O. So now I start after AF.
@GrabberBlue2010 ugh, IKR? If only pretty charts = babies I'd have a dozen at least by now! Lol. ((Hugs))
Eta **TW** I don't know if it makes you feel any better, but I feel like a semi-recent BFP she shared her chart and it was a pretty long, confusing cycle, but that's how she got her surprise BFP, bc she thought she was just longshot early testing and it turned out her O-date was really 3-4 days earler than where FF put her CH! Eeep!! Does anyone remember who I'm talking about?
@BusinessWife I've golfed some. Growing up my parents would take me. I like the range. I'll go from time to time. When we're on vacation I normally go as a ride along. My issue is I don't really want to spend 3-4 hours playing golf. If it were like an hour, maybe two, I'd be down. But it's just not how I want to hang. He doesn't even walk he gets a cart! So I don't necessarily know how great of a work out it is. As far as I can tell it isn't really physically strenuous. But more of a mentally exhausting game. The tiniest change in your grip or swing can really better or worsen your game. I'm sure that gets annoying. Also today the heat is intense here in Jersey. So I'm sure he'll come back a puddle.
WAYDTGKU: Temping and will start OPKs tomorrow. Hopefully we start HIO soon here.
R/R: Rave: DH made me coffee this morning and it was waiting for me when I woke up. Love surprise coffee! Also, just 2 more days of work before our holidays begin, but whose really counting? Rant: Work has been really crazy and stressful lately. It is seriously taking away from my bumping.
Q/CS: I got nothing.
GTKY: Last night I made tacos for dinner and I work late tonight, so we will probably just be having left overs. Yum!
@KirstinH88 That sounds like a pretty kick ass birthday for your DS! Have lots of fun and good luck with the awesome timing! @AliciaGoose Party! @GrabberBlue2010 Booo! Sorry to hear that you didn't get the job. Keep trucking away, there is always next time! @clover28 Sorry to hear that AF hit so hard, damn witch. I am in the team of not temping during AF, personally, I just don't see the point and like to take some time off. I proceed once it is completely gone. @ahrains I love your positive bunny post! So cute and definitely helpful.
@clover28 I don't temp during AF if there's a tampon involved. Usually it's just the first couple of mornings, and I O late so I have plenty of temps to get a good sampling for FF.
@ahrains Pizza and BYOB sounds so good, my mouth just filled with saliva.
Month/Cycle: Let's just call it 1/1 since everything before this was a non-starter because of fibroids.
CD: 6
WAYDTGKU: Typical things. When you all say "PNV" I think "penis in vagina" bc that's what we call it. Which I am also doing.
R/R: WTO takes soooo long. So I'm drinking more to savor alcohol while I can. I've discovered Leinenkugel's Grapefruit Shandy, which is so refreshing when I walk in the door on these insanely hot days!
CS/Q: Not yet. Boring times.
GTKY:What's for dinner tonight? Feel free to post recipes!! I'm thinking H can make grilled chicken thighs with buffalo sauce because I hate cooking. And CostCo sells this great quinoa/brown rice/garlic blend that takes 90 seconds to cook in the microwave. I'm all about getting food in my mouth as soon as I can when I get home.

R/R: Fuck my cramps right now. Also my temp still hasn't gone below coverline. Weird.
CS/Q: nothing today! But I'm really liking this change.
GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? Feel free to post recipes!! So some of you may not know this about me - but I do not cook. I do not bake. I do not grill. H does all that stuff - which means I have no idea what I will be eating for dinner every night, haha. Something delicious! Last night was chicken, spinach, and pasta made from black beans instead of wheat.
WAYDTGKU: HIO I do not even know how we are keeping it up at this point.
R/R: All the rage. I am considering emailing my doc on Monday if I don't O. She recommended seeing an RE if we didn't get KU in six months. I saw her in January when we were NTNP. Started actively trying in April. Anyone else over 30 get that recommendation? No history of any medical issues for either of us.
CS/Q: Nah just more of the same going on.
GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? Feel free to post recipes!! No recipe but there is a round roast in the fridge. I gave DH instructions to make it with some rosemary from the back yard, wine, garlic etc. Hopefully, that turns out delish. @ahrains you're right though.. I much rather walk somewhere instead of heating up the house! Wine and pizza are my fav (and cure all for any bad day).
@GrabberBlue2010 Sorry about the job! Hope a new opportunity comes your way soon! @KirstenH88 I love anything that involves crock pot cooking. Just turn up the AC while you are eating your chili! Have fun this weekend!! @AliciaGoose I like where your head is at! Nothing like retail therapy. @nwegman7878 I have a shower this weekend too.. and I am in the wedding so we are spending a lot of the weekend prepping meh @hartmich Yess for grilling... don't you just love the no clean up? @BusinessWife Come onn CH! @berg Love yahtzee... we actually got something called yardzee which is oversized dice that you put into a bucket and throw it on the lawn. We played in teams this past weekend and it was a ton of fun! @clover28 Hoping those AF symptoms go away soon! @MandyBeeSLP I am so interested in CSAs... do you find that you have to get creative with recipes based on what you get? @PepperAT Surprise coffee is the absolute best especially if you are normally the first one up like me.
WAYDTGKU:PNV, preseed (new thing!), green tea and RRL
R/R: not much today. Just going with the flow.
CS/Q: suspected my temp to rise today and it didn't, which is distressing me. My +OPK was on evening of CD20 so maybe it's just happening today. I just hope it's happening!

lot of fun – especially the fried fair food.
@AliciaGoose How do you like Blue Apron? Is it just really

@GrabberBlue2010 Bummer about the job. My chart is sprinkled

@clover28 Aww what a rough dream! Hope you feel better soon

@ahrains I started using my OPKs a few days before I thought

@Saralee797 I really like my CSA. I have had to be a little creative to use up the veg before it spoils. We have been getting 1-2 cucumbers every week and we just don't eat them that much. So I learned to make Tzatziki sauce, and I've had cucumber sandwiches and I've got a recipe for watermelon salsa that uses cucumber that I'm going to try this week. Our CSA also has a newsletter that includes a couple recipes for things we get that week which is helpful.
@TheJerilu That gif is awesome. I really want some chocolate now.

