WAYDTGKU: temping, pnv, opks. Here's my question. This morning was my first time using the Wondfo opk, and when I opened the package, there were 2 sticks in it. Is that typical or did I just have a lucky first pack?! It was negative, but I did see a light second line. I'm sorta glad it isn't positive yet as we have friends coming tonight and will be with us for the next four nights.
R/R/CS: Rant - horrible phone call at work yesterday afternoon about an hour before I left. Woman DEMANDED that I set up an appointment for her with my boss. I told her that she was out of the office this week, but she would be returning next Tuesday. She proceeding to yell at me for about 5 minutes about how she had a right to see my boss and that I have to set up an meeting with her. Meanwhile, she wouldn't tell me why she needed to see her, and I explained that I cannot set up an appointment if I don't know the purpose of the meeting. She proceeded to yell at me for the next few minutes and short of my saying "Ok, she can meet with you at XX time," she wouldn't have been happy. Finally I told her that I would follow up with someone else (who had met with this woman in the past to try and get an understanding about the situation) and she continued to berate me, telling me I had no right to talk to anyone else. Umm, if you aren't going to tell me anything about the situation (I don't need specific details, just give me a topic of conversation), so yes, I'm going to get some information from someone else. Finally I just gave up and said "Ok, we are DONE" and I hung up. My heart was pounding so fast by the time I ended that call. I was so pissed! Why are people so nasty, and most importantly, do they really think I'm going to give in and give them what they want when they are being incredibly rude and disrespectful? Tell your story walkin' sister!

@BertieMeetsGertie Maybe you just got lucky? I know this might sound dumb, but I thought the same thing too when I first opened one because one item is actually the stick and one is the little packet to keep the moisture out.
@jnalexander2 I am just curious how you can be so certain you are ovulating RIGHT. NOW.?? The generally accepted thing around here is that ovulation is something you're able to confirm only in hindsight, by looking at a combination of signs lining up for that day. If you are tracking with Fertility Friend, it waits three days to give you "crosshairs" when it has seen a sustained pattern of elevated temps, that also lines up with a change from fertile-type to non-fertile type cm, and/or a positive opk within the previous 12-72 hours. So most bumpies will actually stay in WTO for the three days after when they "THINK" they ovulated until they get those crosshairs, or see the biphasic temp shift in their chart if they are using something other than FF to track, or opks are totally faded (which, fwiw, if a person were not temping wouldn't really tell them they actually ovulated, only that they had an LH surge.) Good news is you may actually get to stay in WTO just a few more days!!!! :D
R/R/CS: SO! I had a little bit of spotting like an hour ago so either today will turn into CD1 or tomorrow will.. I'm hoping that tomorrow will since the RE is closed on Monday (I think) and I'm supposed to go in for baseline tests on CD3 or 4 and I would rather not go in on CD5 and already fudge things up haha. But either way, I'm happy that AF is coming sooner rather than later! I cannot wait to get this cycle started! I took today off work since DH has it off so I can look for jobs and a rental in Washington around where we'll be stationed this fall. Job hunting is exhausting! But house hunting is fun!
GTKY: I'm sorry that I'm too lazy to gif right now but I'm was cracking up at everyone's!
@BertieMeetsGertie Just reading that made me mad! Good for you for getting off that call. She clearly missed the memo that honey gets your more flies than vinegar!
@BusinessWife I never really thought about it like that, thanks so much. I get to stick around with my new friends a few more days! Honestly I looked at all the signs (BBT, CM and OPKs) and was most certainly sure today was O day. But now that I look at FF you are right. Thanks so much!

I was expecting a later o because of the stress of the hsg (historically my o is very sensitive to stress), but I woke up this morning with a temp jump and now I have ewcm, which I usually don't get until o day. I've always been able to see the lh surge with opks, but I thought I was still safe because I haven't had anything close to a positive this week!!!! I am going to be so upset if I effed up this month - we haven't bd'd once!! Now I'm considering taking a long lunch and kidnapping DH from work, and getting it on in some parking garage downtown... wtf!

