@CopperBoom86 To reiterate what everyone else has said, not only do you look pregnant but you are beautiful and glowing!
I think you're right, people say things like "Wow you don't even look pregnant" thinking it will be a compliment. I've had people say that to me and I'm just like, "Well I am." And it's hard for me because I've tried to gain weight and I've actually lost 8 pounds since my first appointment and at my last appointment, my doctor made a point to say that I need to make sure I'm eating enough. I know that's on the opposite end of you but it sucks. Not only am I eating more than enough, I haven't been sick the whole time and haven't had any aversions so theoretically, I should be huge. Instead the doctor says I'm measuring behind and I need to gain weight.
@CopperBoom86 You are most definitely rocking a serious preggo bump. In fact, I'm going to be totally honest, when you posted your pic yesterday I thought, "Wow, she's only grown in her tummy (where there's a baby making you grow!) - and look at how good her legs look in those shorts!" I remembered you saying that you had lost a lot of weight pre-pregnancy, and being a curvier girl myself, I think anyone who has carried a few extra pounds in their life is totally afraid we're going to put the baby weight on in all the wrong places. But, you, my dear, are rocking pregnancy!! You look great!!
Next time someone says, "Oh, you don't even look pregnant" say back to them, "Really? Well, you certainly do."
@LMNOBaby - You are too sweet! I definitely agree that being heavier has kind of warped my view of gaining pregnancy weight. I am terrified of gaining it in all the wrong places, and even more terrified of what people will say if I do. This is literally the only area of my life where I let what other people think affect me... I need to work on that!
It's Thursday, but I give zero eff's about that... my WTF is to my one employee who still hasn't shown up for work today and another who is apparently in office but hasn't actually started on any of his duties... we've been at work for TWO HOURS. Get your sh*t together people! I know I've mentioned before about the restructuring we'll be doing. That is like super official beginning next week and I can't wait until that happens because it means I'm not managing these people anymore, only client relationships. I. CANNOT. WAIT. Adding... I'll still interact with these folks day in and day out, but I won't actually have to deal with this kind of stuff. Who does this?!
@bnsmith85 - The worst job I ever had was associate manager at a retail store. People are freaking ridiculous. My parents raised me to do my job and do it well, no matter what it is. That's a lesson some people just didn't learn, I guess!
Lol @krzyriver I def am guilty of hitting snooze forever too, sometimes until the alarm would stop going off, but to set alarms way before he needed to be up and while his pregnant wife needs sleep, f that!
WTF to rude customers! I'm a manager in a benefits center. I don't talk to customers and clients daily but my team does. I got the rare escalation this morning and hormones were already raging. Because I wouldnt break client rules and HIPPA for this man he proceeded to wish that I get pulled over by the police and punished to the full extent of the law and that no one gives me a break my whole life. He then called me a broken record before disconnecting. I have thick skin and can take it, but this one got me. I went back to my desk like I was fine, but 30 min later I cried it out in the bathroom. Why are people so mean?!!

THIS! I ended up writing up the one guy who didn't show up until 2.5 hrs into the day. I'm remote so I had his new manager (for after the restructure) join the call in office with him and after the call, my colleague (his new manager) let me know that he was texting on his freakin' phone when we starting discussing the documentation. SERIOUSLY?! Even if you don't care about the write up you're receiving... you're in front of your new manager! Make a good impression! These people blow.my.mind.
