Canada Day!!! What are your plans!!

Happy Canada days my amazing Canadian people!! 

How are you planning on spending Canada Day??

What is your favorite Canadian Dinner or Desert?

I'm in California so I will be spending it with all of you from here :)

I'm planning on making our Shabbat dinner Canada style!!

So my American guests will be trying our Canadian delicacies with caution... since I am going to serve beaver tails for deserts!!

Hahaha can't wait to see their faces.

    No special meals, BBQ with the neighbour's and trying not to vomit.

    Ok I'm from Pennsylvania and totally just Googled "Canada Day beaver tails" to see if you're literally going to be eating a beaver's tail... if they're the pastries that came up in my Google Image search, they look delicious!

    Happy Canada Day! I spent 4 years of college outside Vancouver BC and my dad's family is scattered about the lower mainland and Vancouver island. My heart is Canadian.

    Happy Canada Day!! We had a pancake breakfast donated by the local legion at a park down the street from us. There was lots to do for the littles! Clowns making balloon animals, airbrush tattoos, a karate demonstration from a bunch of kids, and a local band (can't think of what else) 
    There was also cake at noon and hotdogs at 1 but I needed a nap so we didn't stay for that part. Hubby took dd back but hotdogs were gone!
    There will be fireworks somewhere in town tonight but I'm working so can't go :disappointed: and not until nearly 11 here so dd won't go either. 
    In laws are having a BBQ tonight as well!

    Happy (late) Canada day! Not from Canada but we visited twice for vacation and it is so nice! We love it there!

    Happy Canada Day from Ontario!
    We went out for Newfie Fries (similar to poutine but with stuffing, onions and peas as well as cheese and gravy...the peas are optional and I've never met an actual Newfie who gets the peas but I love them!) and came home to top it off with fresh strawberries and ice cream.
    Beaver tails are the best! I've never tried to make them myself though, only purchased them at local fairs and the like. Good luck, hope they turned out great for you!
