I keep having BH contractions along with random vag twinges and they're getting more frequent, but there's no feeling of "this is labor" and then they're gone by morning. I'm hoping some crazy cosmic combo of full moon and summer solstice will send all of us into labor tonight.

Don't they say that more babies are born under the full moon? I hope it's true for you ladies! (and me too. :-) )
40+2 today- I am 1cm and 20% effaced... Was definitely hoping for more progress! Induction is scheduled to start at 7pm on Wednesday since baby is measuring big.
Can't believe my LO will be here so soon! Although in our "just for fun" thread I predicted I would go at 38 weeks so I guess the joke is on me!
Induction officially scheduled for Wednesday. Im barely dilated or effaced. That baby is not comin on her own anytime soon. Hopefully the induction on wednesday will progress quickly and bany will be here soon.

Sitting in the waiting room at labor and delivery now. Apparently all beds are full (blame it on the full moon). Was supposed to be induced tonight but not looking too promising at the point. Fingers crossed! I did tell them that if it didn't seem likely this would happen tonight to please let me know so I could get a good nights sleep in my own bed.
Was due Monday 6/20. Seeing a chiro tomorrow for some Webster action and hoping to get the ball rolling before scheduled NST and induction convo on Monday 6/27. Guess baby didn't want to be a Gemini...
Joining the club, ladies. It reminds me of the Groucho Marx quote, "I don't want to belong to any club that will accept me as a member". You are all wonderful, but the waiting game is horrid. Yesterday there were (what turned out to be ) BH every 7-10min-- full bodied, backacheing BH, but, alas, my little boy seems far too comfy to budge. Doctor's appointment today at 40 +1. We'll see what's going on. ::Sigh::
41weeks and still pregnant... The heat wave we've been having has definitely flipped the switch from mildly uncomfortable to GET THIS BABY OUT OF ME! Doc and NST tomorrow and scheduled induction Tuesday. Only minor cramping in the mornings, otherwise no sign of progress. Almost there.

I swear this kid must actually be horse or something and things it's supposed to be a 12 month gestation period... Dying over here!! 40+6, had 3x acupuncture, walked dozens of miles everyday, drank red raspberry leaf copiously, had sex, had one stretch and sweep and have another scheduled for 41+1.
It cut me off: I was saying scheduled for 41+2 cervadil, 41+3 break the waters and pitocin. So bummed but I'm losing hope that anything will happen before then...
Officially joined the club. My due date was yesterday. I was 3cm and 80% effaced. I had my membranes stripped. I had some cramping and a lot of bleeding after but feel fine today. Next Dr app is thurs for a baby biometric screen/ultrasound to make sure she is ok. As long as we stay healthy Dr said I could wait as long as 7/5 to schedule induction. I would prefer to not be induced so hopefully she decides to come on her own. I hope all your babies are making their appearances soon. Waiting is tough!
I'm part of the club. I'm now 40 + 5. SO over it. Plus I switch insurance on Friday so an induction before that would be nice... Everyone I talk to is constantly asking "have you tried sex? Pineapple? Nipple simulation??". Yes. Thanks for asking, yes I have... Nothing is happening. My kid is just being a jerk. If I could go in and pull him out myself I would!
40+1 here. Baby is still riding high, doctor said he would offer to induce but it won't do much. Going back tomorrow to discuss c section.
Your doc is wanting to do a c section simply because baby is high? Uhm.... I would be putting my foot down on that one. Lots of moms don't drop until they are in active labor or close to delivering..... I was induced with my son who was by every means not "favorable" and we did fine.... But maybe that's just me
I should have been more clear. I'm -4, baby is not engaging at all. That's why he's offering to do the section, baby being high is just another factor (that everyone points out to me lol).
Hi ladies! I'm currently 40w5d and have a scheduled induction this evening. Not thrilled with it, but I'm okay with the decision, given the circumstances.
Anyway, just wondering if anyone else is feeling super emotional at this point? I haven't felt any real mood swings this entire pregnancy (other than being a bit annoyed by little things here and there), and the past few days have been filled with crying and frustration. I'm guessing part of it is feeling a bit defeated by the induction plan, and part is hormones. Along with all these emotions, I'm feeling super scared of labor all the sudden. I guess I'm just looking for a little reassurance that this emotional mess I'm feeling will eventually pass? I just want to feel like my normal self again!
40w today, got checked... cervix is high and closed, I wonder how this is going to go... (DD evicted at 41w +5). The difference between this and my previous pregnancy is that I hope I can keep my head in order, I'm enjoying the extra time with DH and DD... (that's how I feel right now at least)
@Wepplo hang in there. Try not to feel defeated. I am 40w 4d. As long as my Dr appt on Thursday goes well they will hold off with inducing until after the holiday. I really don't want to be induced either. I am trying to remind myself the only thing that matters is having a healthy baby. I too have been feeling frustrated and a bit weepy. I gave myself a pep talk today about how many people would be so happy to carry to term....not sure if it helped me though! I hope your l&d goes great. Can't wait to see you post on the baby thread.
40+6 here. Induction scheduled for Saturday. Hoping to going on my own before then but I have had zero contractions. This waiting is so hard. Looks like I'll be having a July baby....
40+3 today. Looks like I'll be in July also. Induction scheduled next Wed. Ultrasound today showed everything looking good, he's just comfy. 2cm and 80%. But I've been 2 cm since 36 weeks. Maybe he will come Monday and we can celebrate his bday every year with fireworks.
@Wepplo I experienced a very low day right before going into labor that night. I was frustrated and trying to resign myself to an induction and just tried to do things to distract myself during the day. Good luck and try to stay positive. Hopefully your body will only need a little nudge.

Hang in there ladies! My first was due the last week of June and ended up being born on the 4th of July. Best birthday ever, my son loves it, and we always have off work.
40+4... Still feeling OK, but definitively had a little breakdown last night about being nervous about the birth process. I had such a crappy induction last time. Ehh... On the positive, I really appreciate that DD naps.. I love these last few nap while the toddler naps days!
I'm officially 41 weeks, and 2 days overdue.... People are constantly asking if I've had him yet, why they haven't induced, etc. I'm scheduled for an induction on Thursday, but I'm SO hoping and praying he comes naturally before then.