Ive had other cycles with 3x during FW that have good timing (ex -3, -2, O is good not high) , and cycles with 1x are good as well. I'm sure FF has a complicated algorithm based on all the charts in their gallery to determine good vs high cycles

CS/Q: Has anyone tried both mucinex and robitussin (not at the same time) and had success with one and not the other? Mucinex dried me up it seems and I'm wondering if that means guaifenesin doesn't work for me or if it's worth it to try a different medicine.
GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? Feel free to post recipes!! I have no clue. I may be going out with a friend. I may be eating cookie crisp in my pajamas. It's too early to say for sure.
R/R: This is going to be a long one. *TW child mentioned* I think I'm going to head back to a place of "not technically TTA but being even less aggressive with NTNP," like not even trying to make sure I hit the FW unless it just happens to occur. Back in the day, before I got pregnant with DD, I was really fit. I was devoted to pilates and yoga and ran half marathons regularly. I continued working out throughout my pregnancy (making the necessary modifications) - I literally had a pilates lesson 36 hours before I went into labor. I attribute the fact that the baby weight just fell right off to the continuation of my workouts throughout pregnancy. After DD was born, obviously, I had to not work out for 6 weeks. In the meantime, DH bought me an elliptical, so that I could work out in the house while DD napped when I was on maternity leave, which was awesome. I was able to use that almost every day once I was cleared to exercise, and I would cram in some pilates or yoga when I had the time.
And then I went back to work.
I exclusively breastfed DD for 6 months, and then started adding in solid foods, but continued giving her only breastmilk to drink for a full year. I'm just finishing up pump weaning this week, and she's transitioned to cow's milk. But the process of pumping, cleaning, and preparing bottles for her ate up two hours of my day. When you combine that with the 8 hours I had to be in the office, and the 45 minute commute each way, and the 2.5 hours at night that I actually got to spend with DD between daycare pick up and her bedtime (DH has the morning shift), you will realize that, best case scenario, I could maybe sleep 7 hours a night if DD slept through and if I was REALLY FAST about things like "eating dinner" and "getting showered and ready for work in the morning." Basically: I had zero time to myself. For a full year. Unless I wanted to not sleep, which I do not recommend to anyone.
I joined the Y that is in my office building (thank god for that convenience) last week, now that i'm no longer pumping at work, and went to a yoga class at lunch yesterday, and it was AMAZING. Like, it just felt so fantastic to actually be able to work out again, and do something just for myself. And I just so badly want to be back in reasonable shape before I get pregnant again...mostly because I know that once I have kid #2, there will be at least a year in there where I have to go through this all again, and won't be able to work out or do anything that I want to do. Don't get me wrong: I love breastfeeding, I would do it again in a heartbeat, and I do not regret having DD for even a half a second. but I just need part of my own life back for a while I think.
I was planning to go full out TTC in September, but now I may push it back a few months. On the one hand, I'm 34, and I know that every month I wait will likely make it harder to even get pregnant again, and it might be nice to just get this situation over with and accept being out of shape for a few consecutive years and then go back to the gym when I'm done having kids. but on the other hand I think I just need to give myself a break for a while.
Sorry, that was super long.
CS/Q: I won't make you guys read any more today haha
GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? Feel free to post recipes!! we're going to be out of town all next week so we're just eating whatever left overs we can find in the fridge for the next two days.

I just eat.

WAYDTGKU: same old
R/R: While I appreciate that my husband is excited to have a baby, he made the comment that he really hopes we get pregnant this month because "it happened right away for all of our friends". While it is true that we know multiple couples that did get pregnant on their first try, it just made me feel a TON of pressure.
CS/Q: Chart is hopefully starting to straighten out. Need anohter week or so of temps though to be sure. https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/61a4a7/
GTKY: What's for dinner tonight? Feel free to post recipes!!
Grilled BBQ chicken thighs and veggies! One of my favorite summer go-to meals that requires little effort and little clean up. Win win!
@mokay19 Buffalo chicken wraps doesn't sound boring at all, they sound delicious!
@nwegman7878 I'm so jealous your husband cooks. Mine barely knows where the kitchen is located.

<b>CS/Q</b>: No questions really, but curious to see how long it takes FF to give me a coverline... This whole vertical predicted O thing from yesterday is just weirding me out. But apparently I'm due March 30th, 2017. (cue the BSC)

LOL

hartmich I'm sorry that it feels like DH is putting pressure on you.
@ahrains The website says to start at CD 5 but that seems a bit early. You can check out the link here: https://www.firstresponse.com/Products/Ovulation/Daily-Digital-Ovulation-Test . I usually start about CD10 when expecting to ovulate around CD14.

I don't know if it makes you feel any better, but I feel like a semi-recent BFP she shared her chart and it was a pretty long, confusing cycle, but that's how she got her surprise BFP, bc she thought she was just longshot early testing and it turned out her O-date was really 3-4 days earler than where FF put her CH! Month/Cycle: 7 (NTNP)
CD: 11
WAYDTGKU: PNVs, temping, checking CM
