I've had a few waves of nausea this past week. It comes on suddenly and is FIERCE. By the time I start planning a trip to the bathroom to hurl, it's gone.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Why is it raining this weekend?! It's the fourth of July and I had plans to be at my parents' pool all weekend. But the weather has been disgusting.
GTKY: What is your favorite memory from the 4th of July? I grew up in a subdivision, at the end of a long cul-de-sac. It was your typical suburban style, everybody's friends with everybody type street. There were five or six houses in the cul-de-sac that spent a lot of time together. A few of the families had pools, so we spent the day bouncing back and forth between the two pools, then at night the dads set off some pretty intense fireworks in the cul-de-sac. It was like one huge cookout. ::Side Note:: One year the police pulled up to simply ask us to stop shooting the fireworks, as there had been a noise complaint. I was about 6 or 7 and swore they were going to arrest my dad.
I had my 7+5 week visit with the OB, hb of 148, which is great, baby measuring right on track. I got told that the OB is worried I'll have another small baby (first was 2nd percentile at birth) and there's "no chance they'll let me go late." I have an appointment with a different OB's office on Tuesday. We'll see how that goes.
Symptom changes?
Eh. More of the same. I had to cut my evening unisom down because it was giving me too many digestive side effects, and I'm still down a couple of pounds, but holding steady weight wise.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
I'm not supposed to hike. WTF? OB is concerned about low O2 sats at altitude. I ordered a pulse oximeter and we'll see how it goes. I don't really have enough energy to do serious hiking, but I'd like to get to amble in the mountains.
GTKY: What is your favorite memory from the 4th of July? My mom worked in a big tall building downtown one year - the whole family trooped upstairs - had a great view of the fireworks with the synchronized music over the radio, all the snacks we wanted from the kitchen, handy bathrooms and NO TRAFFIC to go home. It was the best thing about her working there.
I wish time would go faster so I can have my first appointment
GTKY: What is your favorite memory from the 4th of July? I loved going to the navy base for the fourth of July. We would bring our motorhomes and tailgate during the day. They had an air show during the day with food, games, and country music.
