@CherryBananas I'd definitely want my H at the first spot with an ultrasound. I mean this is the first time you're ever going to see or hear your baby. That's a thing you do together if you can.
That at being said my third u/s is friyay afternoon and he's not coming to that one.
@CherryBananas my husband is coming with me on Thursday, and he plans to come to each and every ultrasound appointment. I checked with my doctor's office today, and they said that they do the ultrasound first, so my husband can skip out after that's over if he doesn't need to be there.
My H will be there for the first US. He was in AFG for DD first, then our last one ended in a loss. It's important for both of us, but everyone is different. He wouldn't want to be in the room for the pap though.
My husbands work is on the other side of town from the doc and he works at 6am. He comes to the major appts, but not these ones because he doesn't get pto in his job like I do. I try and get afternoon appts so he has the option to come and just get off early.
We have two sleeping beauties in heaven. Jack gained his wings on 09/02/2016. Kali gained her wings on 07/28/2015. They will be forever missed.
Thanks for the replies! @MonaLisaRalphio I didn't even think to check if they'd do the ultrasound first! That's such a great idea. I'll call them tomorrow and see if that's possible. It's not that I don't want him there, or that he didn't want to come. I was just wondering if it was worth him taking an hour and a half off of work to be bored out of his mind.
@CherryBananas my husband comes to all the ultrasounds. They are exciting and if something is wrong I'm not alone. They told me I was getting a pap and even had the stuff set up in the room but the OB ended up not doing it because I just had one done in September.
For my own pregnancies I went to almost everything alone other than the anatomy scan. (He missed the other ultrasounds, especially with my last pregnancy he would not have been able to be off work 1-2 days a week for all the ultrasounds and other monitoring tests) He was really excited for baby, we just didn't think it was necessary.
For this one I am alone. I actually just left, so much waitin un this office for a 3 minute appointment. Even the ultrasound was really quick, beautiful, healthy baby, great heart. I see this guy once more for the NT in 3 weeks and then I am transferred to the care of my obgyn! That also means only 3 more weeks of injections and drugs!
Had u/s today measuring 6 weeks 1 day, did not see a heart beat. Go back in a week for a follow up, should be seeing a heart beat by then he said. Hoping for the best.

Had my first ultrasound today with my RE! I am 6 weeks, 4 days and the babe was measuring right on track. Heartbeat was 124. It was so cool to see if flicker My ovaries were REALLY big... thankfully found a reason for my bloating lol. I didn't have any symptoms of OHSS (ovarian hyperstimulation) after IVF so who knows! Hopefully they will go down soon. Good luck to everyone at your appointments!

Had my first appointment and US today! We saw the baby and the heartbeat! I'm 8 weeks today and baby is measuring right on. Due date of 2/15/17. Such a relief to get the first appointment done and confirm everything is ok!
I was so nervous for my ultrasound in this morning!!! Everything went great. Taco is measuring 7+1 (which is consistent with my late O date) with a heartbeat of 140. New EDD is 2/22.
My Ultrasound is tomorrow morning and I'm freaking out. I don't even think the tech will tell me anything, it will have to wait til the doctors office gets the results so I might not know anything until Monday. The agony is killing me.
2nd US today at 8w6d. Baby measured perfectly at either 8w6d or 9w0d, with a HB of 160. I still have a bleed in my uterus, so I go back in 2 weeks for another US. Pelvic rest (no intercourse or strenuous exercise) until then. That's OK, I wasn't doing either of those anyway .

Little late, but I had my first appointment last Tuesday. The US was awesome, we got to see our little baby's heartbeat. This is our first pregnancy, and it was amazing. I have to admit I teared up a little bit.
