How far along? 32 weeks

What size is baby? a squash. My guess is she is over 4 lbs by now.

How are you feeling? big and sluggish. Also having a touch of 3rd tri anxiety.

Upcoming appointments? Tomorrow is my 32 wk check up

Rants/Raves/Questions: Any BTDT moms starting to feel anxious and like they forgot everything about newborns already? My head is telling me "it will all come back. you got this.", but my hormones are saying "HOLY SHIT I DON'T REMEMBER ANYTHING, AND HOW ON EARTH AM I GOING TO MANAGE TWO CHILDREN??!"

GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? I worked at a movie theater one summer. It was pretty chill. I met the guy that ended up being my college boyfriend, but we were only 16/17 and didn't start dating until 3 years later.

How far along? 28 weeks. Hello third trimester!!

What size is baby? Egg plant

How are you feeling? The usual hip and leg pain. This is me by mid day most days

Upcoming appointments? Friday for 1 hour GD test and regular check in

Rants/Raves/Questions: I posted about this in the symptoms thread yesterday. I was havin a sharp consistent pain 1.5 Inches to the right and above my belly button for a few hours yesterday so I called the nurse. After consulting with the OB, I was put on a low fat diet thinking that it might be my gallbladder. I'm supposed to call back today if it's still there. So far no pain so hoping it stays that way.

GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? If you don't count babysitting then it would be deli clerk at Safeway. I'm sure I didn't like it at the time especially smelling like deli meat everyday, but looking back it wasn't bad for a first job. I got to work with some amazing people!

How far along? 31 weeks

What size is baby? Asparagus...and I feel like he is definitely past the 4 lb mark now. I can actually feel his weight!

How are you feeling? I am hanging in there. Having some occasional round ligament pain and I am tired. Just feeling overall big and uncomfortable!

Upcoming appointments? Had one today, everything looks good. Next appointment is in 2 weeks and then I have an ultrasound the first week of August and then weekly appointments. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel!

Rants/Raves/Questions: Last weekend, DH and I scored last year's edition of the Baby Jogger City Select with the car seat adaptor added on for 311 bucks! They were selling this year's model for 530. Definitely one of the top 3 best deals we have ever gotten! I love how it works as a single and double stroller and can't wait to use it with both boys when baby arrives! I would totally recommend going to Buy Buy Baby if there is one near you--my patients kept telling me how they got amazing deals on floor models or last year's model of strollers there and we got lucky too!

GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? I actually worked in high school helping a nurse researcher do studies with kangaroo care in the NICU. It was a pretty intense first job to have haha...but I loved it and it really cemented my interest in nursing.

@sunshinern96 I just typed out whole response asking about the kangaroos putting their babies in pouches and if you were in Australia....BUT I just realized this might be a term for human babies SOOOO.....

How are you feeling? not the best, terrible arm pains that are keeping me up at night...trying to figure out with dr if it is bad carpal tunnel or something else. seeing orthopedic dr on monday and just trying to make it until then...

GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? a hostess at outback steakhouse in HS, I did like it...I actually liked waitressing a lot better when I got promoted to that the next summer. Wasn't the best waitress but had a lot of fun interacting with the people and all.

@AmMcc12 glad to hear that you're not in pain anymore with the low-fat diet. And, yes, to wanting a mid-day nap. That gif is too cute!
@sunshinern96 that's a really cool first job!

How far along? 28 weeks

What size is baby? Eggplant. I can't tell the difference in the fruit sizing anymore.

How are you feeling? Pretty sharp pains on the left side hip, thigh, and sciatica area. I'm gonna have to bring it up again at my next appointment. Plus I feel huge too. And there is so much growing left for him to do.

Upcoming appointments? Did my glucose test yesterday and waiting for results. Next OB appointment on Monday and we have the hospital tour on Saturday.

Rants/Raves/Questions: Have you noticed baby having more extended quiet periods and days? My little guy will be quiet for several hours then give a few kicks before settling down again for several more hours. I'm hoping that he's just running out of room.

GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? I worked with elementary school kids in an after school program. It was okay for a first job. The pay sucked (of course) and it was a bunch of high school and college kids watching over younger kids. There was some stuff that I saw and experienced that I prefer to pretend didn't happen (kids were never in danger but as a parent...yikes!) and those type of things certainly wouldn't happen at the after school program that I sent my kid to (I hope!)

@jbscmama hahaha yeah it's another term for skin-to-skin, where human moms hold their newborns on their chests...it does come from how kangaroo moms hold their babies in the pouch though!

@ajn092 I have been experiencing the same thing for the past couple of weeks. If I am worried I drink some juice and lay on my left side and that will wake him up after a few mins. This baby is so much less active overall than my first son was--he is just a chill little guy. But as long as the juice trick gets him moving then I don't worry about it. He does have a consistent awake time between 10 pm and midnight every day, which I am sure he will love to continue after he is born haha!

How far along? 30 weeks. Eek!

What size is baby? I don't care. The sizing is irrationally annoying me.

How are you feeling? I've officially reached the get out of breath while sitting stage. I mean really, I have to catch my breath while sitting?!

Upcoming appointments? Did the hospital tour last night and next appointment is next Wednesday.

Rants/Raves/Questions: Took an hour to get my daughter to go to sleep last night. Every time I climbed those damn stairs, I had to sit down. Then she woke up twice in tears. Broke my heart but at the same time, sleep, child.

GTKY: What was your first job? Did you enjoy it? Besides babysitting, I was a lifeguard for several years in high school and then college. Definitely a good time getting paid to get a tan and only had to make a save once.
