My husband is half white / black. I'm Native American and 1/8 Irish 1/8 French. We both have brown hair, brown eyes and so does our 2 year old daughter. Our skin is tan. However, our 2 month old came out fair skinned, blue eyes and light brown hair with red tint. My husband already asked his mom if there were anyone on her side of the family with blue eyes and she said no. I have no idea how genetics works and everything but he looks like us, except he's very light complected and the eyes / hair.
I'm a Swedish/German/Irish mix with a tiny bit of Native American, but all you can really see is the Native American (very dark brown curly hair, dark hazel eyes, tan skin). DH is a Norwegian/German/Irish mix and has pale ruddy skin, sandy red hair and brown eyes. DS has my skin, hair, and I believe his eyes (grey-blue at birth) are turning the same dark hazel as mine. It's a good thing he has his daddy's eye shape and forehead! Otherwise he is all me!