THIS!! YES!!! Hahaha Sometimes spontaneous HIO is the best!
@whiska Oh no! You were taking opks the whole time tho? I'm entirely not convinced, especially if you have NOT seen the opks getting darker, and also because it would be totally normal to have EWCM for a few days leading up to O, even though you say that's not necessarily normal for You. Bodies do all kinds of weird things. Your temps could totally drop again tomorrow and zig zag a bit before the real O-shift, right? Either way, tho if you are seeing EWCM YOU NEED TO GRAB THAT MAN AND NOT LET HIM GET AWAY UNTIL THERE ARE SWIMMERS INSIDE YOUR TUMMY-TUM!!! R/R/CS: My rant is that finally, after about 4 months of my husband having some serious issues being able to get/keep an erection and an incredibly low, practically non-existent sex drive (though the sex drive issue has being going on before. I've commented how before TTC we were in a "dead bedroom" situation) my husband FINALLY agreed to go to a doctor. His appointment was earlier and apparently, based off what he told me about the appointment, he sorta minimized the trouble he's having down to something like "sometimes, almost never, when my wife is putting a ton of pressure on me to have sex for TTC, I have a little trouble getting in the mood and making it happen." WTF!? Why even bother going to the doctor if you're going to tell them that. So the doctor tells him, of fucking course, that everything sounds fine and what he is describing is totally normal. She then tells him to tell me to "just relax" and "it often happens when you stop trying."

R/R/CS: This has been a rough week. *TMI* I'm dog sitting for the in-laws for two weeks and now the poor pup is peeing what looks like blood. *end TMI* He's acting normally other than that, but I couldn't get in touch with them in St. Martin (apparently his mom is getting bitten like crazy) and FI is on a 48 hour shift at work. I am waiting it out a few more hours to see what happens on his next walk before taking him to the vet since they are going to be closed on Monday. As for me, I'm crying at everything. FI does this annoying thing where he tilts his head sideways and goes, "Oh, it's THAT time (AF) isn't it? Let me see a calendar!" and then dismisses whatever is upsetting me. It's so annoying, especially since FF says it's not gonna happen for 5 more days. On a bright note, the last time I cried was about two minutes ago when I realized the song I am in love with for our same-day edit wedding video is now available for licensing!

I had the same thought that maybe a doctor telling him everything is OK will at least help with whatever the mental component is to all this. I do think some of it is a mental thing and he just gets himself way too upset over struggling one day. So maybe!
I specifically asked him to make sure the doctor checks his thyroid and testosterone levels. And he did at least do that. So it could be worse.
Thank you, by the way, for the support. I feel like lately I've been really bad about using WTO as a "dear diary" where I pop on and complain about whatever and then sorta disappear. I do really appreciate everything everyone says. I need to do better about answering other people.

@NYTino24 There was just some recent discussion about that if you search AHM, the thread should pop up, as well as you should see some usernames that have some more relevant experience with that sort of testing. I believe @Marley629 is one who had that test, but I'm sorry I don't really know much more about it than that.
@kyrenora So sorry about the loss of your great uncle, and CD1
@NamelessAria I always love to see your face! Whether it's just to vent or stick around and say more, and whenever you do, you always have such patient and kind feedback to share. <3
@NYTino24 I had the AMH test...actually I've had 3 in the past 8 weeks and all 3 have come back with very different numbers which is not supposed to happen. I think starting with the regular cd3 testing along with the AMH couldn't hurt but just know that the AMH is still very new in the world of science and it's just a number. After 8'weeks of heartache after my initial results I am finally just realizing that and have found many many successful stories online that have helped me. I hope it provides you with the answers you are looking for!!! (Ps you must be a fellow Yankees fan!!)
R/R/CS: RE follie check today. 2 16mm & 1 15.5mm. Of course it was still early & now I have to go back on Monday morning, probably for no real reason. Different US tech today and she was SUPER aggressive with the wand. Ouchy!!
@NamelessAria I've been feeling the same way. But there are days when I need more support and don't have much to give and there are other days it's the opposite. In the end, everything evens out. Hang in there and know that we are glad to have you on this board.
Also, FWIW, sometimes I find comfort in other peoples' complaint posts because I am able to relate to it in one way or another. Makes me feel better knowing that I'm not alone or crazy or whatever.

GTKY: I'm voting today Free-For-All Friday, and post your absolute favorite gif of all time. Or the week. All time might be really hard.
FI loves this one.
